Just Passing Time.
Well, here I sit just passing time on vacation in southern CA. Thus far I have to say the land scape has been beautifull, not to mention my company that is having me as their guest. Although I will be returning home soon which is something I am not looking very forward to.. But One must be at home to take care of various things on occasion. Things have gone well while I have been here, aside from the recent death in the family of my uncle, may he rest in peace.... I've been keeping such mornfull feelings at bay along with breaking down when thinking about things, which I know will eventually catch up to me. Just dreading when it does... Thankfully people here have been keeping me occupied and keeping my mind off of such things. Blessings to them. It's odd though I thought the other evening.. well sometimes when you think you finally fine a friend and you always are there to help them out when they need it, then when you need help you find out your so called friend is way to busy for you. Why is it that so many photographers like to talk to me. It's weird. I was on the bus in November and this creepy guy gave me his card, he actually owned a studio in Lakewood or whatever, and I have a friend who's a photographer, and all sorts of people who do photography on here keep asking to take my pictures... My Ongoing Struggle With Depression
I saw the doctor today for this cold i've been dealing with and told her about my depression. She wrote me a prescription for an anti-depressant so hopefully that will help. She also said that she wanted to get me feeling better before she tried to help me give up the cigs. Well, when we last saw our main character, it was the middle of July, 2005. By this point I had set up my retirement ceremony for Friday January 20, 2006. If you have never been to a military retirement ceremony, they can be either very short and sweet, or can be real tear jerkers. My goal was to make even the toughest guys shed a tear. Here Is Another Update
Well, I haven't wrote anything in a little bit so I thought I would write and tell about some interesting things that have occured in my life. Last Thursday was a benefit show that I actually would like to thank The Warehouse for putting on. It was for a guy I knew in high school who died of testicular cancer. His name was Derrick Danko. Don't get me wrong, Derrick and I were never close, we were not great friends, and I hadn't been in touch with him since I graduated, so please don't send me the sympathy comments, save that for his family, including the three children he left behind. My memories of the man are all fond though, I was the little gothic child back in high school and he still accepted me and would talk to me like he would any other person in the school. With my Harley loaded into my pickup I left from my Brother in Law's house up the 880 to I-80 east. What a drive it was driving up to Donner Pass, altitude 7200'. What Do I Want Out Of Life?

June 22 2007 Kaleb is still a trooper. He is peacefully resting right now. He didn't throw up last night at all... The nurse said that he had a pretty good night. Cancer Of The Heart?
I found out yesterday that my dad has lung and bone cancer. The hospital only found out because he was drunk and fell (got thrown out more likely) of a pub and went to hospital cause he hurt his shoulder and x-rays showed this other stuff. Should I feel bad, or sad, or anything at all? Cause I don't. I think I don't cause firstly, i never really liked him or got on with him when he was still around, secondly, the fucker didn't even want us to know, and thirdly he brought it on himself by smoking and drinking booze like water. I think it might be cheaper to just rent a car and take the test that way. I really want to get my driver's license. If i can get it tomorrow (and pass that thing without any problems) I can call the teacher when i get home and tell her i decided to just take the test and passed it. I went over everything. Makes 18 servings.. adjust as needed..my org recipe is for 6 dozen lol INGREDIENTS: 1 cup shortening 1 1/2 cups white sugar 2 eggs 2 3/4 cups sifted all-purpose flour 1 teaspoon baking soda 2 teaspoons cream of tartar 1/2 teaspoon salt 2 tablespoons white sugar 2 teaspoons ground cinnamon DIRECTIONS: 1. Preheat the oven to 375 degrees F (190 degrees C). Grease cookie sheets. 2. In a medium bowl, cream together the shortening and sugar. Add eggs one at a time, mixing after each. Sift together the flour, baking soda, cream of tartar and salt; stir into the creamed mixture until well blended. 3. In a small shallow bowl, stir together the 2 tablespoons of sugar with the cinnamon. Roll the dough into walnut sized balls and roll the balls in the sugar mixture. Sprint Drops 1,000 Customers At The End of July Like many times I post anything to my blogs, people, I wish I were joking. If you're a Sprint/Nextel customer, consider changing your service. According to the article, they're dropping 1,000 customers as of the end of July. Thier reasons? These customers complain too much. By evidence of their action, this corporate juggernaut is sending a message to their existing customer base by simply telling them to "Put up or shut up." It was my understanding that when you have unhappy customers, you do whatever is necessary to make them happy in order to keep business. I still remember being told that there are two cardinal rules in the realm of Customer Service. The first is that The Customer Is Always Right. Things have been really hectic around here lately... I had to hospitalize 1 of my boys on friday, and not sure when the dr will release him to come home... Recovering Nicely
I had surgery last Friday, 8.17.07, to have my gallbladder removed. I was in rough shape for about 36 hours or so afterwards but I got up and out of the house Sunday for about 5 hours with the help of my mother. She drove me to Walmart and the grocery store so that I could get a few things. I got into Walmart and took a look at the motorized carts and said to myself "what the heck" and I hopped on one and away I went. It helped a great deal but I tell ya, it's hard to get through some of those isles with that thing! I didn't run over anyone either...although there were a few people I would have liked have to run over. Some people are so rude! I kept my cool...I was in no rush. It's now Wednesday and I'm still feeling a bit sore but all in all I'd have to say things are going well in the recovery department. My biggest problem now is finding things that I can do to occupy my free time while I'm at home. I won't be able to see my surgeon until 08.31.07 so I have 'bout a week and

Well I Guess Its Back To Bad Luck...again...health Issues....
Lately I have been having what I thought were panic attacks...Well I went to the doctor last Friday and they decided to hook me up to an EKG machine and monitor my heart...well...I went back today and the doctor has decided to put me on an activity monitor for a week. The symptoms that I have been having are shortness of breath, lightheadedness, dizzyness, to the point where I feel like i am going to pass out, my heart feels like it is going to come out of my chest. I have had several attacks within the past week, 4 while I have been driving, and 2 while I was sleeping...I wake up...sweating...and all the other symptoms. The doctors dont seem to know what the problem is, so my doctor is sending me to a Cardiologist...I dont have the appt yet I should hear something today...Just thought that I would give everyone here a little notice...so that they know if i dont get on often or dont talk much and keep to myself you will all know why...I guess its just been broken one to many times...ha
