Girls, I wanted to let you all know that Harley has bone cancer in his leg and the prognosis isn't good. The vet wants to amputate his leg today. She is afraid that the bone is so fragile, just walking could cause it to break. He's having X-Rays this morning to see if the cancer is in his lungs also. The problem is, even with the removal of the leg, the most Harley would be here is around 6 to 9 months, IF he survives the surgery / recuperation. Dad is a wreck. He just asked me what I thought we should do and I couldn't even talk. He realizes we have to take Harley in and put him to sleep but he doesn't want to make the decision for when that happens. He'd love to take him to the ranch for a weekend of fun but if his leg broke up there, we'd be in big trouble trying to get him to the vet. I am still having pc problems and can only use my laptop sometimes. Last night I let my son use my pc and then he didn't use the mouse that much and the computer froze. Morning everyone.. I've finally decided what i'm doing with my life, imagine that. I am gonna study to become a cardiac technologist. It means giving up alot.. and moving all the way to bloem.. but it's going to be awesome. I'll get to work in a hospital everyday. So Ive been a little depressed lately and until today I didnt know why. Then it hit me. Im turning 27 this year and havent really done anything with my life. I am gifted with the ability to remember some of my dreams I have..I usually try to keep a dream journal around but thats not easy to share. THis Dream I had started out when I was 16 (dream age anyways) I was in this psuedo waterpark/Aquatic centre deal. I was having fun and went down this water slide which starts at one level of the building and ends at the bottom level of the building. As I reached the bottom of the slide I splashed in the watter only to be jumped by 3 guys and held under water to drown....Apparently the lifegaurds had no eyes or were shocked to inaction as they did this to my dream self.I fought back and won but in the process my arm was crushed and so was one of my legs...I float on the water face down actually breathing in like I would oxygen....Then this dream leaves me and rushes into another one which is me in the future... Ingredients: 8 oz (about 2 cups) lightly toasted almonds 1/4 cup matzo cake meal or potato starch 3 egg whites, at room temperature 2/3 cup firmly packed light brown sugar 1 tsp vanilla extract 1/2 tsp cinnamon Dash of salt Instructions: Preheat the oven to 325ºF. I've Just Been Thinking..
I think I've come to the conclusion that I'm fake, that I'm a false person at times. Now, things will always bother someone, the only difference is how you deal with what's going on. I usually come out of situations with my head up high, acting as if everything is fine, as if I wasn't bothered at all, but could that be exactly how I feel? Things bother me as much as the next person, I just have a weird way of hiding my true feelings, rather than show that I am affected somehow. People ask me all the time, 'Why are you so calm? Well, first blog on here and It's really not a great one. I had my cat Midget for 11 years and she passed away last Thursday. Pictures from my sons birth were destroyed today. There was no way to salvage any of them. Those are some wonderful memories that I will never get back. Ingredients: * GRAHAM CRUST(recipe follows) * 2 packages (8 oz. each) cream cheese, softened * 3/4 cup plus 2 tablespoons sugar, divided * 1/2 cup HERSHEY'S Cocoa * 2 teaspoons vanilla extract, divided * 2 eggs * 1 cup HERSHEY'S Semi-Sweet Chocolate Chips * 1 container (8 oz.) dairy sour cream Directions: 1. Prepare GRAHAM CRUST. Heat oven to 375°F. 2. Beat cream cheese, 3/4 cup sugar, cocoa and 1 teaspoon vanilla in large bowl until light and fluffy. Add eggs; beat until well blended. Stir in chocolate chips. Pour into prepared crust. 3. Bake 20 minutes. Remove from oven; cool 15 minutes. Increase oven temperature to 425°F. Stir together sour cream, remaining 2 tablespoons sugar and remaining 1 teaspoon vanilla in small bowl; stir until smooth. Spread evenly over baked filling. 4. Bake 10 minutes. The Distance Between Us.
Some of you may have noticed that I have been MIA this past week. Not to go into detail, but I was unavoidably detained...and that's a bit of an understatement. Holidays And Days Off

New Years Eve Rant

Homesick
Well, I'm just sittin' here feelin' totally sorry for myself... How can I be homesick when I'm at home? I'll tell you. I have no family in this town, other than my two girls who live with me. An container tanker drifted into an oil teminal in Rotterdam. 1.6 million liters of oil flooded into the water. 6 People got hut because trees crashed their cars. The Central Railway staotion in Amsterdam is partly closed cause parts of the roof clashed down.
