After 6 years of college, vacillating between biology and the social sciences, I finally got a degree in psychology and at one time was a residential counselor at a transitional living program. In normal speak, it's a program that allows people to get back on their feet and become productive individuals in the community. Mom Is Home!!
For my friends and fans out there, mom is HOME! They discharged her late yesterday and I will be staying the night with her 3 nights a week. The night nurse 2 and my brother on weekends. Alright once again I have a venting blog for my friends who actually know me in rl on here. I've had issues with my one older brother for the past year and half now. He started out doing meth and moved up to apparently recently doing coke. He has been missing since last wednesday. *Sorry if there are typo errors. A kiss is a kiss. But what makes it special is the moment when that happens. It’s all about the moment, but that’s just me. For those that don't, here is a brief summary of what has been going on with me and my family. My dad was diagnosed with Ampullary Carcinoma, a very rare cancer that the Dr.s at Johns Hopkins were very positive about the treatment with surgery by doing a procedure called the Whipple procedure or a Whipple Resection. Below is a diagram of what is involved in that: This is a picture of your normal anatomy and the way things are supposed to be hooked up and working. In this illustration they are missing the liver; which also had a pie shaped piece removed from it. The only difference between that picture and my dad is the tumor was in the ampullary duct, also known as the ampula. But this procedure was the ONLY cure for it still yet. Why do people make morphs that morph them from something they look nothing like into their picture? I understand the concept of wishful thinking. It's After 5 And Still Up
Hi all, well here it is after 5 am and I am still up! For whatever reason this week I haven't slept good. I am tired and I go to bed pretty early, but then after a few hours of sleep, if for any reason I wake up, I am UP the rest of the night. I have cut out naps during the day to help me get my sleep schedule back on track, so not sure what is wrong. I do now that we need a new bed ASAP! It is totally not comfortable, and I wake up with a backache in the morning, so not sure if that is the problem or what?!?! Car Dies And All Kinds Of Fun
Hi all, just thought I would write about what has been going on this week. On the 5th i went to get paychecks and all. The car drove fine all the way there, and back with the charge light on for the battery. Andrew is going to bible study all week long from 9-noon. So at noon went out to start the car, and it is DEAD! I couldn't believe it! I just drove it to the city and back and it did fine. GRRRRRRRRRR!!! So I get into the Plymouth, which has 4 bad tires on it, and we pick up Andrew, run to the bank, deposit the checks, go grocery shopping, always spend more then I should, then run to cashland, and run home and unload the car. Clean the kitchen up and get all the trash out. Then run to Walmart, also spend more then I should there, lol. Come home around 8 or so, dead on our feet. So I call and order pizza, then around 9:15 or so I lay down on the couch and I pass out! Darryl came home last night around 10 or so. I finally woke up around 1 am or so when Darryl woke me up to go to bed.

JALAPENO RELISH 1 lb. onions 1/2 lb. bell peppers 1 tsp. salt, optional 1/2 c. white vinegar 1/2 lb. jalapeno peppers 1 lg. can tomatoes, 16 oz. 1 tsp. garlic powder Cut stems and remove seeds from the jalapeno peppers. Chop fine, wear gloves when handling the jalapenos. Chop all vegetables including the tomatoes and place in pot with other ingredients. Bring to a boil, then simmer about 1 hour, stirring occasionally until onions are soft and sauce is slightly thickened. To get sauce a little thicker, weigh all ingredients after peeling and removing stems and seeds. To get it hotter leave in all jalapeno pepper seeds. Bottle and refrigerate, or may be put in jars and canned, makes about 3 pints.

My Graduation!
So I got my AA today...that is to say that I walked in the ceremony. It was really great and it did not take long at all. Afterwards, I went out with my closest friends....the people who I consider more like family. We went to Applebees and had a good time. I got some really good gifts...one in particular was so special. All in all it was a great day!

A Little Dog That Always Will Have A Place In My Heart
This blog is for myself to reflect and to express myself. Just recently My Dog Annie I love her to death unfortunatly she ended up passing away. She was only 3 years old and she was a bundle of energy. Its really tough now cause when I come home from work she isnt there to greet me at the door. Sometimes I think I can hear her barking at the planes that flew over head and the birds that swooped down to take a drink in the bird bath.
