Baltimore was the lucky first spot — and Tom's [Maxwell, guitar] hometown — so it was the perfect choice to bust our cherry! The venue, Ram's Head Live, was one of the most kick-ass live venues I have ever been too... state of the art. "We all came in for sound check at 3 PM. and, as usual, when we started it sounded like shit and I could tell that everyone was nervous. We hung with it and nearly did the whole set, but got it done and everyone felt really good about it. "Then it was show time. The venue filled nicely and early chants of 'HELLYEAH' could be heard from the crowd. This was a great sign and I knew we were gonna have a great show. I usually don't bother responding to downraters. I think they are childish. But this time I did. Some dolt who goes by the handle "The International Conspiracy of Malcolms" took the time and trouble to rate my photo a 3. I'm not the best looking guy in the world, and everyone is entitled to an opinion, but when I asked why he bothered, he responded by saying, and I quote "It's out of 10 moron. Only Cindy Crawford in the buff gets my 10". Well, I doubt she has a profile here, so I wonder why he is bothering to search through and rate photos. Perhaps downrating people makes him feel empowered somehow. You, like beating weaker people makes some guys feel empowered. I believe that if you don't find something positive to say, don't say anything. But who knows? Perhaps I am not so insecure that I need to build up my rating by glomming points in any way I can, particulalrly if it means being mean unnecessarily. I don't know. The Price Of Film
Oy. So I took waaaaaaaay too many rolls of film at faire last weekend. I have a digital camera but for the close ups that I wanted of certain shows I needed an SLR camera. Well, the only SLR I own is an APS film camera. Three rolls of film cost me 15 bucks! So I took a lot of pictures. I'm gonna be pissed if they don't turn out. Esp since it's gonna cost me about $66 to develop them when I pick them up at lunch. Once again I'm wishing that I had a digital SLR. Oy. I'll update with non-bitchy stuff later. :)

My Memorial Day Weekend
I hope everyone had a great Memorial day weekend. It rained the whole weekend here so it pretty much shattered the camping at the lake idea. Kim and I ran away to a hotel fo a night to get away. We got a room with a Jacuzzi bath tub and a king size bed. We had a lot of fun in this room and completely enjoyed ourselves. We played a few tie-up games and soaked in the jacuzzi and definetly made use of the privacy. The games were fun and I know we both completely enjoyed them, we have decided we need a jacuzzi tub in our bathroom as well. We went driving around Dallas trying to find a club with pool tables and a dance floor. We never did find a club we wanted to stop at. (There's a pTerry joke there.) I used to play viola, and there aren't that many solo works for the instrument- well, more than one might think, more than for the contrabass euphonium (and the trombone, thanks maybe mostly to Christian Lindberg, is doing well now finally...!), but compared to the violin there really haven't been that many. (Even so, I haven't heard nearly all of them, concertos, sonatas or otherwise!) Just added to my have-listened-to list, anyway, a concerto for two violas and orchestra by Antonin Vranicky/Wranitzky, a Czech ? Bohemian? composer. I'd been editing, working on improving, the Wikipedia article about him, at least adding to the worklist- one can find interesting things by knowing where to look (the Royal Netherlands library has a good collection of microfilms of his works for example, many of which I hadn't heard of from other sources. Name The Kitten
Well, We have inherited a new kitten. She is adorable. I am putting a link in here to her pictures so you can see what she looks like. Support For Our Troops
Last night I was watching a special about an American female journalist who was severly wounded while riding patrol with Army troops in Iraq. The cameraman, sound guy and an Army commander were all killed in the attack and several of the soilders were severly wounded as well. The most touching moment for me was when the 6 yr old daughter of the fallen commander looked into the camera with her huge brown eyes and said, "My daddy is a hero. He was a soilder and he died." This just brought tears to my eyes. It also got me thinking of all the ignorant people who confuse supporting the war with supporting our troops. Is it really so hard to understand that while you may not believe in the war...our troops are doing their JOBS. If you work at the corner gas station that just charged me $3.59 a gallon for gas, do I blame you for that? Should I yell and curse at you because I do not believe in the price gouging that is going on everytime I fill my tank? Of course not, you are just doi

There Are Somedays...
When you just want to go outside.. And stand, in one of those.. You know manners which shows that today would not be a good day to ask for that "spare cigarette".. And then slowly take in the world around you.. And then.. In an abrubt and forceful manner... Yell... "FUCK OFF WORLD!!!".. Then return home feeling, that little bit better. Well today is one of those days.. But rather than wake the neighbours thought i would say it here.. And hell.. I already feel that little bit better.. Though the world is still officially a cunt.. At least for the next 10hours 15minutes till tomorrow arrives..!

Why?
So.... I made a great friend here. I thought we had a real connection. Suddenly, and without warning, this person cut off all contact with me. Shera was a wonderful lady. I imagine she still is. I'm just hurt that someone who claimed to be such a good friend cut me off so abruptly. This was a person who claimed she coudln't get through a day without hearing from me, who never failed to cheer me up, and the two of us helped each other through rough times. Now she's gone. She deleted her profile here, she doesn't respond to private email off site, and she seems to have forgotten I exist. It hurts. There is one positive side. It got me thinking about other relationships in my life, and it leaves me determined to make sure these people aren't left wondering if they are still important to me. If I ever made you feel neglected or alone, I do apologize. It won't happen again! Enough of my whining.

Schooling
Well, I have to say that I am a little bit more than ticked off right now. Our teacher has informed us that graduation is being extended 2 weeks due to the fact that there is still to much material to cover to be able to cram it all on us then expect us to be able to pass the test. So graduation is now on the 9th of July instead of June 20th. I was so looking forward to it just being over with!!! Oh well, what is a person to do?

Not Feeling Well
I'm sorry for not being around, but the truth is... I havent been feeling well... I know I really should go see a doctor.. I am still down in my back and it has been over three weeks now... I think my blood pressure to be extremely high due to the birthcontrol pills the doctor has me on... So I didnt take them last nite and I will admit I do feel somewhat better.. but I do still experience my dizzy spells... Peace & Love To All, Sin.

Could It Get Any Worse?
Just when I thought things couldn't get any worse. Boy was I wrong. I went to work happy it was my last night for a couple of days and it was payday. However that all changed when I found out the news that I was getting switched to a different shift... I guess you could say i am single. Things just are not working out between the mother of my child and me. But being single isn't that bad i guess.... Im in FL & I dont wanna leave. There are kids here & they are hyper at 6AM!!! I hope they are not like this on the plane. i need sleep. They are loud. Memorable Massage

Promises Ever since human beings could speak to one another, they have been making promises and keeping them or not keeping them. Sometimes we forget how powerful our words are, and we use them haphazardly or unconsciously, creating expectations that are never fulfilled, leaving disappointment and distrust in our wake. On an even deeper level, there are promises we may have made to ourselves that we don’t remember because they have slipped into our unconscious. An early heartache may have been followed by a promise never to trust love again. Without realizing it, we may be fulfilling that promise and wondering why our love life looks so grim. Just Some Thoughts
I just posted some of the poems that Ive written over the past few years and it has brought back some memories for me...some good and some not so good but either way, I have learned that everything happens for a reason. You live and you learn and everything that happens to you, makes you who you are. I never regret the choices that I make in my life! Ive learned that when God takes someone out of your life, He always puts someone else in their place. Why? I dont know and to be perfectly honest, I dont want to know! I have been through alot in my 22 years on this earth, alot more than most will experience, and it has made me a very strong person. I dont open up very easily to people, for the fear of rejection. Collection Of My Random Thoughts For Today...
Yes, I still think of her at least twice everyday. I'm not pleased with my appearance but am very proud I am making an effort to improve it. I'm tired of being a mooch and plan on changing that in the next few weeks, I can only go as fast as the company allows me. Sad as it is to say my MP3 player has had it and its time to get a new one. The siblings I knew are gone. These ones are far more aggravating. Mom is not really even close to the horrible person I thought she once was and I'm actually proud to call her my close friend now. I hate to admit it, but Cherry Tap hasn't been the greatest experience for me. It was all fine and dandy when I first got started, but well...maybe it's just me. Don't know how to make friends. People confuse me a lot. I think thats why I am not a people person. I mean of course hiding behing the internet you do what you would normally not do in real life. Chicken Sandwitch
I was just looking at these thinking- Wow, my arm looks kinda long. lol. I just spent about an hr and a half making a chicken sandwitch. I was going to put the chicken in a crockpot,, make a penutbutter and jelly sandwitch, and go to sleep. But I put the chicken in the crockpot and it started to leak. there is some inner container one is supposed to put in the crockpot. I haven't ever used a crockpot like that before. So I had to wash it out. It said not to emerse in water. I didn't emerse it, but I still don't know if it will work now. I ended up cutting up the chicken, and then frying it in frying pan. After it was done, I realized I didn't have any tortillas to go with it. So I put it on some bread and ate it. It was good, but I didn't expect to spend that much time on it. cutting and skinning and cooking and shtuff.

The Angry American Part 3

Flowers In The Swamp
since becoming a member on ct i have found that often times it reminds me of a swamp. a dark swamp. cold,wet with creatures lurking deep in the shadows watching you. sometimes i find my self walking through the dark swamps of ct. pulling myself through the binding mud trying to make it to some dry land to rest a bit. i look around and see only tall slooping weeds. and hear the sounds of the pervs in the distince howling like wolves lusting for the next meal. sometimes i stop and ask my self why i walked into this swamp, why i left a dry path to venture into a dark place with nothing good. then i see a flower. a small flower all by itself cuddled in the midst of all the weeds. it is lovely! grand in all its being. comforting to my eyes. it reminds me there is light in the swamp, there can be a flower in the weeds. i stop and take a deep breath and hold my gaze upon this flower before moving on. and i find myself full of strength again ready to move on through the swamp. i dont

Wow, Why Does The Weekend Have To End??

My Art Work
I never showed my art work to anyone but family and close friend, but this year I took a chance and started showing it to strangers online and my on line friends. I also have showed it to family friends that where not close until the past year. Well, I have been lucky and its all in gallery for sale and they are making blank cards with envelope. Single card with my art work on it goes for 1.00 or pack of 6 for 5.99 and then T shirts with which ever picture you want for 15.00 a basic white tote bag for 10.00 with what ever picture you want on it. The other day a young person asked me how I felt about being old. I was taken aback, for I do not think of myself as old. I'm thinking Kaleb and I work very well together. I was gone for a week, and my poor co-teachers didn't have a very fun week with him. I picked up my weekly schedule in the office this morning, and I got kudos for "persevering and making brushing his teeth an acceptable practice" for Kaleb. When I first started working with him, brushing his teeth was a two-person job; over time I was better able to control him while I brushed and he screamed. Now he's fully cooperative with the process and sometimes even helps me a little. I could almost say I'm infinitely patient, but that's not quite the truth. I just have more patience than a lot of people, and I think that's a very good quality to have when working with little kids. But anyway, now I'm off to bed with a killer headache and hoping it's gone in the morning.

Ever have one of those days where you just feel completely off center? Well that’s been me today. (Yes I know my titles aren't all that original lately...) I was bored on break one day and wandered into a local hobby store. I stumbled across a "Micro-T" by "Team Losi." This is a 4.5" long radio control car that has some serious features (slipper clutch, differential, fully proportional forward/reverse/steering), and is amazingly durable, all ready to rock for significanly under $100. Charges up in 20 minutes, runs for about 10, and can go about 10mps. This quickly lead in the complete opposite direction, and now I've got an "E-Maxx" by "Traxxas" which is a 10 pound twin-motor, two-speed transmission 4wd performance monster truck that does 20mph... Both are addictively fun to run, and do NOT require upgrades to have fun with, but can be tweaked to perfection if you so desire (just try to remember with the micro-t that it is a sub 100 car to begin with... bling adds up quick!). Loser Idea!
So, I should have known that the flying machine wouldn't have worked...LoL! But, there is still the parachute idea. Just have to figure out how to get air born and in my chair, while controlling the situation. I think i need to come up with a new idea completely...just have to think...That's hard for me sometimes haha...joke! So I need ideas people! Help me out. Random Thoughts.....
i tend to dwell on tomorrow for the sorrows today, finding myself is the hardest thing to do...needle in a haystack doesnt even begin to decribe the search- i am me, they all love me today and hate me tomorrow although most just want to be like me i drown myself in thoughts of what is to come...my bullet proof vest serves no purpose in this fight- bullets pierce that so called heart of mine, leaving me to wonder why it even beats at all anymore....i can not and will not ever be able to fix a heart with puncture wounds- part of me is forever gone, being replaced is not an option i step put of the dark chamber into another...although this one is colder and darker than before....someone is breathing down my neck- to scared to turn around- i walk further into the darkness...no light at the end of the tunnel for me, no more trying, no more giving in, no more compromise, no more sacrifice where is this dark chamber leading me?

My Not So Good Evening
My day didn't get bad until after work. I get to the subway station and the subway is crowded. Already, I'm thinking bad things. If it's that crowded at the first station, the train must have taken a long time to get there, or in this case, been there for a long time. No one knew for sure why. Anyways, just as I sit and get comfortable, everyone has to get off. Didn't say why (that annoys me right there). Anyway, we had to wait on one of two buses to get there and they were both crowded. Not to mention it took a while to get there. We get to a couple subway stations down the line (by now, it's after 6. I'm usually home by now.) I get to the subway station and it's just as crowded as the buses were and the subway was before that. (If you can't tell by now, it was basically the same crowd.) The train finally gets there after waiting a good twenty minutes or so, and it's just before 7:00 when I finally get home. I hurry up to finish my other school project and I dunno how I ca
