And just think, you probably
came here to escape television!
Welcome - Kick your shoes off and
I'll leave you the remote to click
to whatever you care to view ...
*looks around*
Anyone left?
Television certainly changed -
The quality of the sets is phenomenal
compared to those black & white
I viewed growing up.
As is the shows and channels
We had TWO channels and sometimes 3
(when the antenna was receiving the third)
But I think the biggest change about TV is:
It's no longer a family event ...
I grew up waiting for Saturday Morning
just to watch those toons ... until noon,
Then that when the games or movies started.
Every Sunday evening was the big family event ...
"Wonderful World of Disney" Sunday evening Movie.
Yeah, mom would make hot buttered popcorn
(on the stove, not in a microwave either)
We'd squeeze up on the couch, lights off
popcorn & koolaid and have the big event.
Funny how things change - aint it?
So, I've had my moment of pleasantry and
now it's time to get to the meat of the matter ...
The subject to ponder and my daily thought provoking ...
If your life was a TV show . . .
What would it be?
A comedy
Drama
Dramedy
Reality TV
Gossip show
Me, Lately I think I'd fall into
network reality show like: "Survivor"
I mean I feel as those sometime its
too fictional for even a fantasy flick.
And too unreal to be real, but too real?
(ugh)
I'm starting to wish I'd get
kicked off The Island -
Then I could go back to the real world ...
How about You?
What show most resembles your life
or a combination of shows?
What would they call it?
Todays comment was part remake/part new.
I found the 'Slide' of my original graphic I created.
and used in a couple different forms or layouts
I added the "on top of" the TV photo's
of all my regular comment exchanging friends.
I'm always afraid when I do something like that,
That I'll forget to add someone and hurt their feelings.
But lately I cant exchange with a whole
lot of people so it made it a lot easier.
Going back to 'slide.com' I see they
added a lot of neat new gadgets,
so if you ever wanna play around
I recommend that sight - tonz of fun!
Well, Here's my latest yet oldie
but goodie comment ...
I hope you enjoyed it, As always
I enjoy making them for YOU!
