OK here is the story of my weekend in Charlotte, NC Since I play competitive gaming I was asked by a team to join them since their 4th member couldn't make it. Teeth...
Well my teeth have been killing me lately. I finally went to the Dentist yesterday. They too some x-rays and shit and said that if my teeth dont stop hurting by Monday, Ill have to get a root canal. They said that my tooth might be dead! Isnt it weird for someone my age to have 2 rootcanals done and a tooth pulled already? I think it is. But thats just me. URINE TESTS "Like a lot of folks in this state I have a job. I work, they pay me. I pay my taxes and the government distributes my taxes as it sees fit. In order to get that paycheck, I am required to pass a random urine test, with which I have no problem. What I do have a problem with is the distribution of my taxes to people who don't have to pass a urine test. Shouldn't one have to pass a urine test to get a welfare check because I have to pass one to earn it for them?? Please understand, I have no problem with helping people get back on their feet. I do on the other hand have a problem with helping someone sitting on their ass. Could you imagine how much money the state would save if people had to pass a urine test to get a public assistance check?????

What A Long Day, But It Was Good.
Finally my semi-annual physical exam is over with, it seemed to have taken a lot to get it done, but, I am not complaining. Just for those that don't know but I am sure it can be guessed, all branches regularly test their members in certain phases of physical exercises which plays a factor in their ability to advance or stay in. For the Navy, it consists of four parts, Part 1 is a sit-reach (you sit on the ground and touch your toes without bending your knees) and yes, there are some that have trouble, in case anyone was wondering if that would be difficult. We all have some shortfalls. Part 2, is sit-ups (and there is a certain way your partner can hold your feet and other little rules). Part 3 is push-ups, (likewise there are certain rules that apply here as well) and then the beloved 1.5 mile run in a pre-determined amount of time. IDIOT SIGHTING: Hubby and I had to have the garage door repaired. The Sears repairman told us that one of our problems was that we did not have a "large" enough motor on the opener. well, i think with exception of the random emotional outbursts, im doing ok dealing with my loss. i guess you really dont know the impact of something in your life untill its gone. this is especially hard on my daughter. shes not old enough to really have lost anything yet. with 12 animals in the house, this will most certainly happen again. so im hoping this will pave the way for her to handle loss in he future. although i know from my own losses, it really doesnt get any easier. id like to thank all of you for supporting me. without all my friends and family, i dont think i would have recovered as quickly as i have. your prayers and support have been wonderful. ill be on and off for a few days, work is not really being kind to me, but ill be around. hugs and kisses keith

Savory Mustard Sauce:
SAVORY MUSTARD SAUCE: 1/4 cup water 2 tablespoons ground mustard 1 teaspoon cornstarch 3 tablespoons light corn syrup 1 tablespoon cider vinegar In a small saucepan over medium heat, combine water, ground mustard, and cornstarch. Stir in corn syrup and cider vinegar; cook and stir until thickened and bubbly. Cook and stir another 2 minutes. Remove from heat. Salt-Crusted Mini Potatoes 20 small red-skinned potatoes (if too large, cut in halves or quarters) Extra-virgin olive oil 2 tablespoons coarse salt Preheat oven to 350 degrees. Clean and dry potatoes with a towel. If using whole potatoes, prick potatoes with a fork. Rub potato skins with olive oil. Place coarse salt onto a small plate. Roll potatoes lightly in the salt. Place potatoes on a lightly greased baking sheet. Bake approximately 35 to 45 minutes or until done. Remove from oven and serve. Makes 4 servings.

I saw this over the weekend, and I wanted to digest it a few days, to make sure my feelings didnt change any about this movie, and unfortunately...they didn't. 1408 sucked. It had a cool premise, and they did absolutely nothing to build on it. Let's start with John Cusack as a lead. I like his movies thru the years, and he plays a great sissified romantic lead, and is a good second fiddle guy. He was uninspired for this role. He played a writer who investigates "haunted" places. He wrote a well recieved novel before he started this, but his daughter died of an unnamed disease, so now its this. He definitely had the bloated look of a writer, but other than that, totally cliche. You just don't believe anything about the character he plays. And since he's alone most the time, it makes the movie all that much worse. Samuel L Jackson is pretty good in his small part, and the lady who plays his wife(?) isn't bad. So went out to a show with Persia last night (yeah I know, most of you already know that). Had a great time .... even though I am now functioning on one hour of sleep. Had something rather odd (I thought) happen. I expected the Hotdog vendor to remember us, because we get a Hotdog everytime we go to a show at this venue, which is usually once every couple of months. My First Night Out In Years...
OK... so most of you who know me know that I have not been on in over 3 years, 3 years and seven months as of last night. Not everyone we get along with perfectly is "the one"...sometimes what we have is just a distraction from our current reality while we await what is to come. What a day. I have a diffucult client that it seems to want to get rid of my company. I have worked so hard at giving them what they want. The added pressure is that our company has alot of pressure to produce for the our other four sister companies in which three are start up companies. My boss is really on me to keep this client, because it could mean more business in the future. Oh the stress is killing me. On top of that I have school projects do tomorrow.

As u can c by my profile I'm a dialysis pt. I had to hv my left kidney removed in August 02 due to it being so large..it weighed 8# (your kidney is suppose to b the size of your fist)..on August 6th I will b going to see a surgeon about having my rt kidney removed cuz they have done cat skans/MRI's of my abdomen/pelvic area and they estimate it to weigh between 8-12#....I'm very nervous. Well i was just looking at the calender n it dawned on me a week from today i'll be 36. Dont seem like it, this year went by very fast. Dont know if its just me or if it seemed like that to yall. Dont seem like its time to be 36, but time waits fer no one. Besides some sickness in the family n some close ones dieing its been a good year. The shop has really been good and done lots of busniess. Ive meet lots of new friends and my sweet Shelly of course. So all in all i cant complian. So Once Again My Pc Blew Up..
I'll tell ya I have got the worst luck with my frikin pc. Most of you guys know about 4 months ago when I moved from Chicago to Seattle my pc got broken in the move. Well a month after that and about 300 bucks later I had a new motherboard 2 new gigs of ram and supposedly a better running pc. top of the line custom actually. Well yesterday it decided to unexpectedly take a shit and die. again. Me being the computer cursed idiot that I am *sigh* decided well maybe I can boot it up from system recovery, wrong. Why wont it work.. because my cpu core fan died. Yeah Guess I shoulda payed attention to the f1 cpu overheat error messages I had been getting *laughs* so anyway long story short, I don't have a pc currently so I wont be around as much for a bit until; I can get my cpu fan replaced (hopefully wont take but a few days to get it all fixed. ) meanwhile Im crossing my fingers that the os not found error will correct itself with a new cpu core fan without in all actuality losing

Juicehead: The Devil Made Me Do It
If you like punk with just enough edge to make you uncomfortable, but catch enough to make you hum along to it, then this is an album you need to add to your collection. I was lucky enough to see them live with the Misfits a few months ago, and meet the singer/guitar player. I will say much better live. They do make one foray into the political ring, and it was okay. I think their songs about relationships hold much more water. I do get the feeling that they're a little image driven, but I still enjoy them. I'm guessing that MAYBE two people who read my stupid blogs would actually want to listen to them, and I'm not gonna go into too much detail. Lets just say hard enough to be punk, poppy enough mom and dad won't bitch, and fun enough that you'll want to listen to again. Rusty Jacobs of The Woods Tea Company died yesterday. Details havent been released yet except that he died suddenly. He was 56 years old. The Woods Tea Company used to perform every year at First Night Burlington, our citywide celebration of the new year. Their show was one of my favorite ones to go to. They did folk music, and were completely full of life, energetic and happy. Rusty was sort of the comedian of the group, always quick with a joke, he sang the amusing songs like Foolish Questions. Been Away For Awhile
Hello everyone. I know I have been away for awhile and probably will be on and off for awhile longer. We had a Tornado Touch down in our home town and have been having some awful weather that past few weeks. Nothing major was damaged this time thank God, but just enough mess to keep you busy. The Tornado knocked down several trees and scattered debris all over town. Even had lightning Strike one tree here catching it on fire. We had our electricity down for 2 days and had to run our generator to keep us going with the business. I totally shut down off the Internet and just have been concentrating on the other daily duties of my busy work days. Thank You to all who continued to send me love and comments while I was away. I've had a really good week. I got two jobs now as opposed to being out of work the past month, and have just all around been smiling. Let's hope the good stuff keeps coming. People always say to me, Rob, you are an angry guy, do you like nothing ? au contraire i respond, i like many things, so here is a list of my favorite things, no specific order just as the popped into my head. 1. Coconut Milkshakes - the best ones i have ever had are from the bamboo bar in Chaweng, Samui, Thailand. 2. Nobs who read "my" page and still think i am Rob 3.
