Those of you that know me understand this situation. I am a former Catholic turned Witch. I married into a Christian family and my family of origin still practice the Catholic faith. Because of this situation occasionally my children do get exposed to church. They also get exposed to tarot cards and such. We have all had feelings on helplessness at least once in our lives. Mine decided to come today. I got a call from my best friend and there was so much emotion in her voice as she was telling me about a trip to her doctors office. I don't need to go into details. She's only 18, same age as i am. Laying in bed, two days after Thanksgiving, I get a phone call from my daughter, who is living in Alabama going to college. All I remember her saying is, "mom, Waynes dead". Wayne is my ex who I had left May 20th due to personal reasons. He was also my best friend and had been for many years. The night before he had gone out to meet a friend and hang out. Ok this really sucks. Here it is 3:05 in the morning and I really should be in bed but I'm not. Why you ask, because my back is killing me. It hurts all the way from my lower back to my shoulders and I can't get it to stop. I have taken everything I can think of to help that won't knock me on my ass. I have to be at work at 8 am. Ouch! Why won't this pain go away. I'm falling apart and I'm only 24. Is this some kind of punishment. I can't eat, I can't sleep. Nothing makes the pain go away. Stupid doctor vampires that take my blood and never give me answers. At first it was just diarrhea and vomit. Good old stomach flu that never went away. At the same time, check blood sugar. Want to make sure its not diabetes. Twelve hour fast...nada...nope I don't have diabetes!!! Yeah for me but still there's pain. Ok..draw blood for another test. Nope no ciliac sprue. Yeah I can eat what I want. Now the pain is worse. Go back to the doctor. They don't know whats wrong with me. When do they ever know! It's just a guessing game. Have to get an ultra sound...yet another 12 hour fast. No results yet. Where are they? Hey..doc says you have to go on a clear liquid diet. Just water, juice, jello, tea, and popsicles! A Painful Experience
Let me tell you what happen to me when I was 13. I was watering cotton here in the Rio Gand Valley of Texas when I notice a lot of the Texas Red Harvester Ants floating by in the ditch. Didn’t pay much attention to the ants I was busy keeping my water flowing down the mile long rows of cotton. I got stung on my legs by a couple of ants. No problem just brushed them off and went back to work. Today....I lost my brother. Fourty seven years old.....two years and 6 months after his own 21 year old son and my beloved nephew was killed in an accident. My pain is immeasurable. I just came to the realization that I am not living my life. I'm just existing. And that breaks my heart. It's also causing a lot of stress on other people. The pain of waxing!!!!! Poor women! *giggle* This is from a friend of mine that had me ROTFLMAO! It was one of those cold wax kits. No melting a clump of hot wax, you just rub the clear strips in your hand, peel them apart, press it on your leg (or wherever) and ignore the franticly rising cresendo of string instruments in the backround. So I have a stress fracture in my left foot my metatarsal bone, which is located above the tarsometatarsal joint and below the toe line. The pain today is not near as bad as yesterday. If you don’t know by now I recently had back surgery and it went great the dr said. The funny part is that I am in more pain now then I was before the surgery. Now my right leg has this shooting pain that goes all the way down to my foot. My leg is also numb it really does suck. To help the pain the dr gave me meds, but the said part is I am 23 and I am have to take 7 different kinds of meds. They have me taking 15 pills every 6 hours. Some of these pills are heavy narcotics like morphine. I am afraid that I will get hooked on the and it will be a pain in the ass to get off of them! And another thing is when I take all these pills I fill like I cant do much cause I fill weak and drain all the time. My days are just passing me by. The pain gets worse at night so I don’t sleep that much so I just lay in bed thinking! As you can tell from the subject of this blog, this is about friendship. It's about true friendship, and about how a true friendship can be blown to dust in a matter of few hours. I'll tell you my story now. Friday 24th april me and my band Painshock were playing a gig at a band competition at Emergenza Music Festival. We did incredibly well, winning the semi-final clearing our way into the finals by audience votes. After the gig we all retreived to our tour bus to celebrate our victorious performance, along side with other people we didn't even know that joined us. One of the unknown people asked me if he could take a beer from an open six-pack that was lying on the table. I had no clue who those beers belonged to, and I gave him the permission to take one. On Tuesday I am getting an Electrostimulator enplanted. This is a battery pack sending electicity to a nerve in my neck to stop pain in my hand. I am so tired of life being one stuggle after another, was I a baby killer in a past life? What did I do to deserve all the pain and hurt I have gone through all my life? This is probably the hardest blog I've ever written thus far, but with so many wonderful friends sending well wishes and the fact that I don't want to miss anyone who has sent them, I felt it needed to be done. As many of you know, my mother was taken on Monday, by ambulance, to the hospital. Her heart rate was over 300, her BP 275/180 and she couldn't breathe. After spending time with her both yesterday and today, and speaking with two of her doctors, I have some updated information. She was diagnosed with breast cancer about 12 years ago. After going through the required regimen of treatments and a radical mastectomy of one of her breasts, it went into remission for almost 7 years. Then about 4 years ago, the drs discovered that the breast cancer had metastasized to several areas of bone. Once again, she went through treatment and they declared she was once again in remission. I would like to say that I love my animals I have 5 dogs and 2 cats and they make me feel free, I was married of 19 yrs and my husband passed away..So now I have my dogs and cats and they give me peace... I will never marry again because I like my free space.. I am to set in my ways to be tied down again... Beside my dogs and cat don't fight with me or talk back to me... I can come and go has I feel and spend what I want... Boy life is fun to... I love to have a good time and enjoy laughing and a drink or two when I want it..Life is what you make of it... Okay this is my first Paris Hilton rant. . .on cherrytap. I have more on myspace but I feel that one is in order for aqui!! ("here" for those who don't understand) Ding dong the b. . .oh wait I will refrain from cussing. Anyways she went back to jail. Though her time spent in house arrest will be subtracted from her total days in prison. Why does this rich trollip get treated better than anyone else who has to serve their time? Wait I answered that!! Because she's rich. (By the way me calling her a trollip is my opinion and is based on many facts if you'd like me to explain my conclusion I'm more than happy to enlighten you.) I don't believe that Hilton will learn anything from her confinement but I do pray she will. By the by! We need to stop paying attention to her!!! written Jan/07 by Jo It is a wonderful night, the moon high in the sky and getting fuller. It is a little cold but certainly could be worse. The clouds are but wisps intermingled with the stars. Twinkling like sparkling diamond flakes splattered in the sky. I was alone in the park, I had been there most of the day enjoying the sunshine and reading a wonderful mystery full of intrigue. I watched as the kids played ball and genuinely had a great time. I remembered laughing at a couple that was walking through holding hands and looked to be enjoying a very good talk with one another. They seemed to be all alone just the two of them even though the park was teeming with people. I thought it would be nice to share moments like that with someone. As the day waned I sat on a bench and watched the sun go down. It was a beautiful sunset...the kind where most of the sky has a pinkish hue and then goes to orangish hues to a vibrant red/orange. Parkersburg Tornado
For those that live a ways away from me... over Memorial Day weekend...Sunday afternoon/evening to be exact, we had and EF5 tornado go through the town of Parkersburg. Parkersburg is about 40 minutes or so from where I live... I think I commented or posted a bulletin earlier about me riding my bike through hail that weekend....well that was the same storm that produced the tornado, fortunately our tent was out of its path. This storm popped up out of nowhere...I was home checking the dog and the radar for rain (as we were camping and I was on my bike) ...I didn't see anything...thought the sun was going to be out the rest of the day. The sun was out in Latimer and I drove 9 miles or less to our campground...by the time I got there the sky was dark and before too long it started to rain and hail...I was held up in a shelter house with my bike for 20 minutes or so before I made it back to Latimer...sun was out again and all was well. Parking Wars!!!
My Parking Dilemma all started when I moved to my current location # years ago. My house is in one of the “cool” neighborhoods and my street at the time allowed for 2 hour parking. This was a problem because anyone who lived on the street could not find parking and would be forced to carry their belonging half way up the block.

Parking lot stalkers I dont normally write these things but this has been bugging me for some time. I feel the need to vent. Parking lot stalkers!!!! These people really piss me off. True they are not really hurting anyone or doing anything wrong they still piss me off. They roll around the parking lot scanning the lot for a space to park. They wait for someone to walk to their vehicle and leave. They will stop and just wait till that space is vacant. The people getting in their cars now feel rushed cause this jerk off is just sitting there staring at them. Not to mention that they are holding up any others that are behind them. If you have a medical condition that requires you to need a close place then that is all well and good. But otherwise park and walk your lazy ass up to the store.
