Trouble Breathing
Sorting the flat out yesterday, and I was shredding some old bank stuff, and I think I inhaled some paper dust or something, because yesterday evening I started getting really wheezy. 11th Wedding Anniversary

At around 4:40 p.m., Boardman fire and police departments responded to what they at first thought was a car fire, said Oregon State Police Lt. Greg Sherman. Later, he said, officers discovered a motorcycle was thrown underneath the front end of the truck. The truck and motorcycle burned until firefighters extinguished the blaze at around 4:57. i was in the gym of an old school of mine. Ozzy and HIM were playibg a concert. and, they were... you know, how, in gyms, the little team logo is usually on a circle on the floor? well, they were standing in that like a stage. I really love living in Florida. Where else can you be a short drive from soul-satisfying salt water; breath-taking rivers and springs; all the mind-blowing amusement parks? Dream - A Great Day For My Students
Last night was a good night to dream I was attending a grand gala, so grand I was in a tux with a top hot. I knew I had it going on :) The gala took place over several rooms of this fictitious high-end shopping mall my mind often uses. The event was to celebrate my students. They had pulled off something marvelous and everyone was there to celebrate. It began with a dinner - they even had something vegetarian for me. Another male who looked a bit like Will Farrell was my co-teacher and he had prepared a powerpoint show to "roast" our students in a goof natured way and he asked me to play along - no problem I can do funny improv. Right after the salad, my students presented us with a photo album. Each had a 5x7 headshot and the album was dedicated to one of our students who died during our class. We all got weepy, me too. After dinner, we went to another part of the mall for the awards. It was a bit tricky to get to and we had to do a bit of rehearsal to get it right.

Enhanced Member Profile Ratings
*****FROM BABYJ'S BLOG***** hey everyone, i've made some tweaks to the way member profile ratings work over the last 24 hours. the changes reduce the load on our system by a huge amount and also have the side effect of letting people earn more points by rating other members more often. basically, it works the same way as the photo rating system. you can now rate someone every 7 days, and every 7 days (or anytime after that) you'll both receive full credit for the rating (including rating count). just as before, you can *always* re-rate anyone at anytime, but if it hasn't been 7 days you won't get any points/credit for it. previously, a member could only rate another member once... and that was it. i think this new way is more fun and gives everyone a reason to show their friends more love, more often. if you notice any problems with the new system, feel free to post here. cheers! Ok, now that I have your attention I just wanted to update all my peeps in the land of fu.. on the goings on in my life. First of all.. at the end of May i met someone. He is .. amazing.. We actually work together and have known each other since March, but nothing happened until then. Its good.. he makes me happy so far.. and time will tell eh? Secondly, I got a new job. Okay so I just got back from the hospital. My grandma is in the ER. She went in by ambulance at like 8a this morning with chest palpitations and high blood pressure. They have given her tons of meds and nothing seems to be helping much. They did a chest x-ray and found nothing. They did a ultrasound on her gallbladder and found a legion on her liver. That could be caused by the breast cancer that she had not to long ago. They said that they got all of it but some got in her blood stream but not to worry about it. She has been taking her meds for that. She is getting transferred as we speak to a Kasier hospital out in Irvine to go to their ER. After that then they will decide what they want to do. Gas Is High, But...
Today's Pat on the Back goes to the check out clerk at my little town's Convenient Mart. As I was checking out today there was an old man ahead of me paying for gas. He told her he owed "40 dollars and 16 cents". There are four pumps there. The clerk looked on the monitor and then asked him what pump he was using. He did not know, but continued trying to give her two twenties and a one. She looked again asked him one more if he was sure. This guy was about 90, mumbled as he spoke, and I made my mind up I would be careful and watch him get back in his car to leave. Finally the clerk smiled and said, "Oh I see. Sir, you do not owe $40.16. You pumped 4.016 gallons. You were looking at the wrong line. You only owe $16.26". He wasn't convinced, argued some more, until finally she was able to explain what the figures on the pump meant. Am I to be happy? I dwell so deep within myself that I have never seen the light of day. The past never happened, the future will never come, and the present isn't real. Depression is a part of everyday life. The birds chirp for someone else, The day warms the lives of everyone, but me. Letter From Grandma
One day I recieved a letter from grandma... The other day I went up to a local Christian bookstore and saw a "honk if you love Jesus" bumper sticker. I just got off the phone with my agent. Every time I talk to him I get depressed. I am getting a bit on the old side for my job, I know this and accept it as fact. Hi all. This will be my last blog post on Fubar. Simply put, today is my last day. I am deleting the account at 10pm PST (11pm MST, midnight CST and 1am EST). I no longer feel the need for attention that drove my time here for so long. China to stop eating dogs for August Olympics Canine cuisine is being sent to the doghouse during next month's Beijing Olympic Games. Dog meat has been struck from the menus of officially designated Olympic restaurants and Beijing tourism officials are telling other outlets to discourage consumers from ordering dishes made from dogs, the official Xinhua News Agency reported Friday. Waiters and waitresses should "patiently" suggest other options to diners who order dog, it said, quoting city tourism bureau Vice Director Xiong Yumei. Dog, known in Chinese as "xiangrou," or "fragrant meat," is eaten by some Chinese for its purported health-giving qualities.
