Day Off
I thought a day off meant that you werent supposed to have anything much to do. I have so far went grocery shopping, went to the library to pick up some books on A+ certification. I finally found a good one. I have also went running. Bad idea especially in this heat. Its supposedly almost 100 degrees outside and my brainy idea was to go out and exercise by running for about an hour. The Town I Live In...
I went with my ex riding around today. For those of you who read this and haven't had the privilage of sitting down for a real talk with me I will fill you in a little. I grew up in this little town in south Texas called Rockport. Rockport and the town of Fulton border each other you can hardly tell that you leave one and enter the other unless you see the not so big sign. This town used to be much smaller. When I was growing up if you wanted fast food we had Burger King (which is now out of business i think it closed in 1999or 2000), Sonice (which has moved now and has a brand new building with a nifty little drive thru part), Whataburger (hasn't changed since 1979 when my mom moved here), and Dairy Queen (which also has a new building). We had a few sit down eatteries thru out town. If I Had It All..
I'd fuck it all up. I find myself wishing for some kind of comfort from all this. It's like a storm just rose from the ground at my feet. I finished my 4th driving lesson. I need practice on the road or it will be even more difficult on my 5th lesson. I really need to get my driver's license by the 23rd of this month. hello everyone....to anyone one that cares i am back from my trip from reno..i had a wonderful time i had so much fun that i will go back someday and hopefully i will find some one to go with me next time....the only reason why i went to reno was because i had a national bowling tournament. it is the biggest bowling tournament in the world and by going to it i had a partner that i was bowling with and we are sitting 6th place overall in the world.. which i am very happy with i had no intentions on placing in the tournament and that i was just there for a good time..with that being said i am proud of myself and i hope that i will find someone to go with me next year to new mexico and the followingin vegas....there are alot more different places to go every year and i hope that someone would be interested in me and want to go to these tournaments with me cause i promise you that it will be fun....hope everyone has a wonderful weekend and thank you for listening :)

Well tomorrow is 4 weeks since back in the states. I stopped counting the days and went to weeks, it makes it seem a little bit shorter. Arizona Casserole 4 pound ground round or chuck 2 chopped large onions 2 minced garlic cloves 1/4 cup chili powder (or to taste) 6 cups tomato sauce 1 teaspoon sugar 1 1/2 tablespoons salt 2 cups sliced black olives 8 onces diced green chiles 24 corn tortillas cooking oil 4 cups small curd cottage cheese 2 eggs 1 pound thinly sliced Monterey Jack cheese 2 cups grated Cheddar cheese 1 cup chopped green onions 1 cup sour cream Brown meat in batches in a large heavy frying pan or Dutch oven. (Do not put too much meat into the perature to drop and meat will turn grey instead of brown). Saute onion and garlic with last batch of meat. Return all meatto pan. Sprinkle chili powder over meat and mix well. Add tomato sauce, sugar, salt, half the olives and the diced green chiles. Simmer over very low heat 15 minutes. Update!!! 06/14/2007
June 14 2007 Wow what a busy day! Kaleb is still doing pretty well. I had to go do laundry this AM at the laundry mat (I haven't been keeping up with that so it takes me like 4 hours to get it done) and when I called to see how Kaleb did ovver night, the nurse told me that he did well. She also said that when she was moving him around he was getting fussy!!!! FUSSY! WHAT A GREAT WORD TO HEAR! Now it is not like a fussy that a normal baby would be... but it is a collection of short wimper cries. He is also fighting the nurses more too! His central line has clotted so they are trying to unclott it. They have but in a Hep Lock IV into his right arm now just until they can resolve the problem with the central line. Hopefully they are able to unclott the central line or they might have to redo it... and trust me, that is not the most pleasent experience. In all respect to my friends, yesterday and Wednesday were not the greatest days in the world. Our Week
This week has been a crazy week here for us. Just wanted to keep my friends in the loop who actually read my bulletins. Monday we went to USC for lil man's root canal. Yea it sucked, it was a LONG day. The proceedure isn't like a normal one since his tooth is so new. They weren't able to finish it in the 2 1/2 hours they worked so we have to go back in july to finish. Tuesday was his talent show and he played his baratone. He did really well and made us all proud. The teacher in charge of it was even saying how hard he had worked and how well he did. Wed was more of an on the go day!!! we had to go shopping and get ready for the next day since the next day was.......... Thursday was GRADUATION!!! He promoted out of grammer school!!! Surgery Is Set
So... finally a date for surgery is set for July 10th.They didn't even really try to get me scheduled any sooner.At least they agreed to keep me set up in pain meds for the time being. The Price Is Right
As an individual who's inspiration is based largely on nostalgia, I would ask that everyone reflect on what Bob Barker and The Price is Right has meant to them. I got the chance to watch the show this morning, and even though it was done like most of the other shows, it was meaningful because it may have been Bob Barker's last. I remember watching The Price is Right when I was very young, and every time I'd be sick from school, it was almost ritual that I take the hour out of my day to watch it. Hopefully, Bob Barker will change his mind and come back because the show wouldn't be the same without him, and I'm positive that everyone would agree with me on that. Of course I work 3rd shift(10pm-6am)!! Anyway, my night sucked last night in a major way! I don't understand why people who should know better have to give you an attitude and yell at you like you were the one doing wrong. I certainly don't take attitude and yelling from my teenage kids, so why would I take it from a co-worker under me. Oh yea, I forgot to mention that I would be the supervisor of the 3rd shift, so this sort of makes me like management! Today my mom contacted me to tell me that not only had my dad (her ex husband) had died AND been buried. My aunt didn't even have the decency to tell me or my brother that my dad died until after the funeral. I'm not close to my dad. Just So No One Feels Jilted By My Lack Of Hospitality Or Some Crap...
I mostly add friends for points to get me to Godfather in the end. However, those who show me they are legitimate friends will end up staying on my list in the end.
