just got back from an alcoholics anonymous meeting, and boy do I feel great.
seen an old friend I hadn't seen in years, at the meeting before it started and I thought for sure he would be speaking since he is from out of town. didn't' ask him though since I figured I would find out soon enuff, once I went in and got my coffee and sat down I saw a man in a red sweater, only saw the back of him but thought fuck I know that man, but the meeting at started so I didn't go over, thought I would wait till after the meeting. the moment the chair person said where the speaker was from I instantly knew who it was, it was jim my sponsor. yes it did, well seeing both ron and jim did, it has been a while since I felt this good. there is something about see the old timers that were there when u were fresh to the program, the ones that help u get going. so I sat there and waved till he seen me and I'm not sure if he knew who I was at first since it had been over a year since we last seen each other. the first thing he said to me afterwards is you got time for a coffee in afterwards,
