Oh wow...I think they should let me go home early today because of the earthquake. Ahh its good to feel "human" again. first earthquake in a highrise...felt okay because my grandpa bulit the buliding I am in....it was a big shaker in downtown la today =) they had to stop me from running to the stairs! yikes "We have just experienced an earthquake. The buildings are secured but numerous elevator banks are down. At this time there is no emergency evacuation mandated. We will advise as we receive more information."

Okay, so we had that earthquake today. I have heard it was a 5.4, 5.6, and even 5.8 so I really dont know what it was, all I know was that Levi ( my ex husband ) had taken me to an interview and Im in there talking with the manager and all of sudden everything is shaking. Earthy Garlic Soup 2 heads garlic 8-10 oz day-old country style white bread 1 Tbsp olive oil kosher salt and freshly ground pepper 1 Tbsp chopped, fresh flat-leaf parsley Separate the garlic cloves and smash, peel and coarsely chop them. Remove and discard the bread crusts, and cut the bread into 1-inch pieces. Put it in a saucepan with the garlic and 5 cups water. Cover and bring to a boil. Reduce the heat to a simmer, and cook for 20-30 minutes, until the bread starts to disintegrate. Transfer the mixture to a food processor. Add the olive oil and process until smooth, about 2 minutes. This tangy sauced pulled chicken is so easy to make when it cooks in your crock-pot all day. Easter makes the bible and God a liar. How? Well the bible says that Jesus was crucified and in the tomb for 3 days and 3 nights and he rose early on the morning of the 4th day. Good friday is supposedly the day that he was crucified.So,if he was crucified on friday and rose on sunday,does that equal 3days and 3 nights? NO. Not even 2 days.Its a lie. A biblical day begins at 6 pm and ends at 6 pm the next day. By those standards,Jesus would have had to have been crucified on wednesday and add 3 days and nights to that would bring you to sunday morning. So, the foundational truth that establishes this holiday is a lie.You can't build truth on a lie.

I have a friend who does not color Easter eggs. I think because she does not condone the Christian implication. I on the other hand feel weird if I don't color eggs. It is something we did when I was a child, and, yes it did at that time have Christian overtones. We went to church (Sunrise and regular) and sang "Halleluiah" at the top of our lungs. I had a child. She and I have awesome memories of coloring eggs and easter even w/out the whole church "thing." It is her favorite holiday. An Easter Miracle!!!!!! The True Meaning Of Easter
Ok guys this is kinda long... I will try to shorten it as much as possible. My son was born in 2000. I took him home and within a few days his face kept turning blue, his breathing was shallow, his lips kept turning white. Well obvioulsy this disturbed me enough to bring him to the Emergency room. They diagnosed my son with RSV. Okay I am thinkng no big deal... Boy was I wrong!! They decided to admit him into the pediatrics floor. There I stayed with him for 5 days. His oxygen sats kept continuously dropping and he was even more sick now. I am thinking boy this RSV is a kick in the asser. The floor Resident(Doctor) came in and said he was ok enough to be cared for at home. I said to hell he is' his 02 sats keeps dropping and hes fighting to breathe!! He continued to the nurses station and told the nurses to draw up discharge papers. I looked at my brother of whom was with me through this entire ordeal and said this ain't happening! I refuse to bring him home like this. I called my son'

i know im late at posting this blog but i havent really been online to do so. so here it is. on easter sunday i was actually looking forward to going to church. i havent been to curch in six years, since my mom died the day after easter in 2001. well anyway, i was actually looking forward to going but i didnt get to bc i had to babysit and i actually cried bc i didnt get to go lol go figure lol. but yeah i havent been since that dreadfull day bc easter was the last day i spent with my mom. so its really hard for me to go to church on any other day. i can only go on easter bc thats the only way i will know if im over my moms death bc she was the bestest best friend i ever had. wish me luck for next year hehe.

Did allright for today's race had a really good pace, I ran 6:15 mile pace, felt I could of ran faster but I did 100 meter sprints yesterday to wake my muscles up before race day, today's prize was flowers but oh well its an award, I got a chance to race against sara spalding, she runs w/ the pacers running club, pacers is the #1 running club in VA,DC,MD area, no troubles with my alarm clock today, windy weather this morning at Belle Haven this morning, I wanted to take a tour of Mt Vernon Estates and take some pictures but I changed my plans after the race, I have 2 yrs stationed here so thats plenty of time to make a visit before I leave. Here are some thoughts from the weekend: I feel bad for the suckers who are waiting in line in K-mart right now at 2:32am, I went to Wal Greens and Giant Eagle, and both were empty. The Jigsaw in Parma is going to be as big a deal in this market as Peabody’s is in a short time. You can go to the venue without worrying about your car, and it treats the bands that play shows in that place well. King and At No End are two of the best kept metal scene secrets in Cleveland, i hope for not much longer. AIW put on on a great show Friday night, Al Snow was the bomb. Every match was a good one. Well Easter has come and gone. We did the family thing over at my grandfathers. Dennis(my brother in law) cooked out on the grill. He cooked up a shitload. We had steaks,italian sausage,burgers and hotdogs. Swear I got stuffed. After dinner the kids had a easter egg hunt. I was not able to be outside with them for that. The pain I was in just did allow me to do it. Still the kids had a blast and thats whats important. It was nice to spend time with everyone. UNC still got it going in the NCAA tourney. I went to church with my daughter and saw her performi n her play , and then after church we were invited to my Adopted american familys hose for church with all her family .. her house is lovely and very cosy .. They laid out a beautiful table .. complete with vase of flowers , her hubby had gotten her the other day .. 1 (8 to 10 pound) turkey Kosher salt and freshly ground black pepper 1 medium onion, quartered 1 head garlic, halved Several sprigs fresh herbs: ie. thyme, parsley, rosemary, and sage 2 bay leaves 8 tablespoons unsalted butter (1 stick), melted 1. Adjust a rack to lowest position and remove other racks. Preheat oven to 325 degrees F. Remove turkey parts from neck and breast cavities and reserve for other uses, if desired. Easy Like Sunday Morning...
Today I read some entries from a old journal. Oh how I had no clue about life at all. I wish I would've known then what I do now but that is life experience, right? A lot of it made me giggle, I use to be (and I guess sometimes still can be..) so dumb and silly. I can tell that I was having a lot of fun mainly because I was young and that is what you do. An Easy Way To Make Your Own Wand
Materials: -------------------------------------------------------------------------------- Stick from a tree*: This should be approx. 8"-12" long, or whatever feels most comfortable to you. (I get mine off of the ground, there isn't any need to harm the tree if you don't have to.) Glue: Tacky, Super, or Epoxy (Read bottle for best application.) Decorations: such as crystal points, stones, ribbon, paint to draw runes or symbols. This is your wand, so decorate it however you feel fit. This is how I decorated mine: I found a stick in the woods that I felt comfortable with, (believe me, I went through a lot of them before I found one I liked.) I sawed off each end, then I drilled a hole into the tip of it and attached a crystal point to it using epoxy glue. Then I wrapped the body of the stick in thin leather and stitched it together using fake sinew. I painted small symbols and runes on it, and attached a crystal sphere to the end of it. I think it really looks nice :-)

1 can cream of mushroom soup 1 can cream of chicken soup Fresh cut up chicken 1 can Minute Rice 1 pkg. Lipton onion soup 1 can water Rice and water may be increased to 2 cans of each if so desired. Preheat oven to 350 degrees. Place all ingredients except chicken in 13 x 9 inch roasting pan and mix well. Place chicken pieces, as many as will fit nicely into rice mixture. Salt tops of chicken (optional). Bake 1 hour or until chicken appears done.

15.5 ounce cans: 1 can pork and beans 1 can kidney beans 1 can pinto beans 1 can black beans 1 can crushed tomatoes 1 can chopped tomatoes 1 medium green pepper diced 1 medium onion, diced 4 ounces tomato paste 1 pkg chili seasoning (any brand) 1 pound beef stew meat Drain and rinse: kidney, pinto, and black beans In Crock-Pot add: tomato products and chili seasoning then stir together. Add all remaining ingredients (beans, onion, pepper & meat) Simmer on low 6-8 hours or on high 3-4 hours, stir at times double recipe in large Crock-Pot requires no change in cook time serve with shredded cheese and a dollop of sour cream. Forget the sandwich and use phyllo dough for a tasty lunch or finger-food appetizer. Ingredients 12 sheets phyllo dough 100% vegetable oil non-stick spray 1 Tbs. Dijon mustard 4 oz. deli ham, minced (about 1/2 C.) 3 oz. cream cheese, cubed into 12 equal pieces Directions Preheat oven to 350 degrees. Layer 4 sheets of phyllo, spraying each with vegetable oil spray. Cut layered phyllo in four slices crosswise. Place 1/4 tsp. Dijon mustard about 1 1/2-inch from end of a phyllo strip. Easy Lemon Dessert
2 eggs, beaten juice of 1 1/2 lemons 1 cup sugar 1 cup whipping cream 1/2 cup graham cracker crumbs Combine ingredients and cook in a double boiler until thick. Allow to cool. Whip 1 cup cream. Fold into the lemon mixture. Cover a shallow square glass pan with graham cracker crumbs, or alternatively, use a glass pie dish. Spread the lemon custard mixture on top. Refrigerate until ready to serve. Cut into squares if a square pan was used, or wedges if served from a pie dish. This recipe has been a Summertime favorite which has been in our family for over 60 years. Variation: These can be served in custard cups for individual servings.

Is a huge thing thats going on in this world today that i dont think alot of people really know anything about. Did you know that the permafrost in alaska is melting and is setting off a harmful gas called methane that if it keeps going the way it does could turn catastrophic. Some simple things you can do to helo stop global warming would be to ride a bike or walk, or if you do drive make sure your tires are filled with air when your tires are low it wastes more gas. Please try to check out websites so you can find things to do around your community to help. This is our home we should treat it that way.

Easy Cheeseburger Pizza
INGREDIENTS 1 can (13.8 oz) Pillsbury® refrigerated classic pizza crust or 1 can (11 oz) Pillsbury® refrigerated thin pizza crust 1/2 lb extra-lean (at least 90%) ground beef 1 cup tomato pasta sauce 1/4 cup chopped red onion, if desired 1 cup shredded Cheddar cheese (4 oz) 1/4 cup dill pickle slices DIRECTIONS 1. If using classic crust: Heat oven to 425°F. Spray or grease 12-inch pizza pan. Unroll dough on pan. Starting at center, press out dough to edge of pan. If using thin crust: Heat oven to 400°F. Spray or grease 15x10-inch or larger dark or nonstick cookie sheet. Unroll dough on cookie sheet. Starting at center, press dough into 15x10-inch rectangle. 2. Meanwhile, in 8-inch skillet, cook beef over medium-high heat, stirring frequently, until thoroughly cooked; drain. Spread pasta sauce evenly over dough. Top with beef, onion and cheese. 3.
