A Big Day Tomorrow
Kaleb needs to get his rest today because tomorrow is a big Day.
Kaleb will be having two surgeries tomorrow. I am praying EXTRA LOUD and I want to ask you to pray EXTRA LOUD TOO.
The first surgery that he will have is the placement of the G tube. They are onl.y doing a G Tube right now. I hope that this is all he needs... the less poking and invasive surgeries, the better. But if he NEEDS it than def do it. I am just so sad that he has been put through SO MUCH in his little life. But maybe this is a step forward to going back to semi-normalcy. The quicker they do all of these procedures and as long as he recovers well... The quicker he can come home =). And Boy...Josh and I want him home SOOO BAD. The second Surgery is the placement of the Permenate Shunt. The Nuerosurgeons determined that he does need the shunt and as always like with every surgery there is a risk of death.They do say that it is HIGHLY unlikely but that thought still sits in the back of my head. Josh is supposed to work tomorrow, but he is trying to get off of work. Whenever Kaleb has any procedure I need Josh here. He is my rock when I am weak and I know that
;I will be a nervous wreck when Kaleb goes into Surgery. I know that God holds Kaleb in the palm of his hand but still hopefully he is able to get off of work. He just started this job the week that Kaleb was shaken so he doesn't want to push his luck.
Kaleb is so strong and is starting to respond sooner that he was before. When I walked up to him today and leaned down to give him a kiss he jumped! He was STARTELED!!! This is a GOOD THING. He Jumped as soon as he was touched... This means that there is not a Huge delay in responding like there was in the last 2 weeks. I was excited to see this. The funny thing is, is that Kaleb doesn't blink. It is so strange. I hope that he is able to regain full function oof his eyes. I know that God will deliver him a miracle.
The important thing for us to do is to be faithful in God and strong for Kaleb. We need to walk by faith and not by sight. The sight of things do not look all that great. Kaleb looks weak, but I know that God is only making him stronger. I love my son more than ANYTHING! God knows my heart and I am sure that he will give him a miracle. I have put EVERYTHING in God's hands and I know that he has a purpose for everything, This I am sure of.
