I don’t understand how so many people can intentionally hurt or cause pain to others, especially those that are called loved ones. I don’t understand the need to tear down others to make one’s self feel or look better. Why do some people think that causing pain in someone’s life even remotely acceptable? Why I Haven't Been Around!
For those of you that do not know... I had surgery on October 30th and have been slowly recovering from that. Then on November 21 my daughter and I got carbon monoxide poisoning. My daughter was treated and released, but I had to stay for a little over 24 hours. Is It My Fault??
Ever since I was little my Mother kept on Drilling in my head that it was my Fault that she had quit school and her father dying and her getting into drugs and since I have been on my own I had been with abusive men saying it is me was my Fault that they hit me. I had received a Phone call from the kids dad about an hour ago that before he hung up telling me that him hitting me was my fault cause I do not know how to mind him. That is why I threw his butt out in the first place. Sometimes it is very hard to make me realize that it is not my fault that it is the other persons fault. Good Bye
I said good bye to my sister when I moved down here to phoenix back before labor day weekend. Little did I know that it would be a final good bye. My sister passed away November 8, 2007. she was my baby sister. Always was. Her birthday was one day from mine. I was her hero. She is mine. She had such a rough life. Poor Man's Lobster
1 servings 3 qt Water 1/2 c Salt 1/2 c Sugar 4 Pounds of cod, cut into 6 Or 8 pieces Butter Bring water, salt and sugar to boiling; remove from heat and add cod. Cover and let stand for 15 minutes. Injury Updates: Terrell Owens Is The Latest Casualty Last night's 20-13 victory over the Carolina Panthers was bittersweet for the Dallas Cowboys. The Cowboys went into the game with numerous injuries already, including those to Pro Bowl center Andre Gurode, free safety Pat Watkins, and running back Tyson Thompson. New Years Eve
Hope everyone had a great New Years Eve. I went to a party at a neighbours house. The first time I have been out on December 31st in years. My neighbours from two doors down decided to through a big party for friends and neighbours. There basement is just one big room which they use for parties. Even has disco balls and lights. I just wanted to thank my friends that stopped by while I was stuck in limbo “Tech Hell” and out of touch for a while. My hubby and I were sharing one comp till we could get a new battery supply for his and unfortunately wound up with a nasty Trojan we did not want to share with anyone so I have been spending the last 2 weeks wracking my brains on taking care of this issue and had resorted to installing a new hard drive, salvaging what I could from my old drives (8 of them each over 150 GB) , installing Windows and all the drivers, and programs I had to only encounter inability to connect to the internet because I could not find the ISP’s installation disk and finally got a tech out to fix the problem today. INGREDIENTS * 12 ounces chopped raw bacon * 1 small white onion, chopped * 5 button mushrooms, chopped * 1 1/2 pounds extra-lean ground beef * 1 egg * 1/4 cup evaporated milk * 6 ounces shredded Swiss cheese, divided * 1/2 cup corn flake crumbs DIRECTIONS 1. Today is the day. Judy has her eye surgery today. Its the second one on her eyes. I pray that this is the last one. This little girl has gone through so much in her 7 short years. Judy is an amazing little girl. She faces all her difficulties and challenges with a smile and cheerful outlook. She has exceeded everything the doctors thought. She is a "chatty cathy" when they said she would not speak, she runs when they said she would never walk, she loves and knows when you are joking with her when they said she would never be able to bond or recognize emotions. To all who read this, I ask for prayers today. Be it to God, Allah, The Goddess, a Higher Power, whom ever or what ever. That Judy is held in their arms and that they guide the surgeons hand to give Judy perfect vision after this operation. Thank You so very much.... We are off to the surgical center. Things Change
You find someone to love and then all of a sudden things change. You change trying to make the other happy and yet you lose who you are. You thought the person loved you for who you are and in time learn you don't know how to make that person happy. Explanation Update ......
Just to let you know that my mum is out of hospital as of yesterday.Her prognosis is positive, it's too soon to know yet whether she will need chemo or any other treatment or whether the surgery was enough. Sadness
My uncle died on Monday. He was only 42. He and his wife had gone to take a nap, but later on he wouldn't wake up. They worked on him for an hour before they pronounced him dead from cardiac arrest. My heart is so completely shattered. He was the greatest guy ever. We were a lot alike in some ways which made us very close. When I heard the news I fell to my knees and started crying and screaming. I know he is in a better place, but this was just so sudden and unexpected. Daddy came to get me this morning and I have been at my grandmother's all day trying to grasp the reality. Steve could always make you laugh even if you didn't feel like it. He was just so lovable. So yesterday was the one year mark, of my mom passing away. Naturally I was sad and emotional, and all of us kids, 5 total, were going to the grave site yesterday afternoon, to place flowers. So, we are all there standing around laying flowers on her grave, and talking and laughing, remembering old times. Some of the stories I remembered and some I didn't, but they all held an aspect of mom that was tender to all of us. She came into our lives in a whirl wind, married dad, and took on, at the time, 4 kids, later she got pregnant with TK and the 4 became 5. I am an overly dedicated employee. If they need someone to work a weekend, they just assume I will...and I do. If an area is messed up, my boss sends me and I straighten it out.
