Purpose For Our Existence The Georgia Metal Alliance is a unifying force in the Georgia Metal scene. Our sole purpose is to bring unity and growth to the Metal scene and those who follow the Metal lifestyle. We promote all Metal world-wide, but especially the Metal underground of the state of Georgia. We are musicians/life stylers who have all grown up in the Metal subculture. No hidden agendas. no secret handshakes, no cliques within the organization. It's not a power struggle or is it all about who you know or who's ass you kiss the best. You will receive exactly what you put in. Your hard work will always be appreciated and celebrated. This is a REAL brotherhood/sisterhood. We are not the chapter of some out of state Metal club. Make no mistake about it, we're Georgia's premier Metal club and are 100%, homegrown! For all those who wish to support what we do, we thank and encourage you to do so by buying our support t-shirts and patches, by flying our support banners on your MySpace profiles and by adding us somewhere in your top list. For those who actually want to wear our colors and be officially brought in as a soldier, there is a process one must follow. No getting jumped in, no crimes to commit, nothing nefarious. The only thing we ask of potential soldiers in the G.M.A. is time, nothing more. Time for the rest of us to determine if you have the same metality and desire to propagate the Metal life style like the rest of us. Time to determine if you are of the right calibur of individual who can wear our colors and dedicate themselves to the cause. Nothing political, nothing racial. Just pure, Metal. Traditional Metal, Death Metal, Power Metal, Black Metal, Doom Metal, Harcore (not fashion-core or screamo bullshit). For a band or metal life styler to join our ranks can be advantageous on many levels. From band promotions, to making the right contacts, to simply enjoying the camaraderie of like minded individuals who you can call a true brother or sister. We are not an upstart metal club by any means. Our founder and president is also the founder and former president of another metal club's chapter in Georgia. He has since walked away from that organization for personal reasons and irreconcilable differences and has never looked back. This time we do it right! We do have certain rules that members must follow and uphold in order to wear our colors: 1. No illegal activities whatsoever. 2. No illegal drug use. 3. No gang metality. 4. No bigotry of any kind, be it racial or religious! 5. Respect your brothers and sisters who wear the patch at all times. 6. No wearing of club colors while riding a motorcycle. We don't want to misrepresent ourselves as a motorcycle club. We in the G.M.A. have the support of Zakk Wylde & the B.L.S., Lance King of (Defyance, The Kings Machine, Empire, Gemini, Decibel, Magic Kingdom, Balance of Power, Pyramaze, Shining Star, and Avian), Don Decker of (Anal Blast).
