March Madness Is Almost Upon Us
I want all sports fans to consider the following with college football barely a month removed and with March Madness right around the corner. From Reggie Bush at USC, Corey Maggette at Duke, Chris Webber at Michigan, Nebraska football, and Lou Holtz at South Carolina just for examples. Over and over in college sports it's all about making it to the "next level". I would contend that most "major level" college programs have inherent problems with inappropriate gifts or contact between either boosters or agents and the athletes. The problem is the NCAA knows when and where to look and I suspect that they conduct their investigations after seasons are over, and not during seasons for the simple fact it is the athletes that help generate the money the NCAA uses. They aren't going to slit their own wrists, so they investigate afterwards and punish the school, when they know fully well that the athlete has moved on, but the coach and the booster/agent are still around. As Of Recently...
My defense walls were built so high for a long time that I never really let anyone in. I walked away and never gave some amazing people a chance to really get in. Online Radio Station - The Absolute Hardcore
(NSFW Just in Case......) As always I am looking for ways to share my music with my friends and family becuase, well I just enjoy it... That and after I get my DJ equipment I will be deffinatly broadcasting my live mixes just for fun. I'm not expecting anyone to be listening, but since I ALWAYS have my music going non-stop (duh major part of my life), moves my sexual being to deeper appetite wetting experiance. So now the only thing I need to do is get my IP address set as a static so that people can actually tune in to it. No point in doing all that hard work for nothing, lol.

So What Is This Lilypond Stuff Anyway...
I've posted a lot of graphic files (PNGs) created using the program LilyPond. Good practice and somewhat easier to do with time, except as I pose greater challenges for myself, but it does, it is a good idea, to explain briefly just what I'm doing. It's not point and click graphics to place the notes and write in words, as with programs like Encore, Finale, and I think Sibelius too. It's a lot more like computer programming- read the score, figure out what you want LilyPond to do (a quarter-note C in the violin followed by an eighth-note D, then hold a whole-note E-flat while the viola enters under it with a scale going up...) and figure out how to write that in LilyPond's own language. If your solution doesn't work, refer to the manual and try, try again until you find some clever solution that does. (The program and the manual are free from their website lilypond.org.) It's been fun, educational and might lead to some work for me; I'm glad I was introduced to it.

The Farmer

Static Fires Bob Renkes of Petroleum Equipment Institute is working on a campaign to try to make people aware of fires as a result of "static" at gas pumps. Corvette Clubs
I drive a mercedes at the moment and it's a fine car but nothing to special anymore, i've also owned others like mustang, bmw and a porsche boxster but they're all really starting to pale in comparison to the corvette for me now. Three commercials from the Super Bowl are drawing a little "fire" from certain groups for being "offensive." In my view, "offensive" is a pretty subjective analysis. Some examples are simple. A black guy calling his friend "my nigger" isn't generally considered offensive. A white guy, wearing a white hooded sheet, calling a black guy "my nigger" is, not surprsingly, considered offensive (unless you're white guy in the hooded sheet or you're in the deep south, in which case, I hear it's pretty routine). On the other hand, some examples are esoteric....like, perhaps certain Super Bowl commercials, subtle innuendos, etc. Or...maybe they're not so esoteric at all and, in fact, it's just that a vocal minority wants to impart upon us how the rest of us should live our lives. Mirrors Of Emotion
After a long and stressful day at work, I decide to go for a late night drive. It feels like I have been driving for hours. I look at the road signs and have no idea where I am. I look in the distance and see a dark dreary castle. I continue driving down the long winding road. I pull up to the drive way and stop. Ahead of me is a huge gate with skulls all over it. All of the sudden, the gate opens like it is beckoning me to drive through it. So, I step slowly on the accelerator and drive up to the front of the castle. I put my car in park and get out. I stand looking at the huge gloomy castle, then the front door opens. I don’t know why but I go up the stairs and walk inside. Everywhere I look there are mirrors. Last year I replaced all the windows in my house with that expensive double-pane energy efficient kind, and today, I got a call from the contractor who installed them. He was complaining that the work had been completed a whole year ago and I still hadn't paid for them. Hellloooo, just because I'm blonde doesn't mean that I am automatically stupid. So, I told him just what his fast talking sales guy had told ME last year,..... namely, that in ONE YEAR these windows would pay for themselves! Helllooooo? It's been a year! (I told him.) I never looked at myself as the kind of person that was caught up in my image. If I'm running late then give me 15 minutes to get ready (20 if I need a shower) and I can go out of the door and be relatively happy with my appearance. But now that I have poison oak covering a good third of my body, I really don't want to leave the house. Everytime someone looks at me I feel like they are trying to figure out what is wrong with my face/neck. Luckily it shouldn't be spreading anymore, but there is very little of my body that it hasn't tried to conquer. I have poison oak on my face, my neck, my hairline, my ears, my wrists, calves, thighs, lower back, stomach, chest, ankles, knuckles, behind my knees, upper back, and chin. I feel like a freak. Many people say that you can't really tell it's on my face, but I can tell. It's all I see when I look in the mirror. I can't wait for this week to pass, so I can melt back into human society and not fret over my appearance once again.

The Mommy
The past couple of days have been days that have reminded me just how short life is. How in the blink of eye your life can change or even worse be over. My daughter, Madison is in 3rd grade. I always hear her talk about a little boy who sits by her named Jordan. "He is always asking me for my pencils mommy!" She would always give them to him though. I didn't know much about Jordan until yesterday. Now I'd give anything to change that. Jordan's mom must have been busy yesterday morning. She first dropped Jordan's little sister off at an elementary school near their home, and then dropped Jordan off at his school which is about 30 minutes from their home . Jordan has an older brother who is currently hospitalized with strep, mono and bronchitis. The hospital is about a mile and a half from Jordan's school. So after dropping Jordan off she was heading to see her other son in the hospital..only a mile and a half away....within three blocks of the hospital she was killed. Another driver ran

Good And Bad
The Good I figured I would start with the good because well it's always better to start with good news right? I am an Aunty!!! My cousin who is closer then a sister finally had her baby girl (Lilly Nevaeh). I don't know all the details yet...just that she's 6lbs some ounces and she's healthy. My cousin had to have a C-Section but she's doing alright. The only downside to my good news is that since she lives in texas I won't be able to see her till July. The Bad I had a minor procedure done today so i'll most likely be laid up in bed the whole weekend...sucks huh? That's all details i'm getting into because the people that matter and need to know already do. Yes I have an attitude so if you don't like it go fuck yourself :)

The Good Husband
Jack wakes up with a huge hangover after attending his company's Christmas Party. Jack is not normally a drinker, but the drinks didn't taste like alcohol at all. As i was looking on the computer for my first formal posistions document I ran across a very raw and emotional letter from Master to myself. I will not post it here becuase it is very personal but i thought I would share a memory that it brought forward. This letter i mention was written 9/13/2005. It was written after I asked Master to release me from my submission. I was at a point I felt i was a failure as a slave and submissive and would never be what my Master desired me to be. I'm starting to realise more and more everyday that I proably have some of the most obsessive friends ever. Now maybe its just me but take a look at this from my stand point for a moment. Now I don't know if I'm just too kind or just too much of a suck up when I know I've been an asshole but I'm one of those guys who has little or no guy friends in real life and it seems to me that even if I try to be just friends with them, I get them liking me more then a friend. Now mind you that yes its more then likely my fault I understand that far for being such a natural flirt in the first place. Lately some of the girls I've dated have gotten extreamly jelous because of this and proably for good reason but I can't not be myself because then I wouldn't be me but then again I don't intently flirt especially when I know I have a girlfriend. I'd love for someone to give me some better advice then what I've been getting on how ot avoid this problem all together.

Ok so Tool my favorite band ever is having a presale on tickets today, but to get in on it you have to be a member of their fan club and membership cost 40 dollars. So yeah I paid to be their fan just so I could get in on presale tickets, but now they posted a message saying you must live within 100 miles of the venue. That is fucking bullshit.
