Why Im Depressed Lately... Or Part Of It
I have worked this 'job' since 2000, yes, 2000 I got hired in the produce dept. my first ever job, and it pretty much took good care of me as time went on.. I went to college in 2001-04, and then in '05 went to a full time position in a store I knew the manager well of. Make a lonnng story short, in '06 Is when I got promoted to a manager and worked (head on) with the essentials of the dept. I had to work on some self fullfilling strengths including leadership. Holding the guys respeonsible etc. for my plans. In other words, carrying out necessary task in an orderly manner. Often, because of my babyface or youthful look, I got no respect from my guys. So this year, in my 2nd store as a manager, (having been moved) closer to home, I got dropped down a level (took a pay cut) and it felt like tears wanting to shed my usual tough guy-self. It was my life. It was the very reason I had a roof over my head, nice car. But no, I gotta give up the car and start hitting the check book closer,

Good Day :)
I just feel like killing some time by posting a blog. :) I had a good day today. The class I'm teaching went smoothly and we didn't stay the whole time (3 1/2 hours) thank goodness. I got home around 3:30 and decided not to be a lazy ass and go do something. So I put on my bathing suit and headed to the pool. I took the book I'm reading with me. I finished the chapter I was on and read the next chapter too. It's a pretty decent read. The book is basically a woman's empowerment type thing. I then came home and was trying to decide what to make for dinner. I consulted my big spoon on an idea because it sounded odd, but my mom does it all the time. I decided to make bunless cheeseburgers for dinner with mashed potatoes and green beans. It was delicious! I've got to run to the store in a little while to get two things. I'm stressing about money, but I'm praying that it all works out. Well, that's all. Nothing earth shattering or even remotely interesting. Just me passing time. :)

The Stray Dog
Okay! So this all started Friday 7-10-09. The doctor I work for is going around the office looking for somebody to adopt this stray dog. After some time he seems to convince the office manager aka granny. This dog was a Dachshund, I say over 10 years old. The person that found him stated that he was like 6. Anyways! Lets continue, Granny ends up taking this dog home on Friday evening and loves it. Well till Sunday comes around I get a phone call from her asking if I wanted the dog. Well I then start to question her asking what is wrong with the dog and why didn't she want him no more. She then proceeds to tell me that the dog is depressed and lonely, that he needed a big family with kids. (Lets not forget I live in a big house with three kids and other people) As we proceed I agree to take this dog in on Monday, I bring him home, he is doing great the kids love him and my other dog Woody loves him! 13 years ago this morning my dad passed away. It still strikes me funny how it's been so long but yet it still feels like yesterday. I remember every detail of that morning. The Stephen Strasburg rookie card auction, that almost reached a million dollars on Ebay, has ended early and all bids were cancelled. The auction was ended at 8:17 EDT on 27 June 2010. The bid history showed that all bids were cancelled due to ending the auction early. My thought is those bidding, that did contact the owner, could not prove to to the owner's satisfaction they had the means to pay if they won the bid. Having Fun
My first day here, was very exciting because fixing my site up was easier than some of the other sites I am on. Here at Lostcherries it's much easier to understand.
