I always wondered why people really bother to write blogs and stuff. They always seemed more like a journal to me in which case you'd just write about what's bothering youor whatever and not worry if someone read it or not. The more I think about it, it really is a journal because if something's bothering you where else can you get it all out at? You really want people to read it to know how you feel but you know if you tell them how you feel they'll ether get mad or just won't care so in essence it's a way of getting out what's bothering you without all the risk of knowing that they don't care or that if they read it and get mad no one has to know that they read it. Communation is important in any relationship, but what happens when the only thing you have to communicate with is pen and paper or for this, a keyboard and a screen? What happens when people you thought were there for you to talk to really aren't? That's when you go to the blog or journal as a consulation!

Mum Update
Just thought i'd drop a line to let you know the latest. My mum's wounds are healing well after the removal of half her lung and some lymph nodes to remove her lung cancer. She still has pain but that is getting better with time. She has now started chemotherapy and this will continue for 2 week blocks then 2 weeks off and go on for 4 - 6 months. We are really hoping she won't be as ill with this chemo as she was when she had chemo for her breast cancer. Please say a prayer for her to come through this as easily as possible. We recently got bought by another company, us and our competition, o now we're one big happy family. We locate 3 utilities, and they marked the one we didn't locate. We are now arranging classes to learn how to locate the utility that they marked. I have previous experience marking this utility. Despite that, we've just been informed that we are having mandatory weekend classes. It is unsure if it will take one or two days.. Since the end of March, we've been working mandatory Saturdays. How do you change that between two people. If you are uncomfortable being around some one but they are friends with your friends what do you do? I have problems warming up to people this much I know. It takes me a while to get to know someone before I can be comfortable around them. Now this isn't always the case. Another Day Of Trauma And Triumph - Thank You. A Diary Entry About Another Step In The 'write' Direction.
The day started off well, I had my first order from Nielsen's Book Data. The only trouble was no one had told me how to fulfil it so when he who knows all was not forthcoming I had to shout N.B.D. for help then wait in a state of frenzy in suspended flux. They soon replied and were so helpful after which I did as they suggested and tried to open a trading account with the Buyer. I did this by email and am still waiting for a reply. Not to worry, they wanted the book so I will wait. Then the post came and the payment for Wednesday's telesales order arrived. There was a lovely note saying, "Thank you." I thought that was nice. Yesterday I had a wonderful review from my friend in Japan it is below. I sent a copy of Essentially Oils review to a friend, she was over the moon telling me I must feel proud and if not then why not! We went out to celebrate the book sale tonight and then as a gesture of thanks I went shopping, with he who has the compeetoes, at a supermarket.

My Hip
As some of you know, I've been having trouble with my hip as of late. I finally broke down, took a day off Monday, and went to the doctor. He says that my problem is in the muscle, and not in the bone structure, or joint. He then prescribed me a pain killer, and an antiinflamatory. I don't like pain pills, rarely take them, but couldn't wait to get my hands on them, it hurt so bad. I know it takes a little bit to get in the system, and to really start working, but it is now Wednesday, and I don't see any relief in the near future. In fact, where as before, I had good days and bad, I am now stuck on bad. I'm to the point I can only sit in hard chairs, or lay on the floor. It hurts now to walk, and never did before. I'm going to the chiro today, and maybe he can see if I knocked something out of whack.

I think it is wonderful that Gay marriage is legalized in california. Most of this country is disugusted by it but it is because of their religious views. Mri Here I Come
Went to my Dr today, and he is starting the process to get an MRI for my aching body. Of course, today my hip felt pretty good. He did say he's 95% sure that it is something pinched. He said my circulation is good, and my strength is good. He also said keep walking, keeps strength in the leg. I also lost 4 more pounds, which, for being pretty inactive, makes me happy.

My Week In Hell
It was supposed to be a great vacation. My first one in 14 years. Turned into a nightmare. I"ll leave out my experience at Detroit Metro Airport. (if you wanna know ask me in private) and get to the good stuff. My mother and I get down there and my sister picks us up from the airport. Get to my grandparents and my grandfather looks horrible. For 3 weeks my grandmother had been screaming at him and not feeding him barely at all. He had lost 50 pounds at least. He was a shell of the man he had used to be. Within 5 hours it was apparent what had been happening. My grandfather had had back surgery and heart surgery. My grandmother the paranoid skitzo she is would scream at him to get up and walk sometimes hitting him and would put his food just out of reach of him. As soon as we were alone with him he started crying and begged us to take him out of there. Get him some help and away from her. This man used to be a Colonel in the Air Force. Served in a few wars... I have never seen him ever

I had 5 whole days of feeling good, and now I think I relapsed. I am having hope that I can walk it out, it feels like I can, but who knows. I made the mistake of helping a friend pick up his mom's car. The last time I rode in his vehicle, it knocked my back out of place, and sure enough, I rode in it yesterday, and here I am again. I still haven't heard about my MRI, but I hope that they schedule it soon. Heck, I'd just like to feel as good as I did most this week for awhile.

Our Band Nocturnal Ascent played at Juanapalooza. We had a great time. Other bands that played was Tha Backz. They rocked the place; Time Out. these guys were awesome; and Unannounced. My Depression (read This Instead Of Asking Me What's Wrong)
I thought I would write this to explain to everyone why I'm so depressed lately. My father passed away in 2006. I've been doing OK I guess until recently. I have been having dreams about him that cause me to be up most of the night crying. I thought that time is supposed to help you heal, but it's making things worse for me. I think I might just have to break down and take pills from the Dr. I really didn't want to but this is hell for me.

Thank You For The Help On Making Me Rock Star
Just this past weekend I have overcame a plateau on here at Fubar. For some of you, that plateau has already been made, but now it's my turn. I am now a Rock Star, Level 20, and did it before Oct.2, which happens to be my birthday. I wanted to take some time to thank the people that helped me get to the level. I don't know how I should do this, being the list of people is so long, and I don't want to leave anyone out while doing it. I guess I'll just say thank you to all of you that lend a helping hand to this burnt out Reverend, you should know who you all are, being I rated my of your pics as well. On the other note, my popularity has jumped up dramatically, I'm starting to get day ranks and weekly ranks, and I don't even have a VIP or a Blast. That's one thing I love about getting to Level 20, I did without the luxury of either one of these things. I have been thinking about getting one now, after I became a Rock Star, but it won't be for a while, unless someone gives me one

Tuesday Update....aka Stitches Are Still In Folks
The doc looked at them, removed the small bandages from the incisions, kept saying how great they look (I wanted to cry..yuck) and put some Neosporin and gauze on them and told me to change it once a day. When I said, "So the stitches aren't coming out today?" He said he likes to leave them in for 3 to 4 weeks. I'm okay with it, for the most part. A part of me was hoping the stitches would be out and I'd be that much closer to being done so I could start working but the part of me that saw under the bandages...that part is very happy that my doc is picky and errs on the side of caution. So, MAYBE in two weeks the stitches will be coming out.

I was thinking today how online sometimes becomes like a reality show. On a reality show the producers take people and turn them into characters. They then only show you footage to further make you see that person a certain way. If they decide to make someone the drama queen you'll really only see footage of that person causing drama, being overdramatic, etc. Even though maybe in reality that person was only dramatic 10% of the time and the other 90% of the time was an awesome person. Or you'll have the bad boy/girls who you want to hate and smack. The people running the show will keep making sure the footage you see makes you dislike that person. hey everyone! just wanted to let all of you that have been asking, know that my holiday went Great! I was able to see my babies, my brand new 5 month old nephew.....finally say goodbye to my father (i never was able to say goodbye to him before i left for NC :( ...so i was able to spend some time with him).....All in all, i got to spend family/friends time over this past holiday week. WEll I am back... I was having Fu-withdrawls...its been a few weeks...some things have worked out and somethings are still in working progress and some things I had to cut ties with. I moved into my own apartment here in cincinnati. I'm extremely excited, I can run around naked now LOL. But most importantly I can regain my focus of who I am. My Internet gets hooked up at home after Christmas. My place is perfect for a one bedroom. The only thing i don't like is when guests come over, they'll have to go thru my room to use the restroom. Smells Like Teen Spirit
This little incident happened when my wife was in Iraq. At work, I keep an extra pair of pants and an extra shirt in my drawer, neat & clean, folded up and stuffed inside a plastic Wal-Mart bag. Just An Observation
Yeah so the "I can't rate fast lemme go cry in my soup" MuMMs are annoying the piss out of me, so I'm blogging. I just saw this guy's blast & the message was blank. Now, I'm not one to tell people how to spend their money & I don't really care, it just made me think. Why would you spend money on a blast & not even write anything? Or..if someone bought it for him, isn't it rude to at least not thank that person? I've been given VIPs, blasts & blings and I'm always EXTREMELY thankful the person took the time to think of me & the money to pay for it. Money's been tight lately & I haven't had extra to spend on frivolous things, so if I was going to spend the money on one, I'd at least write something. Like I said, I don't care & he can do what he wants with his blast. I just found it strange. You may go back to your lives now. :)

When Blood Is Spilled...so Casually...
one never knows what awaits one from day to day... work stations are, by definition, not the most pleasurable of life's stations...but for some it takes on various permutations of unpleasantry...often unecessarily so as well... a case in point would be that which occurred last night at my work 'station', acting as i was in the capacity of leading hand due to illness of the regular one. when the call came in i took on the responsibility of acting on it, allowing for the crew to carry on their normal duties; having an 'extra' person certainly helped... the call was for dealing with an issue of blood around a payphone outside one of the train staions, where apparently they hadn't of yet ascertained much more, such as the extent of the loss, etc. the next call did however, after i'd made the commitment to respond to it myself. apparently the blood spill was extensive, going through the entire station, the platform...outside and down along the walkway and bridge... steeling myself for a
