Life can throw a person a lot of curves as we well know. But when things are low you have nowhere to go but up. I have looked back the last 6 years and have said wow...I was below ground. Of course I didn't think it would ever happen to me but it did. I ended up spending 11 months in a shelter with no money...but I did make a lot of friends. Living with people who are in the same boat as you. Something I wouldn't wish on anyone..not good to feel a lone and plus battle depression at the same time. Sure, I'll Have Another
yesterday was my daddy's "service" if thats what you want to call it. It was nice, lots of sad people and crying. I would like to say I got it all out of my system, but all I have to do is think one little thing and I am fighting to keep back tears again. my daddy drank cheap beer. Keystone Light. We toasted him at the service with it. we weren't sure how many people were gonna be there so we had a ton of it in the ice chest. We over prepared. A lot of people came, Daddy was very loved and had great friends, just not that many drank. I took charge of it, took the beer home with me so my brother was not left alone with it, and disposed of it all day. Let me just say that 7 hours of drinking cheap beer does indeed leave you with a hangover in the morning. This morning I am sad. After the lost of my father in April of last year my mother had given up on living. Things can change in a year for sure and they have for me. I'm back in my home town now. However being closer to my mother didn't last very long. I moved back on July 1st of 2006 to be closer to my mother. In the middle of July my mother had blood clots in her legs and was hospitalized. Something happen....a blood clot may have went to her brain who knows. After her stay in the hospital she was put in a nursing home. She was diagnosed with dementia...the early stages of Alzheimer's disease. They have tried treating her for it with anti depressants mainly. The first nursing home she was put in was near by. That didn't work out for her because the anti depressants she was on was making her bust out in mad rages toward the workers. Again they found another blood clot in her leg and was hospitalized. She was released and put in a different nursing home where she still resides today. I try to get over to see her when I can and between me and her daughter we try our best to please her. Monster Trucks May 26, 2007 Sudbury
Well as some of yous know for easter my oldest got two tickets to the monster truck spectacular from the easter bunny. Tristen & I went together. All day Sunday he asked me when are we going can we go now. He even watched his monster truck dvd that I got off of Q92.We left early in the day to go eat and make sure we got there before the lines where out the door. We where at the gift shop place and I was so upset at the prices talk about out of this world prices. They did have on floor passes for $10.00 each so we could go up and see the trucks up close and he could met the drives where they would all sign his dvd. We have taken a lot of pictures I am going to get some 8X10 and put them up in his room. He had a great time. All he could say was monster trucks I think the kids was in shock. We watched the show it started at 7pm and ended at 9:10pm. We also got our on the floor passes signed. Tristen had a great time to sum it up. I will for sure be bring him back next year to see them. The passing of my father......... It was very hard for me I must say. He passed away in his sleep during the night. My mother went in to wake him and noticed he was cold. For the last 5 years he was in ill health. Had a bad heart and diabetic besides. I remember talking to him on the phone the day before and him telling me ..."I don't know"..think he knew his time was nearing. I had no grieving time with his death really. Their was no funeral just his cremation. And feeling so helpless because I was 31 miles away with no car. I didn't have the chance to say goodbye to him. Later in the month it really started to bother me something bad. Everyday seemed worse as time went a long. I had no closure to his death..it was eating me up inside. I remember the 1st of June I was really bad that day. My neighbor came over and found me in a heap..sobbing like never before. She called 911 and they took me to the hospital. I was treated and let go after 6 hours. The coming days were just as wor

A Touching Story I try not to be biased, but I had my doubts about hiring Stevie. His placement counselor assured me that he would be a good, reliable busboy. I had never had a mentally handicapped employee and wasn't sure I wanted one. I wasn't sure how Customers would react to Stevie. He was short, a little dumpy with the smooth facial features and thick-tongued speech of Down Syndrome. I wasn't worried about most of my trucker customers because truckers don't generally care who buses tables as long as the meatloaf platter is good and the pies are homemade. Memorial Day
I know there will be a lot of these out there, but I wanted to make sure I took the time to remember why we have Memorial Day. Yes, it's nice that we have a day off from work, so we can hang out with our friends and family, have a cookout, party or whatever you plan to do today, let's just remember the reason we have the day off. We are honoring those who gave their life to protect our country, and us. Some gave their life, some served a lifetime, some were wounded, some weren't, BUT, they all deserved to be honored today. Without our troops, where would we be? My Life And Happyness
My Life So far up here in Maine has been well going great ! I realy cant complaine! I went to the VA Doctors here in Togus and Have seen diffrent Doctors and they have been realy helpfull in everything! I was diagnose with having PTSD and have had a few aches and pain due to it. Airport Life
work lately has been ok, except i think im going to start charging ppl that ask me Stupid/Dumb question from now on. take this one, the other night while standing in the terminal this guy comes up to me and asked "where mcnammerar terminal" i looked at him, and w/out thinking i said to him "ur standing in it" i had to say it 3-4 times, before it sunk in his head that i was telling him what he wanted to hear. now i speak English good(pretty sure i do, since its the only language i speak) an he spoke English as well. so i know i he was understanding me, but he still looked at me like i was crazy. its at least 4-5times a night i get someone asking me "where's baggage claim" mind u, there asking me while standing in the baggage claim area. working at a airport is nice, fun, interesting at time, it seem that ppl think since u work there and have a airport id, u are to know every flight that comes in an goes out, an u are to know everything that is wrong when there flight is delay

my cousin's baby girl is now up to 3 lbs 14 1/2 oz. she is off the oxygen and feeding tube. she might have to have a eye surgery though. outside of that she is doing great and will be home soon.

Update On Surgery
Surgery for my feet is now scheduled for june 26th. I also recently found out that i have a problem with my brain.. excessive intracranial pressure.. i have to have a spinal tap done to determine how high the pressure is and if its to high i may have to have surgery to relieve the pressure, or it could make me have a stroke or worse. Sooner Nationals
I had a blast yesterday. M4 and I got there about 8:30 in the morning after eating breakfast. We walked around the lot which was cool you could see the guys working on the cars, most of them were tearing down motors. The racin didnt start till about 12 due to rain. Even after the racing started we had to stop ALOT due to more rain. We got to see alot of the truck w/ the jet dryer and two trackers w/ rubber on the back of them which they ran on the track. I took alot of pictures and a few videos as you can tell if you look at my profile. I didnt think the videos would come out very well so I didnt take very many. If you ever go to a drag race or anything you have to sit on benches I would tell you to bring a chair that can fit on the bench. I heard they sell them at wal mart for like $15. my luck and patience are getting real thin. Granted I live at home and take care of my mom, she is germ-a-phobic (she was an RN for 44 yrs), and insects (those who may land in her hair), shes also parnoid about things she buys in store (cartons of milk, things you put in the freezer) she washes these items before putting them away. Im sick of people saying "Im interested in you" and changing plans on me or lying to me. This is killing me and with the other BS I get by people who judge me on my looks and the other drama. Ugh I keep getting behind on this lol, I guess it's a good thing I don't usually have much to write about lol. I didn't do a whole lot yesterday,but I did finally get the mic hooked up so that I could do Skype with DJ Cracker and that was alot of fun we talked for at least 5 hours lol. Austins Graduation, My 12 Wedding Anniversary And My Trip To The Er!
Austins 6th grade graduation and Mike's and I's 12 wedding anniversary was on the same day... May 25 so it was a busy day.. we both got the day off and spent the morning watching the kids get their awards (pics were added check em out!) Week From Hell
Well last week was the week from hell. A month ago, the company that I worked for was bought out...and as one of the stockholders, I voted for the buyout. We had heard rumors that there were going to be some "cuts" and they were going to be painful. Last Wednesday the "painful" cuts started....150 people lost their jobs as a result of the downsizing...and I was one of them. I had to go in on Thursday to "teach" some people the jobs that only I knew how to do....it was a hard day for me. But with a few tears, some laughter, sharing some great memories and lots of hugs and kisses from some of my really wonderful co-workers, I got through the day. Well, I found out a few days ago that the woman I love has no feelings for me, even though she told me she did. Instead, she has them for another men, one of my best friends. How utterly pointless are competitions on this site? If you have a tattoo contest or a beauty one or whatever it is, it is not down to the person who has the best tattoo/llooks/whatever, it is merely down to the person who has the most friends who will bomb the comments for them to win. Things are going all right, I guess. I got rid of a few patients. I have only three right now, and they’re pretty stable. And I got a decent night’s sleep last night. I really needed it; basically collapsed at nine-thirty after I got home totally wiped out from another all-nighter without any sleep. So right now, things are looking up. Sunrise
So right now it is 5:05 am on Sunday morning and I am awake! I have been awake since 2:30 am and haven't been able to get back to sleep. Pretty weird for me considering how much I love to sleep! My Marriage

Funny thing, really, when you think about it, a day to honor all those who died in defence of this country. Since this is my forum to rant and bitch.... I have absolutly no repsect for people who drink until they can no longer hold there own weight. I cannot abide alcoholics and have no sympathy for them. Have you ever reached a point in your life that you can't help but think of the crossroads you've crossed? The dead ends in life that flipped around to be new openings? Today - May 26
I have almost 200 photos to go through from tonight. I have the next three days off, so I'll get to them at some point. I did resize a few tonight - the ones where I actually parted with my camera for a few minutes and ended up in the shots. The picnic tonight was at my parents' house. Family, friends, food and fun. To my friends and family here on CT I must apologize. At the moment my life is flopping on the deck life a fish fighting for a breath of air. My girlfriend is away in basic training and it is driving me nuts. I come on long enough to read a few messages, but mostly I have just been lying in my bed thing of the woman I miss so madly. So I'm sitting here and I'm setting up my new computer which my wife has bought me. Is this a bribe? I know she wants to make sure that the kids have a good Dad and all but does she still want to be with me...scratching my head will most assuredly make me bald. Think! Hmmmm!!!! If I Had A Dollar For Every Time I Heard That...
So today was an interesting day... spent it helping my Ogre move his wife (don't get me wrong, they have filed for divorce, people) out of the house they used to share. She and I had alot of laughs today.. the biggest one being when she was explaining to someone over the phone who I was. It tickled me to death because though it was worded a tad bit differently, the meaning was the same and it's really one of those labels you don't expect to have attached to you more than once in a lifetime if at all... she said to this guy.. "Paige is here with me. And my husband.. Paige is my husband's girlfriend." I about laughed my ass off... I never expected to EVER hear that label again.. though it is in meant in a completely different context than the first time it was bestowed upon me, I still have managed to come full circle. Later on in the day, I shared this laugh with my boyfriend, who knows the whole story behind why this is so funny, and I thought he was going to wreck our car

28 To 32 Mpg? Bfd! Wtf?
Lately I keep seeing these commercials about this manufacturer or that auto maker has 5 or more cars that get better than 28 MPG. In these days of highway robbery gas prices, I'm sure this seems like a big deal. After all, we have to make every drop of the precious petrol count, right? Funny thing, though, I had a 1974 Plymouth Valiant with a 318 (V8) that had well over 150,000 miles on it, and I got around 28 MPG (highway) with it. A car from the days of "goes really fast and gets really shitty mileage" gets about the same miles per gallon and we should enthralled that auto manufacturers are doing the same thing now? I have vague childhood memories of my Mom having to wait in long lines with her Duster at the gas stations when we had very little oil. Iran had stopped oil production, the Saudis were jacking up their prices, and here we had the "Energy Crisis". Being Alone.
Why is that some times it gets to me that I am alone and that I do not have that special someone in my life? Most of the time it does not bother me that I am alone.
