Moving This Weekend!
The Joys of Moving (Part 1) The only part of moving that is fun is the end result! I am only moving about 6 miles closer to the beach (WHOO HOO!) but it is still pretty intense! Oh, nothing like the move from Michigan here last year....but still stressful! The first hiccup was yesterday-- got a call at work from the leasing mgr saying the apt that they told me was going to be mine, wasn't ready! Yes, a whole day before I am scheduled to move in... They WILL make it right today. Either a bigger apt for the same $$ or a comparable one at the same rate. Beer Can Turkey
1 (9 to 10 pound) whole turkey, thawed or fresh 2 teaspoons dry mustard 2 teaspoons granulated onion 2 teaspoons paprika 2 teaspoons kosher salt 1 teaspoon granulated garlic 1 teaspoon ground coriander 1 teaspoon ground cumin 1 teaspoon freshly ground black pepper 1/4 cup canola oil 12 to 24 ounces beer 1. Remove giblets, neck and any excess fat from turkey. Rinse with cold water; drain well. 2. In a small bowl combine spices, herbs and seasonings. 3. Meanwhile, preheat gas grill with all burners on high or build a charcoal fire. Reduce heat to Indirect Medium heat (about 350ºF) or position gray-ashed briquettes on either side of an aluminum drip pan. Pour beer inside turkey sitter and set aside. 4. What A Day....
So... today at work... I was moving a pallet with the hilo and lucky me... the pallet caught along one of the wire shelving parts and made a grinding noise.. I slammed on the breaks... I heard a creaking sound growing louder and louder... The bottom legs of the cross section gave way under the weight of all the pallets on the top shelf and came tumbling down on top of me... Luckily I did not get hurt, but god that scared the shit out of me completely.. Having lots of steel beams and wire racking along with wooden pallets and their contents coming straight towards you is not very fun. In fact it makes you think oh my fucking god this thing is going to kill me.. And of course I worry about losing my job because of the loss of property/product... Back in September my ex-husband accused my husband of molesting my 5 year old daughter. My ex was awarded temporary physical custody and ordered to let me have "frequent" vists with her. Well, after almost 6 weeks, my husband was cleared by CYS and I have gotten my poart of the orginal 50/50 custody back. They have determined that the stories were false, and have suggested psycological help for my little girl. Obvious to me, how else is a 5 year old going to recover from that sort of brainwashing? Our Grandbaby Was A Boy
Passed away shortly after his birth. Our son and Daughter in law laid our grandchild to rest the week before Thanksgiving. they named him after my hubby. there will be more children and we will be waiting on them to arrive so we can spoil them rotten then send home to their parents.

My Mistakes!
I've made my fair share of mistakes in my life. Now recently I made some mistakes that are completely unprecedented for me. I'm trying to do everything I can to make things right. Even if things don't work out the way I hope they do, I certainly hope the person that I betrayed with these mistakes can realize that I really care very strongly about them. From My Old Journal
i found an old journal i kept back in 1999 when i was in tokyo. Generaly i have a pretty good memory, but as i read them, i relized some of the things i worte, i dont remember at all, its funny. My heart is breaking and theres nothing i can do about it. It hurts and its sad. i am a certified nurses aid...i do both home care, private duty and nursing home... lending a simple helping hand to an elder of mine... compassion at a basic level... the simpelist of love given freely... i sit and listen to their lifes adventures... some i admire... some i feel sorry for... i realize i dont want to be one who walks around saying i wish i did this and i wish i did that.... i will...am...and shall alwyas be a person who says I DID THAT!!!!

3 Years Today
Its April 14th and it has been 3 years since my brother was killed in a car accident. People think the passage of time makes it easier, but it doesnt. I just returned home frome the cementary where I was visiting, and I cried because I miss him. My brother, Shawn, was only 25 years old when he passed on. If ever there was a person that you could count on it was him. I like to write about him because I dont ever want to forget him. I try to take a lot of his ideals and apply them to my life today. The biggest one that I found the most important is to make time for the people in your life. In the past I have been supportive even when I questioned the direction some of my friends were taking themselves down. Some got lost in drugs and alcohol, others a more personal fight within them. If Only It Was That Easy...
It's funny how you can be so disgusted with someone but still love them with the little pieces of your heart. No, I'm not talking about the loser who abused me. Dance Recital
Tonight was a special night for me. One I dreaded actually, as I have been a MOM a long time and was really getting tired of the concerts, plays, dance recitals, etc....but tonight was an eye opener for me. You see, my oldest daughter, is now 19. She started taking dance at about age 7 and by age 9 was performing solos at recitals. She's a natural, an awesome dancer, and I am not being prejudice...the town talks about her. Anyway, last year, she went off to college, wasn't going to dance anymore....her instructor begged her to stay and teach a couple of classes, earn some extra money and still perform as well. It worked out well....you see, tonight I was not only sitting there in awe of my own daughter's talent, I watched the 15-20 other younger girls who my daughter TAUGHT and choreographed for the past 8 months. It was a beautiful program and I am very proud of my daughter......here is a small portion of what I watched tonight.........enjoy!

As I type this through heavy tears and a ravaged heart I needed to let those of you that dont already know that Valerie and I lost our babycakes, our angel Nathaniel. Tuesday as Val was picking him up from daycare it was discovered he had a fever and went into a febral seizure. The EMT responded, resuscitated him and kept him stable. As he was in ICU he was gradually prrogressing day-by-day. We were given hope of "when he would get out of the hospital" not "if"... Our nightmare that we had belived would never be true came to reality on Thursday when a CAT scan showed brain swelling due to potential lack of oxygen sometime durring cardiac arrest on Tuesday. The swelling did not subside and as of yesterday he was declared brain dead and a time of death was called. I am heartbroken, numb, horrified, scared, angry, disbelieving and I want sooo badly to be with him again walking, talking, dancing and all those things I now wish I hadn't taken for granted. Crikey the sand was hot and almost melted my jelly shoes. I know they are not very smart but my wonderful, indestructable, life-time guaranteed Kolhapur slippers, made from genuine Indian leather, decided to break whilst I was walking to a supermarket. Is the shoutbox reserved for "hello", "how are you?" or my favorite "do u you want see me naked?" I use the shout box because I feel it is more personal than me trying to find some sexy graphic, which are cheesy might add. For those that I have sayed thanks to via the shoutbox....i apologize if I offended you. Call me crazy but when I request a friendship add, I mean just that...nothing more. I enjoy talking to people, didnt think there was anything wrong with that. I dont add a person to cam (which i dont own), talk disrespectful to or " hook up".
