Chicken With Pineapple
Ginger, pineapple, and teriyaki baste sauce are the secret ingredients in this simple one dish meal recipe. INGREDIENTS: * 1 cup brown rice * 14 oz. can chicken broth * 8 oz. can pineapple tidbits, undrained * 1 green bell pepper, chopped * 1 carrot, finely chopped * 1/3 cup chopped cashews * 1/2 tsp. ground ginger * 4 boneless, skinless chicken breasts * 2 Tbsp. teriyaki baste sauce PREPARATION: In greased 12x8" glass baking dish, combine rice and broth. Cover with foil and bake at 375 degrees for 45 minutes. Remove from oven, uncover, and add pineapple tidbits with liquid, vegetables, cashews and ginger and mix well. Place chicken on rice mixture and press into rice. Brush the chicken with the teriyaki baste sauce. Bake, uncovered, for an additional 30-40 minutes until chicken is thoroughly cooked. Serves 4

Oven Fried Parmesan Garlic Chicken
INGREDIENTS: * 1/2 cup margarine or butter * 2 cloves garlic, minced * 8 boneless chicken breast halves * 2/3 cup grated parmesan cheese * 1 cup fine dry bread crumbs * 1/4 cup chopped fresh parsley or 2 tablespoon dried parsley flakes * 1 teaspoon salt * 1/2 teaspoon ground black pepper PREPARATION: In a saucepan over low heat, melt butter with minced garlic. Make a crumb mixture with bread crumbs, parmesan cheese, parsley, salt, and pepper. Dip chicken pieces in butter; roll in crumb mixture. Place in a 9- x13-inch baking dish and bake at 350° for 50 to 60 minutes.

A Depressing Day. Please Help!
I have had such a terrible day, I couldn't stop crying. I feel like my world is going to collapse and I don't know what to do! September 12, 2006, 02:05:am I guess tonights subject is gonna be set backs and frustration. There is so much to be done before I have the surgery. I have to quit smoking completly and be smoke free 2 months before I can even see the surgeon. I also have to quit all caffiene completly before I see the surgeon. No Rest For The Wicked!!
Hey people, that time of day again, and it's a SUNDAY and i don't have any choice but to work it. Am driving up to Northampton this morning and guarding JJB sports (wonder how many theiving f*****s I'll catch today?) Also have to drop a new guard at his site and introduce him (that will be my excuse for being late on the job), then spend 10 hours in the cold standing by the doors continuous till my shift ends!!, I hate working weekends as i sometimes am rostered to do sat/sun..... grrrr, give me my office back with me cameras. (at least i get paid to sit on my A** for doing virtually nothing!!) On the other hand it's been slow where i work watchin the cams in a control room but had to do an eviction, arrest 3 lads for criminal damage, and get what seemed like endless complainsts from tenants ...........

When I Was 17 It Was 1983
In 1983 when I was 17 years old I gave a little baby girl up for adoption at the command of my mother. Where I grew up you did what you were told if you knew what was good for you so I did. That just happens to have been 23 years ago. Well in October 2006 I made myself a "myspace" to keep an eye ermmm no "spy" on my son and my niece (she lives with us) well anyway I made this "myspace" thing and I started getting fair at it posting photos seeing what my kids were up to checkin' out stuff in my home town and it happened, one day I logged on to find a message saying "Does the date September 5,1983 mean anything to you?" Class Project Gone Wrong
An elementary school class started a class project to make planters to take home to their parents. They wanted to have a plant in it that was easy to take care of, so they decided to use cactus plants. The students were given green-ware pottery planters in the shape of clowns which they painted with glaze. The clown planters were professionally fired at a class outing so they could see the process. It was great fun! They planted cactus seeds in the finished planters and they grew nicely, but unfortunately, the children were not allowed to take them home. The cactus plants were removed and small ivy replaced them and the children were then allowed to take them home instead. The teacher said cactus seemed like a good idea at the time! Being Sick Sucks
Not that anyone cares, but I am just so tired of it. I've been sick for almost 3 weeks and no I haven't gone to the doctor because I don't have insurance so the next time someone says to me, "Go to the doctor." I am going to say, "Sure. You're paying, right?" And being sick all this time this is the first day I have called in sick to work, though I did leave early one day about 2 weeks ago. So here I am at home, sick, bored and feeling drained. Somebody save me! Plus I hate feeling like this because I feel so damn un-cute...and I sure as hell don't feel sexy. This better go away soon, especially since I am due back in Indianapolis in about 2 weeks, and I really miss my guy. :( I want to feel all better when I see him, so we can have some fun...lots of fun...if you know what I mean *wink* I really should go to the store, I need more medicine and tissues. The First Of The Month Of Feb
Today...... What can I say about today? I stayed up until 3am last night and got to work late today. I heard the clock go off at 5am, but I didn't get up for another two hours. I thought It was a dream. Then it was another day of give me, give me my lap top, I have work to do. It seems like everyday there is something else we have to do to the paper work for the lap tops. File them, scan them, sign them, scan them again, and then put them in a different file to be intered into a database for later use. Then, there is the issue of the software. Social Experimentation 101
Fulfilling my part of the bargain.Ok so Blue Smoke and I were sitting in a stickam chat talking about all sorts of things like politics and shit. So then he notices that we had 10 lurkers watching so we came up with this social experiment. I told him that if he popped his shirt that I bet the pervs would actually come inside. So we gave it 10 minutes to get 5 of them in the room. So as we go along... we got to 4.5 minutes and we hit 5 people! You would think I had won my bet. I lost on a damn techinicality! It's always when you are in the dark that a light comes and shine trough.... I have been sick, I mean really sick.... Been in and out of the hospital for my heart. It's been scary. Not knowing what is going on and if you need surgery or not. And the worst part is when the Dr told me that I couldn't have children because my body wouldn't handle it and it could kill me... I felt like dying... The only thing that I was hoping for, my dream was taking away from me... Then, a miracle happened. My Dr. called me back this morning saying that they have found a way to heal my heart. A way that leaves no scaring tissue, no scar... And it will give me my dream back! A little surgery that will fix the hole in my heart, that will stop the pain in my chest... A little surgery that will give me back my life!!

Pellet Gun Incident

Being Stalked...seriously
My husband and I went to throw our paper route tonight only to discover a very serious problem... We were being stalked. Two nights in a row this white car has sat in the same Del Taco parking lot as us. When we leave, they would appearantly leave. Tonight after we finished folding our papers and started to leave, they left, but going a different way...though kind of fast. As we were driving down Main Street I could see them on the back streets, driving rather fast to keep up with us. As we turned down the street we needed to get on, we thought we were okay and it was just a fluke thing. Threw the first paper, than suddenly we had this white car come racing up behind us and got on our ass. Didnt put a blinker on or anything even though we were crossing 3rd Street. I am new to cherry tap, so experimenting with all the different things in here. I am a currently looking for a new job. I hate my teaching job here in NC. Scared by the way things are heading in education. I have 67 students and not one is on grade level and parents feel that I am there babysitter for 8 hours rather than allowing their children to learn. It is very sad. In Indianapolis, Indiana... A few days ago, while watching TV and taking care of her 17-month-old daughter, Asia Davis, age 22, was shot in the head and killed, with her child in her arms. A bullet fragment caught the baby in the head and knocked her unconsious. Thank God. The guys who broke in wanted a safe from the home. It had to be more than one man, because the safe weighted 400 pounds when it was empty. Had they told her it was what they wanted, she'd have gladly given it up... Asia was not found until about 17 hours later, when she wasn't answering repeated phone calls and text messages. She never answers her door at night, but she does answer the phone. I am hoping I can sell my old car off and get something out of it to put towards either a truck or KX85. I have yet to decide....depends on what is yet to come and what falls into place first. I've been in quite a philosphical mood today... I was thinking, what are the chances of anything happening? What I mean is, if you take any given event in your life there are probably hundreds of tiny little events that have to take place in order to make that happen. I drive around alot for work, so I am well versed in who has the cleanest bathrooms in the areas that I work in. I tend to go to these places often, and get to know the people who work there. The other day I got to thinking, is there anything worse than a warm toilet seat? Caseys, a chain in IL and I'm sure other places, keep their bathrooms so cold, I swear you need to break the ice in the bowl to pee. So when you get a warm seat, it just creeps me out. I locate utilities for a living, so I spend lots of time in people's backyards. I have become an expert at slipping in quietly into a backyard, marking out the utilities, and leaving. Thinking About Last Night's Show
So, on last night's Dark Side, I think I probably did my best show to date. That's both good and bad. It's good insofar as I'm kicking the rust off this whole radio show thing. well first blog on this place. last friday night i had a great time at Hathors Garden. i spent the evening with a great young lady who is wicked cool. Finally saw Hot Fuzz today. if you haven't seen this movie then you must watch it. it truly is the best buddy cop movie ever made. the shaun of the dead guys are absolutely brilliant. the movie is a mash up of different styles of films that works amazing well. Watched the new episode of Heroes. Damn that show is amazing. It is hard to believe that this show is on a major network since it is so damned good. i will not spoil anything for those who had not seen it, but if you have not watched the series then you need to get your butt all over it.
