My Last Fl Trip
Hiya all, just a few words about my last trip to florida :) got back home to sweden yesterday after spending 3 weeks in florida visiting friends over there. I spent most of the time driving around looking for a place to live for one of my friends there that was told by her landlord she had to move out before feb 5. Idrove about 2200 miles during this trip......lol I'm allready looking in to possible flights for my next trip......i just love florida and it's likely i'll move over there some day:)

Where's The Schizophrenia?
Hello All, I'm on my second glass of wine and I find my tongue loosened. I'm a 27 year old woman who was dxed with Paranoid Schizophrenia when I was 22. My illness probably started with depressive phases in my teens, but the Psychosis really hit when I was 20. I suffered serverly for the next two years with the realization and denial, multiple relapses. I finally got sick of the craziness around 22 or 23 and stayed on meds for good. Unfortunately that those meds made me gain 80 pounds and sedated me to the point of drinking 6-8 cups of coffee a day without it touching my inertia. On a somewhat good note over the summer, I stopped my antidepressants which the side effects were becoming worse than the helping properties, I promtly lost 30 lbs. so far. I found a new doc and went through another med change...which finally seems to be on the up swing...however, the over the holidays I was in the theroes of psychosis...slowly recovering now... Some Plans For The Year....
Well, my friends Billie and Jen were telling me today that I should look into YMCA sports for my four year old son, Jacob. Samantha is still too young so I will not probably put her into any sports until next year. So, thanks to me ex's fiance, I know that my son is actually interested in something like this. So, I called the YMCA today to find out more about their sports programs for 4 year olds and such. The lady over the phone told me that they are taking registrations for soccer teams now for the four year old bracket as well as all other ages. But they will stop taking registrations on Febuary 10th, however. found out that, for non members, it will cost $66 to register and members of the YMCA pay $33. Kind of a big jump from there. So I asked the lady how much for a family registration. She told me that there are two types...a regular family registration @ $57/month or a single family membership registration @ $47.50/month. I will look into something like that though...ot

System Back - More Info Laters...
Our joy is that CT is finally back up after a long delay. We have all been there with projects that were only supposed to last just a "little bit" (in this case a maximum of 4 hours... and lasted much, much, much more than anticipated. Was it really 12 hours that it was down?? Oh my. I was at work working on a project there where I didn't have access to my CT due to the nature of the work I was working upon - until I arrived home and saw my "system bulletin" message left for me by Mike: 2007-01-26 10:05:09 the last 12 hours is proof that jesus hates me. the site should be coming back, the maintenance was a cluster fuck.. will post more in my blog after i get some sleep. So far, I am not seeing anything major changing on the system -- do you??? However, I just signed back in so time will tell. Kindess
The compliment that I receive the most is that I am a kind person or that I am "so sweet". It's a nice compliment but actually quite shocking to me. I don't really feel like I go that far out of my way to be nice. If you are my true friend, you can be assured that I would give the shirt off my back or the last dollar in my purse. In general though, I would say I simply treat people with courtesy. I think the reason people are so shocked or impressed by it is it's lacking in society. They don't see the behaviour enough to realize that it's really the way we should all be acting. Little things like - Holding open a door for a woman that is pushing a stroller and juggling kids. Or helping someone that is shorter than me reach the item on the top shelf...simple little things that take mere seconds seem to be the exception and not the norm. Why? Hell I dunno. Because today, I received a letter stating that participation in the 6th grade fundraiser for graduation is essentially, mandatory and setting forth the "marching orders" for the children of the sixth grade class. According to your letter, either the parents "donate" $52.00 or the child is expected to sell candy bars. Frankly I object to this fundraiser on several levels and my daughter WILL NOT be participating. Neither will I "donate" $52.00. I have heard so much about this movie, it makes me wonder if its all just hype to get people to see the movie. I have heard couple of differant opinions about the rape scene. Social Expermentation 101
Ok so Blue Smoke and I were sitting in a stickam chat talking about all sorts of things like politics and shit. So then he notices that we had 10 lurkers watching so we came up with this social experiment. I told him that if he popped his shirt that I bet the pervs would actually come inside. So we gave it 10 minutes to get 5 of them in the room. So as we go along... we got to 4.5 minutes and we hit 5 people! You would think I had won my bet. I lost on a damn techinicality! Where Ive Been

Well...im having a bit of a depression spout....I just got offline with my mother {Yea i know my real mother, never thought i would talk to her again..}and found out some terrible news. She had been to the doctor and had test ran and after several years of her being in pain she found out that within a year she will become a paraplegic because she has degenerative disk disease in her neck and back... MY LONG STORY OF BEING STRANDED IN MONTAUK! LOL (its very interesting if you feel like reading the whole thing) Well for those of you who read my status before someone signed me off i went to montauk with my best friend ashley.. OMG was that the adventure of the year. She was suppose to go there to pick up her cousin who was coming back with us to connecticut. Well my lovely friend read her uncles message wrong and was suppose to leave at 7:30 in the morning the next day, not 7:30 at night (which was last night) SOOO first we missed the exit we had to get off so we had to turn around and go in a big ass circle, then when we got to montauk we went to her uncles house thinking her cousin was there.. WRONG! All the lights were off and no cars in the driveway. She called her uncle and he was like omg you were suppose to leave in the morning SO it all started there. Life Lessons, Self Esteem
I have learnt a lesson today - or at least, realised a few things I thought I already knew...and wonder, how on earth can i be so dim?? We know that we can create our own misery, our own self-fulfilling propehecies. It seems that I have done that myself. I can over analyse things. Go over things in my head. But surely It's easy to replace those thoughts with something positive? Whetehr it's work or relationship or social life - whatever. Think happy and you will be happy. Even if it's pretend at first. I will think that I am loved, then gradually, I will feel it. The only reason I don't is because I constant attention. If I reinforce the postives, then I don't need the constant attention. I will think postively - that work is going well, that I have a good life, that I have so many things to look forward to, so many good things in my life - and rather than just 'knowing it' I will start feeling it. Hating This
Just so you guys know I won't be on much after I get home from work. There was a transformer in my neighborhood (actually a few in Kenosha) that blew yest causing three power surges... AND eventhough I have all my electronics plugged into surge protectors... I lost a TV (2 yrs old), my computer fried (was bought on Dec. 28), microwave, and my fishie tank filter. Thankfully I have a back up TV and an amazing friend who has a back up computer (which is really old and slow and doesn't like to work sometimes) and microwave... just wanted to let you guys know... computer is still under warranty and will be fixed hopefully Fri when the guy comes to service it (power supply and motherboard fried)

School News
Well I finally finished the winter term today...Won't have all my final grades in till monday but I'm confident. The one grade I do have is my culinary nutrition class: 90.1% , what would have been a A before the grading scale change is now only a B. The certificetion test which was the final for nutrition had 80 questions and you had to get 60 right in order to get certified...I got 75 right out of 80! So now I am certified serve safe (means I'm a safe food handler) and I'm certified in nutrition (which means I know whats good for you!). I'll post more about the grades as I learn them

This Snow
Yup, I'm going on hour 56 now of being holed up in my apartment. It has finally stopped snowing, but I haven't heard a plow go by in days, and honestly, I just don't really care to leave. Class was canceled Thursday night, and I did leave once to make a trek on foot (only about 3-4 blocks) to the grocery store to get some chips and pizza and the like. Well, I had another weird dream this morning. I dreamed about babies being born with misshapen heads. What the *bleep*? Disk Trouble
ok, time to write more.. I have a new problem, my hard drive.. one that i just bought.. is crashing / acting evil.. I think I may have just lost many hours of work. In order to get that paycheck, I am required to pass a random urine test, with which I have no problem. What I do have a problem with is the distribution of my taxes to people who don't have to pass a urine test. The Star Trek crap got to be too much. I hate that show. As last heard, I went to my wedding Friday, and it was something else. My cousin is Catholic, so Friday during lent, no meat. No, I Don't Want To Do Your Work For You...
Wow. So that was a bad way to start off the morning and the week. I’m already sick of the boss and his wife being back. We have an ftp site at work for people to use if their art files are too large to send through email. It’s really easy to access from our end. Heck, I have the login and password save in my IE so all I have to remember is the site name and that’s bookmarked. It took all of 5 seconds to set that up. Everyone has the instruction sheet that has that information on it. I even made sure that the boss made an extra copy for himself the last time he asked me for the info. This morning he comes over and asks if anything was uploaded to the ftp site. I said yes, here’s the file name. He then looked at me expectantly and after a moment he asked me if I could go to the site and save them. I asked him if he lost the instructions and he said that no he still had them. WTF?!?!? Walking through the darkness, I began enjoying the pleasures of a late night walk more than usual. Embracing the peaceful bliss, something told me it was too good to be true.
