Good Morning,… My gosh… next they say eating beans will give you gas…I wonder how much that costs a gallon…just kidding. Holey smokes the drive home from Bowling last night was an Un-auspicious one to say the least. I left work into a driving snow storm and decided to drop the Durango off to Manders as she have the convertible Chrysler Lebaron which is very low to the ground and myself if I can’t ride the vehicle out in a slide and feel safe then I am jumping! Well there is no getting my tall ass out of the car quickly no matter if someone just passed gas or not… I am stuck… but, anyway the roads were bad, so bad that a semi tractor trailer thumped into another one shutting down I-94 right near the Saint Joseph River… Big problems! Not a good time ever to shut that highway down let alone during the middle of the week. It is normally Trucker city. So apparently the semis ruptured a diesel tank and the fluid was seeping into the river… Oh yeah, going to be some 7 eyed fish swimming around the inlet waters to Lake Michigan but that is another story! So the Hasmat team was called in, anyway I am off track here I gave Mandy the Durango and took the dang Lebaron… and found out after I got home she was to finish the night off at Old Navy…dang… now I had to either take her Lebaron or Bonnies Mazda Protégée ok… remember my thought process… in a slide if I do not feel safe in the vehicle I am turning into a jumper… The Protégée is a jumpers dream, easy in easy out…hmmm hold that thought! So, where was I? Oh so I take the Jumper car, I mean the Protégée which is best described on slushy icy conditions as pregnant roller skate! This car could not stay straight if I was being pulled by a Sherman Tank! So I get to the bowling alley and think… holey crap I am going to die tonight in that little ass car… I was white knuckled and hair standing on end! So I settle down and Phil my buddy who we often go out with him and his wife comes up and says: “ Hey, peg wants to know if she can put on her PJ’S “ I am like huh? The look I gave him was like I had gas but couldn’t pass it… So finally he says well in other words can you give me a ride home, and those who know me know I would do anything for anyone… so I said yeah sure due, no problem… OH NO!!!!! I have the pregnant roller skate…. So now not only is my life in danger I also added a friends too! So after bowling we go out and he looks around and says “ Hey where is the Horse at?” (The Durango) I am like… Mandy has it… I seen the look on his face… sheer agony and well, he asked for a ride home and little did he know that we were going to be ice skating home… so here we are in that car! I am white knuckled couldn’t fart if I wanted to and scared to too, thinking my butt crack was puckered so tight if I did fart I would blow off a knee cap or something… well to make a long story short… we made it home…but my gosh!!!!! That car should be outlawed!!! Have a wonderful Thursday.
