The Dragon Rock
This story begins with Once Upon A Time, because the best stories do, of course. So, Once Upon A Time, and imagine if you can, a steep sided valley cluttered with giant, spiky green pine trees and thick, green grass that reaches to the top of your socks so that when you run, you have to bring your knees up high, like running through water. Wildflowers spread their sweet heady perfume along the gentle breezes and bees hum musically to themselves as they cheerily collect flower pollen. People are very happy here and they work hard, keeping their houses spick and span and their children's faces clean. This particular summer had been very hot and dry, making the lean farm dogs sleepy and still. Farmers whistled lazily to themselves and would stand and stare into the distance, trying to remember what it was that they were supposed to be doing. By two o'clock in the afternoon, the town would be in a haze of slumber, with grandmas nodding off over their knitting and farmers snoozing

Dragon Dance She lay her head on her pillow and soon falls asleep. Watching over her he sees her fall asleep and calling her name he waits. Hearing her name called she opens her eyes and she is no longer in her bed. He sees her standing outside of the falling snow and he calls her name again. A Dragon Finding Peace He sits perched on a mountain top on what he has come to call, his rock. Watching the tall trees as they sway in the morning breeze. Dragon Fruit
Last year, while on a regular grocery shopping trip, I found DRAGON FRUIT... now my original reason for buying it was simply the fact that I like dragons, so it sounded interesting. It cost me $2.49 for one. When I got home, I quickly got online, so find out exactly WHAT it was and HOW to eat it. ha ha. Well, it is SO delicious! juicy, and yummy. it contains many little 'seeds' like a kiwi, has a similar taste to a kiwi, though more sweet. The one I got was white flesh but apparently they can range from white to red. I would like to try the others, just to see if there is a difference in taste. My frined Kim and I went to see Drag me to Hell last night. I think it is probably one of Raimi's best movies. Now let me just say this movie is more disgusting than scary lol..I can handle tons of blood, limbs being cut off, necrophilia, and all kinds of other nasty stuff in movies, but......when you get into the realms of old ladies bringing out their disgustingly nasty dentures out and lying them on a table, said lady spitting up greenish/yellow phlegm, embalming fluid running from said dead lady into some undead womans mouth, said lady loosing her dentures and trying to gum another woman and saliva is flying everywhere, well I get grossed out LOL.. Call me strange haha...Go see the movie though, it really is pretty cool, but lots of "omg no she didn't" moments LOL And a lot of ppl making disgusted sounds haha...Just be careful what you are eating in this movie, enjoy!

Drag Me To Hell...
So I finally got a chance to go see Sam Raimi's Drag me to Hell, and I wasnt disappointed. It was actually pretty good. There were a few flaws, but every movie has them. If you liked any of the Evil Deads or Army of Darkness, this was kind of similar as far as the scares went. With a lil bit of comedy during the scary parts to lighten it up a bit. I was just glad to see a loan processor get tortured throughout the whole movie. She was a selfish, heartless bitch (kinda like every loan processor I ever met was) so it was satisfying to see her suffer all through the movie :) I liked it. It was a goofy, campy, scary movie. Id recommend it to people, but I know people have different tastes in movies.

so today i was nudged awake by my husband in the early morning hours because he was having chest pains. Took a trip to the ER....hours and hours later I am home. He was scheduled for a catheterization on MOnday but since he was having paid, they did it today. ok. I posted a mumm and it was only to see peoples reactions, but decided to delete it after people got all upset over it. there is no need. It was a simple question, that required a simple answer. ok So my partner and i had a baby 10 months ago and we used a sperm donor. He signed a contract and now he has been taking us to court for full custody. I am trying anywhere fo rhelp. Hey All, I know I haven't been saying too much here on the Tap, But I have had some things on my mind that I want to say. 1) I noticed that about a third of the blog entries I read are about how someone gets upset because they don't always get comments or ratings from friends or how friends don't always repost bulletins for their friends and family. Mom's doing great after her surgery. Yesterday the kids and I brought her home from the hospital and cleaned her house and did most of the laundry. We are going back tomorrow to finish up. The whine fest seems to be over for now. The doctor told her to take it out of the sling and move it. We'll see if she will. I think we need a soap opera here at where I work called as the Guard Turns...lol. Well I came in early to write a report for my site supervisor. We had a incident Saturday that caused someone to get shoulder shoved. So, my 18 yr old decided to break it off with a girl he'd been seeing almost a year, because she was too clingy, always wanted to be with him, would basically be up his backside 99% of the time. Some people say that you find your trouble, I beleive trouble can also find you. As always there is two sides of the story, or in this case drama. Drama loving people are the ones that enjoy going out and creating the lies, rumors, and troubles for others. They usually pick on those who are drama free...this way it gives them an advantage and then say they are just weaker. They will use anything they can and twist it about to create the drama. The person the drama is usually about is someone who does not create or cause it, someone was looking and they found you.....so this is where some people have drama once of a few times and some just don't know how to deal with it...being a rare thing for them. If you deal with it in the wrong way you will be feeding into thier web of drama, time and time again. Best thing is to ignore. And never give anything out that can be used against you when you area a target of someones drama time. People will beleive what they want in life.

I got married to the man of my dreams last month, sure we get into fights but who doesn't?? Yestrday was the worst day of my life... He begged me to go with him to see his grandma and sister while they're here on vacation. I didn't want to go because one they and I don't like each other, and two my intuition told me something bad would happen. Since he refused to go without me I said "fine" and we went. Within 20 minutes of being there my husband and his sister started getting into an argument. He called her a whore and she directed it at me saying "I'm a whore?? I'm not the one who got pregnant the first week here!" I'm pregnant and yes I got pregnant about 2 weeks into being in Hawaii, so she pretty much called me a whore. The whole time his grandma and sister were here I'd bite my lip and not say anything while they disrespected me all week and my husband wouldn't defend me. Well that day I snapped and got up to get in his sister's face and his grandmother got in mine.

Dr Appointment
Well I finally did it. I broke down and went back to the Dr about my ankle. When I went back in Oct-Dec I was seeing a different Dr than I normally did because when I first hurt it my normal Dr was not available. I suppose you should be wary when the Dr that walks in is named Rocco.lol. Anyway, after about 8 months, I still have swelling and pain (especially after playing baseball on Sunday lol). So my Dr gives me predisone. I go back tosee him in a week. If its not better in 2 weeks I see a specialist. So I hope you are all happy cuz I finally went back lol (though it was the baseball on Sunday that convinced me). :) I'm glad I have so many people that worry and care. :)

well told to do so by the folks at the er. he ran some tests after i told him what had happened, and also about the trip to the er, the spinal tap, ect. what i told him, he told me that it sounds like i indeed did have (and still do...but better and getting over) viral meningitis. he said it doesnt always show up on CT scans and LPs (spinal taps) and that this is not uncommon. good news is that he didnt see ant evidence of any sinus infection (probably due to the huge doses of antibiotics ive been getting). the only other thing he said was that it does take some time to get over this. as i remember quite well from when i had it once before. he said just take it easy and treat the fever (now low-grade). this has really knocked me on my ass more than anything else in a long time. and im still getting horrible migraines eveyday which from what i know about this, is normal. like i said b-4...thankgoodness for pain meds! i dont know how i would even function with these headaches constantly

Had my first appointment today with my Veteran's Administration doctor. This is enough to convince me to get a job somewhere else. I'm certain she's a good doctor, but we seemed to communicate on different wavelengths. For one thing, she couldn't understand the difference between "painful" and "functional". I am always in chronic pain. I will be for life. I use meds to take the edge off it, but not enough to affect my thinking, since in order to perform, I *must* be able to think. I use visualization, yoga breathing, auto-suggestion, and quite a few other techniques to work through the pain without meds. What concerns me isn't pain, it's functionality. My left arm hurts - big deal. My left arm is losing range of motion and I'm left-handed - Big Deal! I don't think she ever did understand that, while I can touch my toes if asked to do so, at the cost of a great deal of pain in my lower back and legs, I will *never* touch my toes unless a doctor is asking me to do so.
