I wish I was brought up Italian. They have the most incredible foods. Gnocchi is one of them. I have tried Gnocchi from many restaurants in my area and there is one that by far has the best around. I actually prefer mine with butter and salt (and maybe a touch of garlic powder - but then again, I put garlic powder on everything almost).
For those of you who don't know what a gnocchi is, it's a little dumpling of sorts, traditionally made out of potatoes, flour and eggs as the main ingredients. I wouldn't dare try to make them again after my first experience which was quite hideous.
Anyways, this is just another one of life's incredible inventions.
