started off my day doing my weekly food bank thing, picking up and dropping off donated baked goods from a supermarket. get to morning job site, what should have been an 8 hour job we got done in 2,but paid for 8. stopped at the chili pepper in santa ana for lunch. the 4 best double margaritas i ever had. i ate too, jalapeno shrimp, zuchini, green peppers, diced tomatosand a ton of garlic in a butter sauce. new food to add to my top ten list went for beers in the neighborhood after smoking a joint somebody told me they loved me, made my day

So, James was deleted with no explanation. After spending hundreds of dollars, and countless hours on this site, as well as shamelessly promoting it to level to 30, it no longer seems worth it. I just feel like killing some time by posting a blog. :) I had a good day today. The class I'm teaching went smoothly and we didn't stay the whole time (3 1/2 hours) thank goodness. I got home around 3:30 and decided not to be a lazy ass and go do something. So I put on my bathing suit and headed to the pool. I took the book I'm reading with me. I finished the chapter I was on and read the next chapter too. It's a pretty decent read. The book is basically a woman's empowerment type thing. I then came home and was trying to decide what to make for dinner. I consulted my big spoon on an idea because it sounded odd, but my mom does it all the time. I decided to make bunless cheeseburgers for dinner with mashed potatoes and green beans. It was delicious! I've got to run to the store in a little while to get two things. I'm stressing about money, but I'm praying that it all works out. Well, that's all. Nothing earth shattering or even remotely interesting. Just me passing time. :)

Well over the years, Ive learned I have this knack for always wanting to help people. My uncle goes in tomorrow morning at 6:30 EST to have surgery to remove a growth from his lung. He was recently diagnoised (by fluke) with Stage 1 Lung Cancer. Fortunately, the area is contained and has not spread to the lymph nodes. This is a HUGE plus, however, as we all know, anything can happen in surgery. Good Eeg Test Results Say That Struggles Are Worth Having And That Which Is Worth Having Is Worth Waiting For.
I had a letter yesterday from the hospital, namely from the Neurosurgeon instrumental to my having surgery. It read that following the EEG tests to ascertain electrical activity in respect of future seizure activity, the results showed that although they were aware of a small number of sharper waveforms, during the over-breathing exercise test, they were on the right temporal lobe. These however did not constitute ongoing epileptic activity. Therefore it would appear that further medication reduction could take place in a year's time. This will be my next appointment with the Neurologist and hopefully he will write the prescription for reduced dosage medication and the reduction can begin, slowly of course. These results are good news and I wish those who matter to me were still alive for me to share this happy news. The struggles over the last four years have been worth putting up with although it has to be said that maybe the worst struggles encountered following surgery occur

My kids & I dropped off some gingerbread cookies for the patients at the cancer center earlier today. They asked us to stay and chat with them for awhile.... So as my son was taking his coat off & going to hang it up, he spotted a baby grand and started just tinkering on it. One of the patients asked if he knew any Christmas Carols, sadly, he only knew some of Jingle Bells but started playing Fur Elise, they stood around him... then they asked him to play another, so he played them Moonlight Sonata & the Canon in D. What a beautiful feeling that such a small gesture and alittle bit of our time brought smiles & happiness to so many people!!!! I find it quite amazing that so many people read from the same book, the same words, yet they turn them and twist them into such differences. One of the areas that sticks out is Lent. Many Catholics give up something for Lent and they dont eat meat on Fridays. This practice is widely accepted and is the reason there are Friday night "fish frys" and pepper and egg sandwiches as well as the double fillet o fish sandwich at Mc Donalds. The funny thing about this widely accepted practice is, there's no commandment from God, Jesus, the apostles, or anyone else to do this. Google has implemented a new feature which enables you to type a telephone number into the search bar and hit enter and you will be given the person's name and address. If you then hit MapQuest, you will get a map to the person's house. Everyone should be aware of this! It's a nationwide reverse telephone book. If a child gives out his/her phone number, someone can now look it up to find out where he/she lives. The safety issues are obvious, and alarming. Note that you can have your phone number removed or blocked. I tried my number and it came up along with the mapquest and directions straight to our house. Back in the day, computer programs (like Excel '97) would have what were called "easter eggs": random little stuff hidden within the app, put there by bored and mischievous programmers. As it turns out, there's one of those clever individuals at Google. In the latest version of Google Earth, if you press Ctrl+Alt+A a simple flight simulator comes up! Once you use it once, it's available in the toolbar, also. I normally don't care one way or another about flight sims, but seeing the Cascades in the distance as I looked down upon the -real- Seattle felt different from the approximations in games like MS Flight Simulator. I can't wait to get to my force-feedback joystick (with my stuff in storage on Oahu), since joysticks are supported. There are two planes to choose from, and if the feature becomes popular, hopefully more will be added. Dear Ninja Ok so i'm sitting on the horns of a dilemma. Yes it sounds painful. I was recently in a car accident. My car was fixed up and running better then it was ever running before. It jus looked like hell and it looks even worse now. Anywhooo the adjuster got back to me with the totals of what it would be if I keep the car ($940) and if I would let them take the car ($1700). If I keep the car I'd get a new fender, hood, breaks and tires. Orrrrrr if I let them take the car I'd look for a new car, prolly an explorer. What a refreshing morning. I have actually gotten some sleep the last couple of nights and I feel great. Yes, that is even in light of the fact I am still in this Gawd aweful place. DJ and I have been straining to get along. This is proving to be very rough on both of us, but thankfully my departure date grows closer and closer as I type these words. Goose Lake By Paul Mays Its the summer of 1970 and here I stand beside the freeway with my thumb out waiting. I like many others have heard about the concert to be held at a small farm and, like everyone, I just gota be there. So here I stand without a dime in my pockets, no food and only the cloths on my back as shelter for the next few days. But the sky is bright and the smell of wild flowers fill the air. I have figured that like Wood stock that the people would be allowed in and not be made to pay a gate fee or so I hoped. After about 5 hours with my waist long hair blowin in the breeze a pickup truck pulls to the side. The truck is driven by a longhaired radical commie pinko freak with the name of Fuzzy and in the back is a pile of human remains dragged from every exit ramp along the freeway. The smell of pot fills the air around the truck like a small cloud we never quite out run. These are the people, including me, that the news media have labeled Hippies.

Goosebumps Anyone?
A couple of days ago I decided to watch an episode of R.L. Stine's Goosebumps with Mami and Luvy. Of course it was Luvy's idea because she knows that those damn ventriloquist dolls freak me out. Anyway I noticed that that particular episode was the sequel to one of the books I read so I just pretty much spent most of my time hiding under the convers, holding on to Mami for dear life. The point is I think it's pretty cool they've made it into a series considering you can't get children to crack a book nowadays. Anyone else watch it? p.s. tomorrow they're going to give the sequel 'movie' to another book i used to have! :) I'm such a child. lol
