I'm thinking Kaleb and I work very well together. I was gone for a week, and my poor co-teachers didn't have a very fun week with him. I picked up my weekly schedule in the office this morning, and I got kudos for "persevering and making brushing his teeth an acceptable practice" for Kaleb. When I first started working with him, brushing his teeth was a two-person job; over time I was better able to control him while I brushed and he screamed. Now he's fully cooperative with the process and sometimes even helps me a little.
I could almost say I'm infinitely patient, but that's not quite the truth. I just have more patience than a lot of people, and I think that's a very good quality to have when working with little kids. But anyway, now I'm off to bed with a killer headache and hoping it's gone in the morning.
