Chasing The Next Chapters.
In a previous blog, I stated that I am an "open book." That, I am. Ask me anything. I have done some things in my 49 years of life that could send me straight to the proverbial hell. Buffalo Chicken Salad
2 hearts romaine lettuce, chopped 1 cup shredded carrots, available in pouches 2 ribs celery with greens, chopped 1/2 cup ranch dressing 1/2 cup blue cheese crumbles 1 package, 3/4 to 1 pound, chicken tenders, cut into bite size pieces 1 tablespoon vegetable oil, 1 turn of the pan 2 tablespoons butter Salt and black pepper 1/4 cup hot sauce Preheat a skillet over medium-high heat. Combine lettuce, carrots and celery in a salad bowl. Combine ranch dressing and blue cheese crumbles in a small bowl. Add oil and butter to hot pan with the chicken. Season with salt and pepper and sear for 2 or 3 minutes, then add hot sauce. Reduce heat a little and cook 5 minutes more. Toss salad with dressing and season with salt and pepper. Top salad with Buffalo chicken and serve.

i listened to the voters on my mumm last night and did NOT go to denny's. Level 58
Wow, I didn't think I could do it but I've hit level 58 and am off to the outlands. In theory I should have hit level 60 by labor day, but I've not even been playing for a year and I'm still doing good. Then after the glory of hitting level 58 with my undead warrior, Olisena, I log in this morning and in 3 kills I hit level 37 with my blood elf hunter, so I rejoice in that for a few and log my banker, and I've made 21 gold in the auction house, which will be needed since I need 90 gold for my hunters mount at 40 and oh... 600 gold for my epic mount for my warrior at 60. Cool!

Monday Went Well
With all the meetings I had yesterday I must say that the report I had to make to the city council here was the best. All I had to do was stand before the mayor and city council and read this report I prepared on what was happening with my organization and how it was impacting the city in a positive manner. As I finished the audience in attendance as well as the city council applauded. It felt good. Now I have another meeting to attend this morning at 8 am at a restaurant and another one immediately after that at an attorney office to plan another meeting for January... it never ends.

This probably happens to more people than I am aware of, but it sure seems like I am the only one right now. One of my cars broke down, so I was talking to my wife about looking for a truck. The thing with the truck is that we were planning on getting one next year around the summer time. This was all good when we had 2 cars that ran. The one that broke down is a '93. So I went looking at trucks and found one that I liked. Talked to the sales owner to make sure that I would be approved for it. I got approved, and told the sales owner that I would talk to my wife, let her see the truck, and we would let him know. I told my wife what I had found, and all the details about the truck. Another Satisfying Football Weekend
Well it's 5 pm on Sunday. I've had a really good weekend, watching my Packers win their game earlier over the Panthers, pushing their record to 9-1. I am looking forward to their next two games. My Niece
Holidays are suppose to be a happy time. We all imagine sitting around the table,feeling cozy and warm at mom's house. And my holidays was happy. Until today, the phone rang. I felt the bad vibe in my gut. I didn't want to answer this phone call. "Tonya", my mom said on the other end. Immediately, I knew something was wrong and that is exactly what I asked. My two year old niece went home yesterday. My brother dropped her off at her mother's house. Her mother put her in the bathtub and went to attend other business. Other business with a two year old in the bathtub?? What sense does that make? Why would anyone leave their child in the bathtub, alone. My niece drown. She is alive due to CPR but is now on life support. They are not sure whether she will make it or not. All I can do is feel the pain my brother is feeling. Soooo Current mood: So freakin Hurt What do you do when a really good friend who you love with all your heart, can't find time for you, can't give you the simplest thing in life. Shortbread Cookies
RECIPE INGREDIENTS: 2 cups all-purpose flour 1 cup butter, softened 1/2 cup confectioners' sugar 1 1/2 tsp. vanilla extract 1. Preheat the oven to 350 degrees. In a medium-sized bowl, mix all the ingredients with your fingers until the dough is smooth and holds together. 2. Divide the dough in half. Press each half into an ungreased 8-inch round cake pan (be sure to spread the dough evenly and smooth out the top). Using a fork to make a decorative border around the edges. Use a sharp knife (parents only) to cut the shortbread into eight wedges. 3. Bake for 20 minutes, or until the edges begin to lightly brown. 4. Remove the shortbread from the oven and immediately recut the eight wedges with a sharp knife. Cool in the pan for 30 minutes, then transfer to a wire rack to cool thoroughly. Makes 16 pieces.

The Beast
I'm sitting here watching out my sliding glass door waiting for birds to come along so I can take pics of them. I put a cooler out there with beer in it, I think just to feel human. You see in my family even in the summer beer is usually kept in a cooler. I don't drink that much, but my dad, my sisters, and my brother-in-laws go through a few cases of Milwaukee's Best Light on weekends. There's no way they could put it in the fridge - there would be no room for food and the fridge just could not keep cool all with the traffic. So like typical West Virginians they keep a few cases on the porch in weather like this. Me, I'll have a six pack of somehting with a little more taste in a cooler. It's funny, but I really do think it's one of life's finest simple pleasures, to stick your hand out the door and grab an icy beer out of the snow.

Last night I was cleaning out my closet getting rid of old shoes and laughed b/c I realized that I was "fall" cleaning my life as well as my closet. I've recently ended things with the man whom I thought I would spend the rest of my life with. We were together for almost 5 years. Yes, we were married, but, it all came down to that simple fact: I can not be in a non-relationship relationship with someone for a prolonged period of time. I can't share hopes and dreams, talk about childhoods, whisper sweet nothings, share myself with someone who doesn't love me. It doesn't make sense to me, and frankly, I hope it never does. Yesterday I finished the first chapter of the novel(for which I still haven't decided on a title). This is the furthest I've ever gotten into a novel attempt, so I'm very happy. Hospital Appointment
Today I have been given an appointment to attend the Neurophysiology Department at Newcastle General Hospital for my nerve conduction studies. I will be attending on Tuesday 22nd January at 2:30pm. I have been told that the tests will last for around one hour. The EMG tests, study how well muscles and nerves are functioning. Small electric pulses are used to study the nerves, if muscles need to be examined, then a fine needle is used. Hopefully for me these tests will be conclusive and then I can have surgery if this is required. The sooner my life is back to normal and pain free the better.

Man Accused Of Throwing Child Onto Freeway Arrested
HONOLULU -- Honolulu police said they are investigating the death of a baby on the H-1 Freeway. Witnesses said that they saw a man throw the infant from the Miller Street pedestrian overpass, but police said they are not sure if the child was alive or dead when the man threw the child. Just in from the shoot with Julie Simone. We shot something like 9 clips before getting too tired. In 1 week Julie moves to Missouri so we have a few clips we will be shooting in the next week, right before she moves away. She'll be back fairly often, and we plan to shoot the Gwen Media stuff in April, when she visits. The shoot today and the last day we shot together, were both really easy going. It was just hanging out and chit chatting, but not permitting it to delay production. We started shooting at around 8:30 or 9, took a dinner break around 10:45, and went out to Thai food before returning to shoot and were done before 1a.m. So we really managed to get a lot done in a short amount of time. I'm excited! Now the camera whore in Me is about to get a double dose with being on the Dr. Susan Block Show tomorrow night (it's actually tonight, due to it being almost 2 a.m.)

Sick
I'm going on being sick for 4 days now. So naturally I've had a lot of free time to sit around and check out fubar, do online shopping, play a few new games, and oh yeah, blog! Glazed Meatloaf Ii
INGREDIENTS * 1/2 cup ketchup * 1/3 cup brown sugar * 1 tablespoon lemon juice * 1 teaspoon dry mustard * * 2 pounds lean ground beef * 3 slices bread, shredded * 1/4 cup diced onion * 1 egg, beaten * 1 cube beef bouillon, crumbled * 3 tablespoons lemon juice DIRECTIONS 1. Preheat oven to 350 degrees F (175 degrees C). 2. In a small bowl, combine ketchup, brown sugar, 1 tablespoon lemon juice and dry mustard until smooth. 3. In a large bowl, combine ground beef, shredded bread, onion, egg, bouillon, 3 tablespoons lemon juice, and 1/3 cup of the ketchup mixture until well mixed. Form into a loaf and place in a 9x5 inch loaf pan. 4. Bake 1 hour. Pour off fat. Pour reserved ketchup mixture over loaf. Bake 10 minutes more

Plant Food Diet?????
Especially with direct attention to Vegan/Vegetarian Divas :D Recently I have been to the doctors and they have done the works of medical tests on me during the past couple of weeks. What they have found is that I am in perfect health, but my thyroid is very low. As such, he has recommended that I go on an all plant diet, which also means that I can have a lot of nuts as well. I teased him a bit and told him that I have had plenty of nuts in my lifetime, thank you very much! Lol... ;) All joking aside, I am to have soy milk and plant food for a while, along with some stuff that he is special ordering for me. Vegetable soups I can hang with; I know how to do that very well. I just need some ideas for a little creativity without getting too vegetarian, if you know what I mean (tofu, barley, etc. -- I am just not ready for all that!). Victor Denson, 44, of Sandhill Circle, is charged with two felony counts of sexual assault, one felony count of child molestation and one misdemeanor count of exhibiting porn to a minor, according to a police news release. Investigators with the Bibb County Board of Education police contacted Macon police investigators Feb. 13 after a student came forward with the allegations, Hofmann said. Blind Guitarist Jeff Healey Dies At 41
TORONTO - Blind rock and jazz musician Jeff Healey has died after a lifelong battle against cancer. He was 41. Healey died Sunday evening in a Toronto hospital, said bandmate Colin Bray, who was in the room with Healey's family when the guitarist died. Blah Blah Blah And More Damn Blah
Thanks for all the emails and message from those of you who care. As always they mean a lot. Snapple is doing much better. Her anal gland was abscessed and she had to have some minor surgery but she is slowly getting back to her normal wild self. She goes back next week for her check up and we'll see if she has to have the glands removed or not. I think she will be fine for now. Just a word of advice...if you have dogs, and are not familiar with the anal glands (I certainly was clueless about them), please do some research on them so that you can be sure your pet doesn't go through what Snapple did, because she was a VERY sick baby girl. As for me....well I went Wednesday back to the ear, nose and throat specialist and had my cat scan done. This was done to see exactly what all how to be done to my sinus canals and ears to stop all of the infections. Without going into detail (I just prefer not to at this time), the cat scan did not show good results and they cannot perform any type

Final Packing And The Move
I will barely be online if at all for the next week or two. At the moment I don't even know if the deal is going thru. I barely sold anything in moving sale so am going to need the time to list and pack up all the stuff I'm donating and the stuff I'm taking for a future rummage sale. My Grandma Died This Morning 3-24-08
A brief history: My grandpa passed away when I was 15. My mom passed away when I was 19 of breast cancer. So all that was left was my grandma who was always strong as an ox mentally and physically. But about 4 years ago the old age finally started to win and she came down with Alzheimer's and dementia. So she had to go into a nursing home. Me and my sisters are her closest living relatives but because they have lived in Cali these past few years I took on the responsibility's of being Power Of Attorney for her. Anyways besides the dementia we found out she had level 4 cancer all over her body. When just 6 months ago she had no cancer. But I guess at 87 if it hits...it hits hard. Chemo would kill her just as fast as the cancer so its one of those things where u get Hospice and let her be. So it finally happened this morning. It is sad but I see it as a good thing. Even before the cancer she was a vegetable. Im glad she no longer trapped in that body. My sisters got

Day #3
I Smoked yesterday, Day #2 in FAR Worse than #1 craving wise. Rather than a roller coatser of craving it is one insesant dull ache of a craving, and when sitting idle at the bus stop waiting to go to work, with what felt like the whole world smoking around me I buckled. While In The Hospital...
While I was in the hospital looking for my girlfriend's room, I encountered a group of people I knew clustered around a room on the CCU floor...people who'd known me all my life, from the days when I used to go to church with my family... Unfortunately, my old best girl friend's grandma, 83 years old, was in a room 3 doors down from my girl friend's, and was dying. It was nice to see my old friend's family, but a sad occasion to be seeing them on. I'm so exhausted... *sigh*

Thoughts About My Family
My Four Leaf Clover People say that a four leaf clover is good luck. For 24 years I’ve been searching for my four leaf clover and never found it. I’d look in clover patches every time I saw one, and when no four leaf clover was found I thought my life would never have good luck. Then one day I met my husband and my stepson. As I sit here on March 29, 2008 I have realized that my four leaf clover is not a plant that can be found in a patch but my loving wonderful family.
