RESOLUTION OF A FOOL
… RAMBLING THOUGHTS …
Those who think in mortal terms,
view Love as a “bag of worms’,
a threat to worldly living,
… giving, giving, giving …,
a strain on the brain,
a drain in the main,
the SMART ones don’t marry!
… … … … … … … …
Yet, I intend to seek a wife,
who understands that LOVE is LIFE.
A person not afraid to live,
who’s free to take and free to give.
A person brave enough to face
The grueling struggle of the race,
But smart enough to share the strain
of trudging uphill in the rain.
… … And yet I still recall the smile,
Of one who ran near for a while;
Who took my hand, then let it fall,
OH GOD, I loved her most of all!
