Michael called me today and apparently Kandi is getting screwed over with trying to get Saturday off. Supposedly John (her boss) told her that he is trying to get a hold of me and that is bull shit because the MF hadnt called me once! I keep telling them to report that his daughter works there to in order to get his ass in trouble. I fucking would! He does this to Kandi all the fucking time. Sad Day In My Family 11/18/07
My uncle passed away on Friday, November 16, 2007. He made it 10 days past his 78th birthday which was November 6, 1929. My other uncle is hopefully going to make it from his stroke. It was a rainy day today. It seems as though when there's a funeral it rains. I mentioned it to a friend of mine, and he said, that even the angels have to cry when someone is taken away from us. I know that he is in a better place and not suffering anymore.

Another Satisfying Football Weekend
Well it's 5 pm on Sunday. I've had a really good weekend, watching my Packers win their game earlier over the Panthers, pushing their record to 9-1. I am looking forward to their next two games. They should be very telling on the success we'll be having for the rest of the season and the playoffs. The Badgers won their game yesterday, keeping a hold of Paul Bunyan's Axe, beating the Minnesota Golden Gophers 41-34. Another positive was Penn State losing to Michigan St., so it's possible that Wisconsin will be playing on New Year's Day. I love football almost as much as I love my friends here on fubar :D

Today has been a very exhausting day. I had church choir practice, sunday school, and church this morning, which is always enjoyable. But today was slightly different. I am also in the choir at the University that I attend. So my today, actually started way back in August, but the stress started yesterday with dress rehersal. We started DR at 1015 am, and concluded around 12. Making sure that all soloist, instrumentalist, and logistics were all squared away. The today, starting with my morning this morning, then home for about an hour the off to the college for the concert. The concert started today at 3 and we concluded about an hour later. I will say that everything went ok. Soloist (me included in that) all did well, the instrumentalist all did well, and the choir pieces that we performed seemed greatly appreciated by the audience. ok so i'm feeling philosophical again lol. another form of science has caught my eye "Alchemy". the laws by which life is measured. the one law that caught me the most was the Alchemist law of relativity of gain and loss. It basically states that for every major gain there is an equally major loss. now think about this. is this not 100% true in all things? look at aging for example. say you turn 21. you gain one full year on your life that is your major gain. now your major loss is that you have lost one year on your lifespan. if you are to live to be 100 years old you now only have 79 years left as compared to when you were 20 and you have 80 years left. catch my drift?? lets try another example. you get married. you gain a full fledged relationship with someone but you lose the freedom that comes from being single. starting to see the pattern here? ok now heres your test. try to find one thing that you can gain without haveing an equal loss. bet ya cant do it.

I Hate Mandatory Overtime.
Yesterday, I had mandatory overtime. I had to do 16 hours, then go in today. We have a list everyday of people who have to work overtime. I was not on it the previous day so did not expect to be second on the list. If I had known I would have been prepared, I would have brought a sandwich for the evening and a snack for the night. The sandwich would have been turkey and 2 slices of wheat bread while the snack would have been some grapes. There is no refridgeration at work for the employees to use. And with only 15 minutes for a break, that makes it impossible to go anywhere for food. The building is parish owned and they are slow on doing anything to improve the working conditions for the sheriff office employees. Everyone know that if you work a high stress job it is important to eat right and to get enough sleep. On top of that I was recently dianosed as a type 2 diabetic, so meals are very important.

One day a farmer's donkey fell down into a well. The animal cried piteously for hours as the farmer tried to figure out what to do. Finally, he decided the animal was old, and the well needed to be covered up anyway; it just wasn't worth it to retrieve the donkey. He invited all his neighbors to come over and help him. Glazed Turkey With Sweet Potato Dressing
3 sweet potatoes, peeled and cubed 1 orange, rind finely grated, juice squeezed and reserved 1 tablespoon butter or margarine, melted, divided use 1 medium onion, chopped 1 carrot, scrubbed and chopped 1 celery rib, trimmed and chopped 1/2 cup chopped peeled parsnip 1 teaspoon ground sage 1 (approximately 10-pound) turkey 1. Stuffing: Place sweet potatoes in a saucepan and cover with water. Simmer 15 minutes, or until tender. Drain, mash, and stir in the grated orange rind. 2. Cajun Deep Fried Turkey
1/2 cup kosher salt 3 tablespoons onion powder 3 tablespoons black pepper 3 tablespoons white pepper 2 tablespoons sweet basil 2 teaspoons bay leaves, ground 1 tablespoon cayenne pepper 2 teaspoons filé powder 3 tablespoons garlic powder 1 1/2 tablespoons paprika 1 (10 to 12-pound) whole turkey, non self-basting 4 to 5 Gallons peanut oil, See Note 1. Beer Can Turkey
1 (9 to 10 pound) whole turkey, thawed or fresh 2 teaspoons dry mustard 2 teaspoons granulated onion 2 teaspoons paprika 2 teaspoons kosher salt 1 teaspoon granulated garlic 1 teaspoon ground coriander 1 teaspoon ground cumin 1 teaspoon freshly ground black pepper 1/4 cup canola oil 12 to 24 ounces beer 1. Really Really Sick....help
So I've been really sick for the last month and the doctors have no clue whats going on at all. So basically I have this horrible pain in my lower abdominal area on the right side. Its not appendicitis. Sometimes it gets so bad that I can't move and I cry a lot. If anyone has been through this or has any ideas let me know. The last thing I want to do is write this here. So last night me and Paul broke up (officially). I didnt cry. I didnt yell or scream. I just sat here in silence and disbelief. well guys it has been a week now and i have been having contractions. they are stopping them due to the fact they found a infection. yea for me. they are telling me that when the infection is gone they will not stop the contractions. i am 1ctr diolated and 50% effaced. I was just sitting here with my back to the TV listening to some sports analysts talk about the Barry Bonds controversy. They posed the question, "Is his home run record now tainted?" and it just cracks me up! Why would it not be? I love baseball, but major league baseball lost it's appeal to me a couple of strikes (the union kind) ago, when players more or less stated they did not need the fans and contended they could not live on a mere million a year. Even back then you could pick out the players on steroids - the ones showing aggressive celebrations after the most mediocre plays and blimping up like zeppelins. Football is a sport that thrives on aggression, but even so you can spot the players who are likely using steroids. They are the ones who make in-your-face gestures towards the opposition and in a showy celebration after a mediocre play, rather than slap their teammates. Beowulf
I saw this movie yesterday. Its interesting for a couple of reasons. The number one is technically, its visually impressive. The 3-D animation process is probably one of the most lifelike movies every made of this genre. That said, there is a reason this movie is PG-13. The sex and violence in this movie has a different feel than in a 2-D movie. You see Angelina Jolie in all her beauty nude on the screen. Probably the most we have seen of her since GIA. She is breathtaking as the seductress, even enough that she was taken back by how she looked in the movie. The storyline is well known as a Norse fantasy tale with dragons and demons. So if you enjoy that genre this movie is a must see. Seeing it in 3d is the reason to spend the extra money to see it in the theater. An enjoyable couple of hours.

Christmas Cake Recipe
You'll need the following: 1 cup of water 1 cup of sugar 4 large brown eggs 2 cups of dried fruit 1 teaspoon of salt 1 cup of brown sugar Lemon juice Nuts 1 bottle of whisky Sample the whisky to check for quality. Take a large bowl. Check the whisky again. To be sure it's the highest quality, pour one level cup and drink. Repeat. Turn on the electric mixer, beat one cup of butter in a large fluffy bowl. Add one teaspoon of sugar and beat again. Make sure the whisky is still OK. Cry another tup. Tune up the mixer. Beat two leggs and add to the bowl and chuck in the cup of dried fruit. Mix on the turner. If the fired druit gets stuck in the beaterers, pry it goose with a drewscriver. Sample the whisky to check for tonsisticity. Next, sift two cups of salt. Or something. Who cares? So I am putting out a short list of books that I personally like. There are many, many books on energywork from all sorts of perspectives available. Officials seized 2,400 bottles late last month during warehouse raids in Nashville and Lynchburg, the southern Tennessee town where the whiskey is distilled. "Punish the person, not the whiskey," said an outraged Kyle MacDonald, 28, a Jack Daniel's drinker from British Columbia who promotes the whiskey on his blog. Well, after my CD's were returned to me from an ex, I replayed that bad boy and I freaking fell in love with it all over again. Also, how much I loved "And All That Could've Been". Pictures Of Children On Fubar...
Here's my opinion, take it or leave it... I was looking at a profile here on fubar, and I came across something rather disturbing. I was looking in a folder NOT marked NSFW. There were at least 50 pictures in the folder However, side by side there was a picture of man holding his daughter, and next to that picture, the same man fucking some chick... All I could think was...wow...I did flag the 2nd mentioned picture NSFW, not because I'm a hater, but because it's NSFW. But what disturbs me more, is that this man had it RIGHT NEXT TO THE PICTURE OF HIS DAUGHTER!! Who, I might mention, couldn't have been more than 3 years old. I hope to god I'm not the only one who seen this man's profile and found it "disturbing" I also hope I am not the only one who reported it. If I am, I'm seriously dissapointed in alot of people. Life Libertyand The Pursuit Of Christmass
So here we are approaching christmas rather rapidly.. So many changes have been undergoing in my direction, im slightly bummed about not putting up a tree this year, but unfortunately because this past years been so rough on me, Im making the best of the situations. I generally like christmas and i love driving around and looking at christmas lights and such, and i still have yet to do that this year as well. This blog really doesnt have much of a point except for the the fact that i havent written much in awhile so i figured id type and see what comes to mind. I really am hoping 2008 will be a good year.. it seems the years are starting to go by quicker then they did when i was younger.. I guess thats because when your older theres not a whole lot to look forward to.. the 18th,21st and 30th Bdays came and went.. social security and retirement are pretty much all thats left from a general standpoint. Im thinking maybe marriage is next and quite possbilly a kid or 2 but who knows.

I am watching a documentary call KKK: A Secret History on the History Channel and it's so sad to see people hate, just because someone look different than them or they think that a black person is less than human. With confederate flags waving, hood wearing and cross burning...and for what? I think, because I am not from this country, I might not understand the nuances, but I can understand hate and know that it is not right. I am not talking about just not liking someone. It's everyone's right not to like anyone for any reason, but no one has the right to hurt someone just because or deprive them of their happiness just because. I know I am rambling, but the documentary is hitting hard. *sigh* I can only hope for a better world for my children.

Thoughts Of The Evening
...my life feels like an enternal fiery pit of abandonment wrapped in grief and fury. I feel as though i'm waiting on a cold monsoon to wash away the sorrow, and endless suffering i'm forced endure. However that monsoon has already dried and turned to dust....it'll never make it to my world in the time i need it in. I happen to think a classy picture of someones face far more appealing and a hell of alot sexier that a person sprawled spread eagle on a bed. However, I do not condemn people who choose to do that. To each his own. But you wont find them in my photo albums. I've already stated in my profile that I'm not a skinny girl. If you were one of the people asking me to post a "full body shot" move on...You can be "a little T.O.'d because you haven't seen a body shot, yet" (I heart Kip!) Random Stuff
I am finished moving into my new house. It is down the road from where I used to live. About a mile in fact. It is a two story with upstairs balcony and downstairs porch. It was constructed sometime in the 1920's. It features 1700 square feet of heated living space and two acres of wooded land. There is hardly anything around for that it is in a very rural area. My Great Danes are asleep and I am downloading some music. I have been busting my ass all week through moving furniture, painting, pressure washing and still maintaining a private school campus. My back hurts and it is quite cold outside. I am still looking forward to rain, massive amounts of rain, actually. This is due to the fact that my area of the far North Georgia mountains are in a level four drought. I use well water and it is down to only about 12 feet with the backup being 6.
