Rebuilding The Site
Lesson learned. # 1. Do not launch a web site until it is ready to be launched. Now that I have vented and released all my frustration and anger I have decided to rebuild the website. I am rebuilding the site but will not announce it as being ready for viewing until I know it is ready for viewing and it is COMPLETELY done. I will not be adding things to it in piece meal works. War Wagon
This is the "War Wagon" it is a bike that my great uncle and my dad built back in the early 70's. Yes it's a Knuckle. This thing is vicious. It has two 350 chevy pistons in it, and the valves are out of an old flat head licoln. For fun the two of them used to set up chairs with a cooler of beer, and watch friends kick `er over. On the compression stroke it would throw them over the handle bars. Becuase there is a special technique to start it, to this day only four people know the technique. The bike started out as a 1932 Harley Davidson Lighting. Now it sports a coffin gastank, chrome out the ass, and a sword down the backrest. Oringinaly the sword was removable,but it had to be welded before the sheriff would sign off on the title work. Not to mention all the other metal work. Calling The New York State Department Of Motor Vehicles
This has got to be BY FAR the hardest thing I've ever done. I've been dialing and redialing for over 20 minutes STRAIGHT and the line's busy busy busy!!! Let me give you some history here. I owned a 1995 Nissan Pathfinder 4x4 when I was still living in New York. Well, it was no longer driveable, so I cancelled insurance on it. Little did I know that in New York, even non-driveable vehicles are REQUIRED to have minimum insurance on it. So they suspended my license. Now I'm trying to call in to pay my $25.00 suspension termination fee so I can get my Colorado state driver's license. DAMN these people. I mean don't get me wrong, I thought I was going to have to pay like $500. So I'm happy about that. But they want me to spend ALL DAMN DAY on the phone trying to get through to them, pay my $25.00 suspension termination fee, then have me wait a week before getting my Colorado license because that's how long it takes for it to update in the national database. This morning I woke up to yet another bizarre dream. It started with me discovering that there was a disjointed floating head,torso, and arms in the house with us. Firefighting
Would like to say that being a volutneer firefighter has it up and down to it. I have been doing this for the last 15 years and hope to keep doing for the next 10 years. Because I like helping other people in need because back in April of 1992 i was a person that need help from the local fire company because my house caught on fire around 2:00 a.m. If anyone has had this happen to them please leave a comment and ask any qeustion about help other people like I do. Last week I was in Atlanta , Georgia attending a conference. While I was in the airport, returning home, I heard several people behind me beginning to clap and cheer. I immediately turned around and witnessed one of the greatest act's of patriotism I have ever seen. Moving thru the terminal was a group of soldiers in their camo's, as they began heading to their gate everyone (well almost everyone) was abruptly to their feet with their hands waving and cheering. When I saw the soldiers, probably 30-40 of them, being applauded and cheered for it hit me. I'm not alone. A 10-year-old child found dead in her family's apartment in central Kentucky was routinely belittled and lived in fear of upsetting her father, relatives and neighbors said. McCaylah Watkins' bruised and lifeless body was found in her family's Winchester apartment Sunday. Her father Patrick Watkins, 30, and his wife, Joy Watkins, were charged with first-degree criminal abuse on a child under 12. Police said their investigation lead them to file more charges against the couple. New Job
Was on the phone earlier with my old boss. Early last year, I left my old plumbing company after 10 years of service to try something new for someone else, as much as I tried to stick it out here, it sucked. The new company was unorganized and unstable, they went from 300+ guys to less than 180 in a matter of months and now they're laying off 40 more. There are substantiated rumors of charges from the INS for knowingly hiring illegal immagrants, pulling illegal permits and there's a list that follows that I won't get into. My boss had called me a couple of times to see if I would go back...well, long story short, I'll be going this friday to fill out my employment papers. He made me an offer that I couldn't turn down. Friday afternoon, family, friends and anyone who has been touched by the death of ten-year-old Michaela Watkins gathered at the Church of the Living God in Winchester to say their last good-byes before she was laid to rest. Press into an 8" glass pan. Bake at 350f for 15-20 minutes until golden. 'COOL' (2) Beat cheese, icing sugar and vanilla together until smooth. Fold in 1/2 the whipped cream. Spread over COOLED crust. Refridgerate. (3) Prepare pie filling according to directions (omitting butter) Cool to luke warm, stirring occasionally. Spread over cheese layer. Refridgerate until cold. (4) Spread remaining whipped cream over lemon layer. Refridgerate. Garnish with sliced almonds, just before serving.

Whew! The Dumpster Left This Morning
Whew! The dumpster left this morning Current mood: accomplished Category: Life We worked our butts off to get rid of a lot of stuff this past few weeks. I'm really proud of both kids for pitching in to get the stuff out of here. The dumpster was full of shingles and household items that have needed to leave this house for a while but just couldn't let go of it. What helped me? I had bought a book a few years ago that I never sat down to read until this past year and it talks about the reasons, mental, physical and economic impact keeping "souveniers" has on a person's life. It also talked about alternatives to keeping things. It REALLY helped alot. Next comes gearing up for the garage sale. Now that I have room to go through all the boxes. I can finally break everything down into sections like I have wanted to do for some time but didn't have the space. Got it now! Yeah! Moving
Moving...one word that says so much. I am moving out of my first house and into my first condo in a week. I never imagined this move a few months ago but then it started to become a reality and now it's actually going to happen. The boxes are getting packed. Things we no longer need are getting thrown away or given to others. It's funny how things you thought you needed can become disposable. All of my albums are going away... I am done moving them. I rarely play them and all they are is a reminder of times that I really don't want to remember now that I look back on it. Hopefully, someone will find them and appreciate them for what they are. They were good to me and got me through high school and the brief time I tried to be a university student. Life goes on. It's an HD-DVD, Blu-ray kind of world now and my LP record collection is holding me back. They are too large, too heavy, too cumbersome to keep lugging from place to place. July 1st - Vegas Road Trip - The Beginning
And it begins.... Its now 7:30 AM and we have the durango all packed up. The vehicle seems like it is ready and roadworthy. Right now Sunshyne and Angel Eyes are in the bathroom doing what females do best. Making themselves prettier then they already are but as you know females have to get those last few and final touches in to complete the whole picture. Hopefully we are out of here by 8 AM. Hopefully today we will knock out at least 10+ hours of driving. The road to Vegas calls for a total of 28 hours drive time and 2000 miles. But we will drive as far as possible today before stopping this evening. Tattoo Shop Blues
well its another day here in PA and its hot and im feeling troubled. Im working really hard to open a shop but it seems like everything is working against me. Yet another project that seems impossible, but anything worth doing is worth working hard to get right? But i have hooked up with some great people to do this with. so i will keep plugging away at this. How Is Cystic Fibrosis Diagnosed? First, your doctor will obtain a detailed medical and family history and perform a thorough physical examination. Friday The 13th
Normally this is my lucky day. Today....not so lucky. Well, unless you count the fact that an $85 battery fixed my dead car in the 85+ degree heat. Oy! That was fun. Was So Heart Wrenching Couldn't Finish Watching It.
I've got to admit that this tore me up, I actually cried and couldn't finish watching it...but my little sister works at the Jacksonville Zoo in Jacksonville, Florida. She and I can attest first hand that atleast the animals at that Zoo are treated with positive rienforcement. If I hadn't lost everything on my old hard drive I have pictures of my little sister with the elephants, the lions, Bonobos, chimps, kangaroos, smow leopards, jaguars, and the smaller animals that the animal abassadors take around to the elementary schools. My sister has gone so far as to not leaving certain sanctuaries that it has been rumored the animals were mistreated.
