I still have a hard time understanding people who say that questioning the war in Iraq is disrespectful for shows a lack of support for our soldiers. How does my disagreement with the war in Iraq show a lack of support for troops fighting there. I want them back here! I want them out of harm's way! When the U.S. was attacked in 9/11, I said to my friends that I supported going into Afghanistan, removing the Taliban, and getting Bin Laden. My Mission...my Drive....revised
Over the course of the last few months...say since October '06 or so....my drive and mission has been to reach as many people as possible and help whoever I could that has suffered the same sort of loss as myself or worse in some cases. I wanted my blog to get to #1 and I wanted to get my page as high in the ranks as I could get it all in the name of reaching more people. Some might not believe that and thats fine...I could care less what the nay sayers have to say about me. I think I have grown past that need to get everything to the top because I know that no matter what...I AM helping people and if others out there feel the need to keep me down JUST so they can be better and higher up in the food chain so be it. I wont be the one with my conscience to deal with. There used to be a time that I thought that Valentines Day was solely a marketing holiday...I thought it was a crock of sh*t put on by hallmark or the candy companies to sell sh*t. Missing My Soldier
On 2007/02/04, I had recieved a phone call from my wonderful husband. He had stated that he had re-inlisted for 4 more years. As far as we know, we are staying here at Ft. Carson. He means everything to me, and more. Nothing will ever change that, yet, I am also afraid. What some people don't know and don't comprehend can really hurt themselves, and their relationship with the ones they love. I was told by a good friend, since I hardly read the news bulletins on yahoo, that there's a good chance of so many coming home in 180 days. So many will be extended for another year, possibly, with out any R&R. Well. Needless to say, my husband's unit is one of them that has a 90% chance right now of being extended. Every night I pray that it doesn't happen. Please keep your prayers with all our troops. God Bless you all!!

Last Night.... Today
I wrote this last summer when me and my dog were stuck in AZ for almost 2 months with no way home. I met someone recently. He is a very nice guy, but he holds onto so many bad memories. I know it's difficult, but I know, too, that being negative can hurt ones friendship/relationships. 30 some years ago, my father that just passed become very good friends with a man. I have grown up knowing him as uncle even though he isnt any relation. found out after i got back from my fathers Celebration of life, that my uncle has cancer. Monday Feb 12th
Very short blog here. Tommorrow morning, is the change of custody hearing. The last time i was in court the judge said "unless your ex gets struck by lightning, and turns into a different person, you're going to get custody." Fact is i've heard from the ex in 3 times since christmas, and she hasn't changed, she hasn't been drug testing, and is still living in and out of homeless shelters. What is it about dreads that people like is so gross. I know that some people don't actually wash their dreads and that is kinda nasty, but hey I go sometimes three days without washing my hair. The natural oils and stuff do my frizz well. And when I do wash my hair, I wash my dreads too. I mean after all it is just hair in a snarly ball. What's the big deal? I luv em' on anyone. Ok Yeah...
OK. So last night, I had this dream that I dyed my hair light pink with purple streaks. In my dream, I loved it, and my mom hated it. My two fav things in the world! I also had this wig. It was dark pink with blue streaks. It was kinda weird. I put the wig on and was asking what people thought with my hair like that. Most loved it, a few hated it. Then I'd wip it off and revel the lighter colors my hair actually was now, and they'd either be plesently surprised or alost have a heart attack. I also remember swiming in the dream. And I was at this hotel that often appears in my dreams. I don't think it actually exists, but in my dream world, it reappears often. It's not actually that great of a hotel. Kinda crappy actually. Ever noticed how much junk email is offering to sell you medication at reduced prices? Why is that? Are we all ill and just don't know it? Is there really that much viagra in the world that they can sell it at those prices? Are Pfizer employees being given huge amounts of performance enhancing drugs? Do Pfizer make these performance enhancing drugs themselves or do they buy them from a rival drug company? I've gone cross-eyed trying to work it out. Personal favourite junk email message: "Look twenty years younger!" I think my work collegues would freak out if a seven-year-old turned up to do my job. Aah To Be Satisfied
It's Sunday morning and the kids are in bed. This means it's quiet....for now. of course Buddy our dog is up, but he's not scratching at the door to go out yet, so all is well....for now. I love the weekends because most of the time, there is nowhere I have to be. I relax, get my laundry done, and get on the internet. I do, however have to walk Buddy. I wish I could just open the door and let him go "do his business", but he would just take off. He has gotten out before and come back though. I was told once that if a beagle runs away, they come back if they're loved. Maybe that's why he came back. He knew we loved him. I love my life. I'm very satisfied. I hate winter, but I realize it makes me appreciate the warmer temperatures. I guess I've learned to take the good with the bad. If we didn't have the bad, we probably wouldn't appreciate the good, would we? Aah to be satisfied. There's nothing like it.

Feel A Bit Better

My Bad Week
OK sonme of you know about my bad neck.... in case u dont, i am suffering from a now 2 bulging discs in my neck. well on tuesday i went in for my steropids injection treatment nad ended up with 50 injections within 20 minutes, and let me tell u they were extremely painful and i do mean painful in the most serious way. i fucking passed out form it basically. I have been told I sing this song really well, and I am trying to debate on whether I wanna sing it or if I should practice something else for when I go to Denver CO this year and sing for the American Idol tryouts, I sang it when I was in junior high as a solo, and I have been prcticing it since all the time. Training Academy' Graduate
It had only been six months since I'd graduated from the 'Police Training Academy' at Glen Waverley. I was a teenage 'trainee' policewoman. Creating Another Image Server
Well, after creating my own special eCards for use on here, I have been getting requests to make some specifically for other people. Also, after I create my eCards, i have to go through the steps of typing out the code and uploading them to my server so I decided to use a domain that I own to make something more useful not only to myself but to others as well. I started working this morning on some basic code to display my eCards, generate thumbnails and create the required code to paste the information into a blog such as this. I actually did most of it while at the local bar doing laundry today. Yes, we have a bar with a laundry room. So two Corona's and two loads later, I created this new host. Things Going On With Me With In The Past Couple Weeks!!!
