My Life
So this last year has been so damn crazy. I have grown so much as a person and a mother. You never realize the things that are most important till one day they walk up and kinda smack you in the face. You think everything is ok and in reality it isn't. Life takes a load of work to make it through. I am jsut glad to say that the stress I have been through has all worked out. I am glad that I have grown adn I am a better person for it. I love my children and my life and will continue to live my crazy life to its fullest cause you never know when something abd will happen or when this crazy life will end.

I Hate Little Towns!
OK...explain this one to me! Back in December of 07 I believe it was...I had a speeding ticket and had to go to court. It was cancelled because of the snow we had. Well the little town I had the ticket in put me in as not appearing to court. Which has caused me nothing but problems. Hence tonite. Got pulled over by Ohio State Patrol. Why? For a freakin license plate light blown out! So while he is doing this shit, come to find out that my license is suspended because of this mess. Sooooooooo I couldnt drive my car to work...had to call a cab. Spent 6 bucks on getting a cab to work. Called Michael and I have a ride home. But getting to work is going to be a challenge Saturday nite. I guess I am walking. So I get to work all stressed out...and I get an emergency phone call for a supervisor here. I just read a comment on my ex-boyfriend's comment section of his MySpace page saying that a friend was glad he was doing well after our break up. Broke My Ankle
I slipped sunday and broke my ankle in 2 places. Not many of my friends noticed I was gone! **hugs** Kristy! (and angela is pretending she noticed!) lol.. i love u angela! I can't go go to work or anything else for at least 7 weeks! 2/6/08... update! I had to get recasted yesterday because the cast rubbed a raw spot! and so it has more padding.. but its a tighter cast! definitely not that great! especially since i can't even afford to get my prescription filled! and last night it was hurting worse then when i broke it! I have another appointment on the 12th.. for more xrays.. he hopes it won't need surgery! i am not allowed to put any weight on it at all!

Not Doing Good
Ok this is what is up and why I wont be on for a couple of days...On May 29th I was in the ER with major pains in my left side near my lung and kidney, I was diagnosed with Pleurisy which is an infection in the lining around my lung causing it to be really hard to breath without pain, Ive been put on pain killers and lots of rest. BUT of course it doesnt stop there! In the mix of all this I got a sunburn on top of a sunburn causing me to get sun poisoning. So right now Im drained, sore, having constant chills and have next to no energy. So my plans for the next couple of days are my ass being on my couch under a warm comfy blanket, watching movies and not doing a damn thing. Lola, who has always been healthy as can be for the most part, happy, playful, and content (and who got clean bill of health at my former vet, dammit!) was diagnosed w/ end-stage renal failure this morning. basically, her kidneys are destroyed and meaningless meat hanging suspended in her body. i thought she was merely a bit dehydrated, and stayed up w/ her all night, giving her Pedialyte every hour. i took a nap cuz i hadn't slept, and just got up, and of course i dreamed bad stuff. she's in the top 3 sweetest cats i've ever met (and i've met a lot of felines -- human bitches excluded;p). poor little thing. they're keeping her 3 days to flush out the kidneys. if the kidneys respond to the dialysis, she'll come home and have around a few months to a year to live, with proper care. if not, i am going to put her at rest tuesday. :( i've had pets die, of course, but never had to put one down. but it's the right thing to do for her. selfish not to.

I thought that my mom had gone crazy. My godson/cousin called to tell me that he had proposed to his girlfriend. At the time, I was with my mom, taking my youngest back to his mom's. For the past few months, I realized something. Now, for some of you that know me well, happen to like music a lot. Ever since as far as I can remember, say, first hearing The Beatles when I was about four years old, I seem to have been hooked on with music. I taught myself how to play guitar when I was in high school, and along with that the bass guitar and little bit of keyboard work. My music taste ranged from classic rock through grade school and junior high, heavy metal in junior high through the end of high school, and alternative rock all through high school and into today. I went to the post office this morning to buy a roll of stamps. For whatever reason, I had it in my head that stamps were 47 cents. (Don't ask me! LOL) So, the clerk tells me it's $42.00. Appetizer Cheesecake
Appetizer Cheesecake 1/2 cup fine dry bread crumbs 1 tablespoon butter or margarine. melted 1 6-ounce jar artichoke hearts 3 8-ounce packages cream cheese, softened 1 1/4 cups crumbled feta cheese (5 ounces) 1/2 teaspoon dried oregano, crushed 1 clove garlic, minced 3 eggs 1/4 cup sliced green onion, (2) assorted crackers, toasted baguette slices, and/or fresh fruit(optional) For crust, combine bread crumbs and melted butter, Press the crumb mixture into the bottom of a 9-inch springform pan; set aside. Drain and chop artichoke hearts, reserving 2 tablespoons of the marinade, set aside. Beat cream cheese with an electric mixer until smooth. Add feta cheese, oregano, and garlic; beat well. Add eggs; beat just until combined. Do not overbeat. Stir in artichoke hearts, reserved marinade, and green onions. Pour into crust. Bake in 325 degree oven about 35 minutes or until center appears nearly set when shaken. Cool on a wire rack 30 minutes. Cover, chill at least 2 hours o

Caesar Salad 1 clove garlic, cut in half 2 medium-sized heads of romane lettuce 1/2 teaspoon salt 1/4 teaspoon dry mustard 1/4 teaspoon black pepper 1/2 cup grated parmesan cheese 6 tablespoons olive oil juice of 2 lemons 4 chopped anchovy fillets 2 coddled eggs(cook 1 1/2 minutes in simmering water) Rub sides and bottom of salad bowl with cut clove of garlic, tear lettuce into medium-size pieces, add salt, mustard, pepper, cheese, olive oil, and lemon juice. This is a true story. It didn’t happen to me (thank God!) – it happened to a friend of mine. I just tell it better. So my buddy had a reasonably well-arranged bachelor apartment, a pretty hot motorcycle, and a savage feral cat that he had found on the side of the road one day and brought home to make a pet out of. Which was only a moderately successful transition – the cat remained mostly wild, and we were all a little scared of it. Soldiers' Shoe Boxes
Hey. I like never write in this website's blog, but I feel I need to get some more information. My mom is a 4th Grade School teacher, and the students in her school are collecting things to put in shoeboxes to be sent to the soldiers still in Iraq. She has a list of **RECOMMENDED** things, but having it straight from the horse's mouth is a lot better. I know there are some wives/husbands of soldiers overseas...and I'm sure you can give me a little feedback. What is the main thing you think we can send them(keep in mind it is a shoebox) for the folks still over there? I have heard that Beef Jerky is the biggest thing....but I haven't gotten any feedback on anything else. I welcome feedback...just keep in mind that the shoeboxes are taped up and shipped the day before the Thanksgiving break. Thanks for reading.
