I met someone recently. He is a very nice guy, but he holds onto so many bad memories. I know it's difficult, but I know, too, that being negative can hurt ones friendship/relationships. No one wants to be around a person who is weak and cannot make a move to a positive level and strive to be on that path. I am there for him, I listen to him. But at one point in time, not long ago, I tried getting in touch with this friend to talk...but this time it was I who had something to say, and needed someone there for me....I could not reach him.. I felt so down... Then one day he calls me and said that I was harrassing him.
That was it. Harrassing him because I wanted to talk to him about my problem. I had no idea where the harrassing came from. To top it off...he tells me, "do you think i would share my problem(s) with anyone? who would give a F**K??" I said, "i care. I was there and listening. He tells me about his problem on several occasion...the same one...and I am there...always there to be a friend. Apparently, now I know who my friends are. It's sad...I reach out...and he pushes me away. So sad...
