My heart has been destroyed Its you I must learn to avoid You have made your choice and she will rejoice But it is I who will lose because its me you don't choose It is her you'll be with its no longer a myth to me you do not belong but my love for you remains strong I can no longer hide From these feelings inside The tears begin to fall I can't stop them at all Freely they flow I must let you go and begin to live anew in a life without you!

I tried to start anew But what has happened to you? You are suddenly gone When I wake to see the dawn You are still not here So I shed another tear So back up goes the wall No one can touch it all My heart is safely put away and will not see the light of day Behind those walls made of steel that help me to not feel.

When I start to forget It is a sure bet That you will call I can't talk to you at all I hear the phone ring My heart starts to sing But I can't answer that call Or I will surely fall I don't want to be this way But what can I say It is how it has to be Why can't you see The pain will reappear and its this that I fear.

I'm beginning to heal behind these walls made of steel. Locked back in its vault I know its not my fault You failed to see the beauty of you and me Now I have departed with a new life to get started.

I still love you so much how I yearn for your touch Never to be because you did not choose me Five long years it has been never to see you again. My heart still belongs to you but what am I to do?

The pain is real Its all I feel. These tears they fall I cannot stop them at all. Freely they flow Will they ever go? Can I forget and live without regret? This pain will disappear When I shed my last tear.
