another growing up story My parent had gone out of town for a few weeks leaving all 6 of us girls alone. We behaved for the most part however one night we all got super goofy and were chasing each other around the house. How can I feel like my life is falling apart at the seams? Last year at this time, my life was incredible. I was in Germany with the man I love, granted I was to be coming back to the states mid-may. But at that time, coming back to the states, I knew there were intentions on me going back there at about the three month mark. This time I have been back in the states since the end of Nov. Today I have come in to rate some photos for the friends on my lists..randomly and have gotten to visit with a couple of them as well. I have my favorites as I am sure others do as well. Well, the end is here. My kids graduate tonight! It's been a long road and they have grown so much before my very eyes. Physically, emotionally and best of all, they have learned to question things and respond in a mature way. I had my doubts with some of them, but they turned into great students. I loved listening to their discussions in science. I really believe several will stick with it and they will become scientists or even physicians. (We can take our MCATs together....LOL!!) Their minds were like dry earth, soaking up the knowledge.(I still couldn't stop the giggling when we talked of the solar system and the planet Uranus. I remember snickering about that too!) I don't know if I post this for my friends and family to keep informed or I keep this up to somehow help myself. I know alot of people don't even read this blog. That's fine. Maybe I just need to do this to get it out of me. If I don't then at times I feel I would go nuts. As most of you know my grandfather has been in the hospital. In the past 3 weeks he was sent to another hospital and they preformed heart surgery on him. I have been at this hospital either sleeping in the waiting room or at a hotel room across the street from the hospital. He had the surgery and while on the table his heart stopped soon as they put him to sleep. They had to thump his heart back pumping again. They fixed what they needed to in his heart but left his chest open cause of fluid and pressure on his heart. So basically they put some to plug the space between his open chest and the air and bandaged him up. They docs came up and told us all that had gone on and that it was touch and go if he would survive

I recently took a trip with my 76yr old mother to Wisconsin and Chicago. We visited my 95 and 90 yr old Great aunts. It is the last time she will see them before they are gone. I've always loved bars or clubs but this place was my favourite. The music was good and the way the lights danced around the floor was mesmerizing. I must say the guys that went here were hot. My son has gotten a contract to rum AMA motocross and although I'm happy for him..I'm also concerned about his safety. He's good but that won't stop the injuries that I know he will face. In the sport it's not if you get hurt but when and how bad. No matter what happens I support him. He's getting to live his dream... doing what he loves and getting paid for it. 2 More Weeks
I fought a cold this weekend, and on Monday, it wiped me out. I worked in the morning, came home by noon, and slept pretty much til 7. I know part of my recovery woes is the lack of quality rest. If I get 4 straight hours of sleep, its a miracle. I've resorted to sleeping half the night on the living room floor, my legs on top of the seat of the recliner, taking pressure off of my hips. But the lack of/sporadic sleep and the constant pain are taking its toll mentally, because I find myself more and more depressed. So I'm to the point that I force myself to eat, because I just don't feel like it. I find chores that I can do that I can move around, or stand, so that I just don't lay around and lose strength. I hate to admit it though, work wipes me out. After a day of work, and the pain involved, it drains me. So, pretty much business as usual.

The Day I Felt Old
So I watched the VMAs on Mtv a couple weeks ago..I couldn't wait for the show to come on. After watching a 1/2hr of the red carpet stuff it occured to me that I might be getting old. I watched 30 minutes of Nickelodeon and Disney stars that were highlights of the show??!!??!! It was a tween nightmare.. 2008 Bathurst 1000

Still Under The Weather :(
LOL OK I know this doesn't quite fit the weather category. But I have been feeling under the weather the past week trying to get over this bronchial/cold crap. Lots To Be Thankful For

I Am So Not Decorating This Year
I have decided again for the second year in a row that I am not putting up a christmas tree. I always celebrate christmas at my parents home and at my father's sisters home. I know I know some of you are probably thinking about the fact that I have a little guy and should put the tree up for him, but he's 2 people all he's gonna do is destroy it or knock it over about 100 times or try to eat things off of it. The last time I put was the year that I had my son and I only did it because my younger brother,who lived with me at the time and is obsessed with christmas, insisted that we put up a tree. Needless to say with all the hustle and bustle of being thrown into the job of being a single mother my tree was up until well after Easter that year. So some of you may thinkn that I am a Grinch but NO TREE. My son and I will enjoy the tree decorating on the 23rd with my mother, my brother, his wife and daughter so he's not missing out on anything except taking it down.

Okay, so I just finished this book today by Ellen Hopkins. It's called Burned. I also read Impulse by her. And they are really DEPRESSING. I just about cried at the ending but of course that would be stupid. Right? but maybe it was just written well enough that I felt connected with the main character. I've never heard such I sad story. Not even in her other book Impulse. I would love to talk to someone who has also read it. Has anyone read it? The ending bugs me because its the kind that leaves you to guess or make your own decision to what happened. AND I THINK SHE JUMPED or FELL(idk if was enthusiastic enough for a jump). so basically if you haven't read it, read it and talk to me about it. It's an easy read because its written in poetry but not what you would expect it to be like, just sentences in rhythm.
