Forever I longed for a soul mate
As time was catching me I knew it was to late.
I remember staring at star filled nights,
Whispering prayers at every sight.
Hoping someday I would find that one person,
Day by day my life begin to worsen.
I wish there was someone just for me,
Spiraling downward, I could not see.
I would imagine us laughing at silly things,
Like our childhood, our past and our names.
Sharing tears over sad things,
And crying over all of our pains.
Our love is passionately and totally,
Like a beautiful rose becoming holy.
I begin to think my dream was just a dream,
Forever and forever it seemed.
Then I met you, and all my dreams came true.
