MY LONG STORY OF BEING STRANDED IN MONTAUK! LOL
(its very interesting if you feel like reading the whole thing)
Well for those of you who read my status before someone signed me off i went to montauk with my best friend ashley.. OMG was that the adventure of the year.
She was suppose to go there to pick up her cousin who was coming back with us to connecticut. Well my lovely friend read her uncles message wrong and was suppose to leave at 7:30 in the morning the next day, not 7:30 at night (which was last night) SOOO first we missed the exit we had to get off so we had to turn around and go in a big ass circle, then when we got to montauk we went to her uncles house thinking her cousin was there.. WRONG! All the lights were off and no cars in the driveway.
She called her uncle and he was like omg you were suppose to leave in the morning SO it all started there. Her uncle told us that he was staying at a hotel with one of his friends so he gave us the number but no one answer.
So we went looking for the hotel.. WELL her uncle said it was the atlantic terrace hotel so we were driving up and down the street for 45 minutes looking for the hotel and when we finally found it, it was boarded up. Now just so you know it was abooooout -20 degrees outside and it was windy as hell. And yes you read that right, the hotel was boarded up as in no one was there!
So we go down the street to find another hotel called the royal atlantic, so we knew that was the hotel so she started yellin her cousins name out at 12:30am. Yes she's crazy lol
Well that didn't work so we didn't know what to do, we were hungry as hell, had nothing to eat, no place to sleep, we both had to go to the bathroom and we were running out of gas. So we go back to her uncles house and try to break in HAHA! but it didn't work so we started looking for a hotel to stay at. WELL this lovely town decided to have every hotel, store, diner, AND gas station closed! So we drove all the way to east hampton and found a hess gas station so she filled up there but the store wasn't open so we kept going. Found another hess station and there was a person in there so i went and knocked on the door and asked if he could PLEEEASE just get some food so she let us in, we got some food and we were able to go to the bathroom too. So after all that we were like where we going to sleep.. so we went over infront of the garbage in the gas station and parked there and slept in the car. We had to start the car every half hour to heat the car up. Well we stayed in that car for about 9 or 10 hours waiting for the next day to come so we could go drag her cousin out of the hotel and go home. Next day came (FYI none of us got any sleep in her dumb car lol sooo uncomfy) we got her cousin and we were on our way home YAY! and here i am now :-D
