A recent letter to the editor titled "When did North Face jackets become Towson's official uniform?" got me thinking about some of the groupthink on-campus trends I've noticed this winter. Now that group play is over it is now time for the Round of 16. Uruguay/South Korea----I'm going with Uruguay. They appeared to have played strong. Still can't figure out why they had a 0-0 draw with France. South Korea played well in group play, but I don't think they have the talent to stop Uruguay. Cancer Sucks
I got a note today that one of my cousins is partaking in the Breast Cancer walk in October. Her mother had it many, many years ago and was a survivor for many years as well. My aunt, who was quite large, would say she just had some "stuffing" removed. LOL As I continued reading her note, I got sick to my stomach. COLD!!! — Friday, 15 September 2006 I hate the cold. I been staying away from it for so long, I'm really not uste to it at all. Utah, the joys of the chilled air... I broke down last night and I want to thank everyone who helped me through it. I'm not naming names cause you know who you are. Thanks for being there for me and sorry you had to witness it. Serious As A Heart Attack
Two or three months ago, I ended up in the emergency room at the local hospital. I'd been suffering for a while with shortness of breath, tiredness and a tight, painful feeling in my chest and it had got to a point where Kris insisted that I go to the local clinic to get checked out. I figured that I'd go this time (she'd been on about it for a while) if only to keep her happy, so off we drive to the "walk-in centre". After some discussion they hook me up with a dozen electronic pads and do a trace of my ECG. The nurse disappears for quite a while then comes back to say they want to check it again. They do it again and she disappears for a while again. Next thing I know, she's packing me off to the emergency room as they have "some concern" about my trace. Kris isn't happy at all as we go to the nearby hospital where they are "expecting" me and we are made to sit around for 2 hours before someone actually sees me. I find it confusing when you ask someone how they're feeling and they say fine, but they act like they want to say something else. Or when you ask what's wrong they say nothing but seem to cut them selves off from the world. I don't understand some peoples emotions and their showing them sometimes. Cranberry-blueberry Pie à La Mode

Oct. 11, 1996 7:00 am i arrived at work, my wife was still in bed when i had left cause for the first time in her 9 months and 2 weeks of pregence she had morning sicness, well at about 7:30 i get a call from her say "I need you to come home, i think im having contractions".
