'pressure' Killed Anthrax Suspect
'Pressure' killed anthrax suspect The death of a US scientist suspected of anthrax attacks in 2001 was a result of "relentless accusation and innuendo", his lawyer has said. A US medical examiner confirmed that Dr Bruce Ivins, 62, killed himself after being told he was about to be charged. His lawyer said his client's innocence would have been proved in court. Officials declined to give details of the probe but sources said prosecutors were to seek the death penalty over the attacks that claimed five lives. The anthrax, which was posted to media offices and politicians shortly after the 11 September attacks in 2001, made another 17 people sick. The sole deadly biological attack on US soil severely rattled a public already nervous of further terrorist action. About Resting With Angels
I would like to take the opportunity to share the inspiration of this page. It was late one night and was alone in a hotel room in Gila Bend Arizona. Most people never heard of that place unless you watch the weather channel. It is the hottest place in the US. Well there I am in this towm of 1700 people to visit my father that is ill from cancer. Thank god for wifi internet access at least i could surf the net. Went to Fubar as usuall and was talking to one of my dearest friends. Thank You For Being My Friend - Regine Velasquez How can I ever possibly thank everyone? After getting hacked and deleted in the moring on 7/31, I had a new account up and running by about 6pm Central. If you look in my folder I have screen shots of some of my levels along with the times. I started on 7/31 at around 7pm and at 11:39 I was already at level 16. It's now 8/1 and at about 7:10pm Central you got me to level 19 and at 10pm Central Level 20. Again, I am truly stunned, shocked, amazed and so very thankful for each and every one of you. I'm on my way home this evening, passing a side road where a car was turning out of and this asswipe hit me. I was going to pull over but when I looked in the rear view they were speeding off. What An Interesting Summer!
Lammas blessings for one and all! I have not had the opportunity to write another "real" blog entry since my move. Haven't decided if I'm going to forge ahead with a rather long one.....or divide it into two smaller ones. We'll see what I decide! For those who are not aware, the 3 teens and I now live in a duplex of our own. This was made official on July 1. I had one month to sort, throw, pack, and move. Lot's of crap got moved, as well; so I am now going through boxes and tubs, slowly getting rid of things that no longer fit my life and who I am now. The guys have done pretty well. Taylor has been a blessing, trying to keep the other guys on the "straight and narrow" with some small success, lol. I will admit that saying Isn't really the right one. But that being said Football Season Starts this weekend. Yes some would say preseason doesn't count and maybe they are correct. If you get NFL Network then on Saturday you can watch the Hall of Fame inductions and speeches. I'm sure after the fact you will be able to see them on other sports shows and maybe it will be on line. Then on Sunday at 8pm on NBC the first real Preseason game The Hall of Fame Game is on. It will be the Colts vs. (my) Washington Redskins. I have no idea how long any of the starters will play or if they will at all, but it is the HOF Game they should play them all. Had A Wreck Today
Yeah, I had just left my house. Got to stop sign at end of my street and my van jerked when I put on my brakes. I had to make my turn in a hurry cause a car was coming and my van wouldnt stop. Drove up the street to a 4-way intersection (had a stop light) van wouldnt stop even after I mashed on my brakes. I ended up rearending a woman in front of me. But if she hadnt been there my van would have went off in the middle of the intersection. That would have been a totaly disaster. Anyhow, I was freaked out and crying before I or the woman even got out of our vehicles. Two McAlester officers showed up on the seen and 1 of them asked if I could drive my van to move it out of the way. I told him no my brakes were gone. He then opened my door and applied his foot to the brake and saw that yes indeed I had no brakes. They checked our drivers licenses and insurances and let the woman go. This information may be something to remember, as this season will soon be here again... It might be wise to carry a penny in your pocket while working in the yard......... BEE STINGS ! A couple of weeks ago, I was stung by both a bee and hornet while working in the garden. My arm swelled up, so I went to the doctor. The clinic gave me cream and an antihistamine. The next day the swelling was getting progressively worse, so I went to my regular doctor. The arm was Infected and needed an antibiotic.The doctor told me - ' The next time you get stung, put a penny on the bite for 15 minutes'. That night, my niece was stung by two bees. I looked at the bite and it had already started to swell. So, I taped a penny to her arm for 15 minutes. The next morning, there was no sign of a bite. We decided that she just wasn't allergic to the sting. Soon, I was gardening outside. I got stung again, twice by a hornet on my left hand. I thought, here I go again to the doc

Just going to type. I feel a need to empty my head and the words that tumble from said cranium may or may not make any sense to any unsuspecting, passing reader. The Saga Of My Gimpy Knee And Leg...
Finally saw the Orthopedic surgeon today... After waiting a month to see him, I finally got in to see the orthopedic surgeon this morning. My left kneecap has no cartilage behind it and its displaced to the side. Surgery can be done to properly position the kneecap, but due to the selling in my leg it can't be done. He had no answer as to the cause of the swelling in my leg. He did order injections of a lubricating fluid into the knee joint to reduce the irritation and those will start in two weeks. As for the cyst, it's caused by the irritation of the joint and he's not going to directly treat the cyst, so I'm stuck with it for now. I'm not real pleased with the lack of answers to date or solutions to the swelling in my leg, so I called my primary care doctor to let him know and maybe he can get better answers for me! So that's it for now...

My Life In Termoil
I haven't been getting on and probably won't for awhile. I am in a state of severe depression. I have been figting my ex for my children off on on for two years now. Well...on Monday Marc asked me to marry him and he gave me my ring. It is so beautiful!!! We are going to get married on 4-4-09. He wanted to get married on 4-20-09, but that was a Monday. Oh well. I bought a bird feeder. I hung it on my back porch and filled it with seed. Within a week we had hundreds of birds taking advantage of the continuous flow of free and easily accessible food. But then the birds started building nests in the boards of the patio, above the table, and next to the barbecue. Then came the poop. It was everywhere: on the patio tile, the chairs, the table...everywhere. Then some of the birds turned mean: They would dive bomb me and try to peck me even though I had fed them out of my own pocket. New Apartment
I moved into my new apartment yesterday, yay! It's really nice, I'm excited. The drawback is we don't get cable/internet until next Friday. Cajun Sausage Dressin'
For those of you that are not "in the know," dressin' is Southern for stuffin'. And yes, The "g" sound at the end is VERBOTEN! I made some last night for my friends and it went over very well, so I thought I'd share the recipe. Feel free to do the Scott Thompson "Sausages" routine from Kids in the Hall while making this, cause I did. And if you don't know KitH, you suck ass. The awesome thing about Cajun is that you can make like the most gigantic pot of it ever and eat it for like two weeks. You could also add and subtract at will, every recipe can be easily halved or doubled. A First For Me As A Dad...
So, I was doing "airplane" with my four-month-old son, and I didn't realize he'd just eaten. You parents out there can see where this is going, but for the benefit of non-parents, read on. As I said, I was doing "airplane" with him, and we were on the futon in our library. He loves airplane, but this one turned out WAY bad. You know those moments where everything suddenly seems to run in super slow motion? This was one of them. A couple weeks ago my neighbor decided to move away from his home. Upon leaving, my family and I both noticed cats stranded in the house that he had moved from. Three cats to be exact. We gave it some time to see if the previous owner would return to get his animals. No such luck. As the days got longer and the heat got worse we started to fear for the animals because of not seeing them in the window until about 2 days ago. Understanding Moving On
PART 1 I have been sitting here trying to figure out how to write this for the last couple of hours, even been trying to figure out a name for this blog. Well I guess a title is about finding oneself after a marriage. I am not here to bash woman, because of the wrong doing of one. Everyone has there point of view on their own life and how the outcomes became to be. I guess that since I am a guy it is assumed that I am the one in a marriage that did wrong, and that all guys are the same. Its funny i sit here day after day trying to think of what to write as my fingertips rest over the keys and nothing nothing happens. I used to be able to write with ease no problems, my feelings would just pore out on to the paper or in to the computer but now it takes so much for me just to think of a word, the right word to express how I fell I don't know if it is because I am older or just because i have become so used to the pain and disappointment in my life that I don't feel the need to write it all down any more. AS most of you know my father is a fire fighter, hence the name. He has been gone since sunday night, he is one of the thousands fireman fighting the mariposa fires. I guess a part of me is proud and a part of me is selfish because I want him home. He has been a fireman for over 30 years and he knows what he's doin. How Private Are Your Private Pictures On Fubar?
You might be surprised at just how freely available your pictures marked as private or NSFW really are. I recently found out that I could view the full size version of any picture on Fubar as long as I could view the thumbnail version of the supposed private picture. So to show just how this works I setup a test picture album that can be found here. Notice how the album shows that there are several pictures in the album, but when you go to the album, there are only two pictures viewable. This got me to asking myself; How do they protect the integrity of privacy here? As I found out, they don't do much. All pictures are stored as image files directly accessible to anybody on the Internet that knows the file name. So, how do you get the file name of the full size image? Simple, You get it from the thumbnail version and simply remove a couple characters from the file name. My Down And Depressed Poem To My Friends And Family
Some days I just don't know what to do, then I decide to just sit and think About the what ifs, what about and why.... Would it be better just to have a drink?
