Love is what I feel for you,
a warm glowing feeling
through an through.
Some say that love won’t hurt,
But, I say they’re wrong.
It can hurt for quite a while
and it sure can take away my smile,
but this is a one sided love,
it’s perhaps a selfish love,
one that makes me cry at night
all for the love of the one
that don’t treat me right.
I think it is because you are scared to love,
maybe because once you were hurt,
but don’t judge us all by the past you once had.
I really don’t know what I should do,
cry and be sad?
Stay and wait till you are ready. . .
Will it all be good if we try it slow and steady?
I thought you and I were perfect
But I guess I was wrong
'cause people always leave....
