New 'mum' Update ......
Hi I hope you are well and having a good week. I am still having tremendous support from some really great friends on here so i thought i would give you the latest update on my mum's battle with cancer. She was still struggling with her breathing after the latest chest infection that landed her in hospital but she was coping with the help of her nebuliser which she was using 4 times a week. The thing she was really struggling with though is the terrible fatigue. She is so tired she is fighting to stay awake in the afternoon and evenings and this is getting her 'down'. On Monday the had some bad pains in one of her arms and hand and within a couple of hours she had lost all use of the arm and hand. As you can imagine she was terrified so we got to the hospital but the doctors don't really know why this has happened. Her chemo session was cancelled today because there could be a connection with her chemo but she has to have a brain scan and some x-rays. She will be seeing

Newman Agrees To Drive For Stewart-haas
Posted: July 30, 2008 Sporting News staff report Ryan Newman, driver of the No. 12 Penske Dodge, has agreed verbally to drive for Stewart-Haas Racing next season, according to ESPN.com sources. The 30-year-old has been in limbo for a 2009 driver's seat since declaring that he and Penske Racing were parting ways. Joe Gibbs Racing President J.D. Gibbs confirmed Sunday that Newman was not being considered for a ride at JGR next season. Once a deal is signed, Newman will drive the No. 4 car, and two-time Sprint Cup champion Tony Stewart will be in the No. 14 for Stewart-Haas. Stewart spokesman Mike Arning told ESPN.com that talks are ongoing with several drivers and that "any verbal agreement with a particular driver is premature." ok so i just got a phone call about my mom. i'm going up there in a litte bit, i will probly spend the night there. anywho, she's progressing. she is breathing on her own now. but still getting alot of treatment for her breathing and what not. she had 5 bipasses. and they told her if she wouldn't have went to the er when she did, she would have been dead within two days. her sugars are still way out of control. even when she is not eating she is still regersting at atleast 360. they will not let her go until those get under control a little better. we got her some resources, so she can get a new meter and her insulin for free, because she does not have insurance. the doctors said they are going to check with giant eagle, and if they can they are going to put her on the $4 meds. she will have to take cardiac meds the rest of her life. my mom is very stubborn and has never listened to doctos. hopefully, this was a kick in the ass to get her to listen. she's got

Just a thought... Did you ever think that perhaps we may already be dead ? that maybe we're just recycled souls ? Being spawned in different parts of the world. Night Of 7/30
Well, before I went to bed I set the humidifier to the lowest setting and fitted the mask better. I started out with the chin strap and the mask, but got tired of the chin strap about halfway through the night. I took it off. A couple hours later, I woke up with the air coming into my nose and directly out of my mouth. So I put the chinstrap back on. I'm still a bit tired and I have a headache, but I figure these things will go away once I'm used to the CPAP.

Thought this would be the easiest way for my friends all to know that I still love em and I'm missing Fubar, but if you remember I did a mumm and asked for advice about taking on a new job. Well I did, and it's been alot of big changes all at once. The biggest being the fact that I went from working 3 days to working 6-7 days a week. Boring Life Stuffs
So tonight hubby and I and friends went to the Ravinia Festival, which is an outdoor event where you sit in lawn chairs in a field while someone is performing on stage. Tonight it was Chicago Symphony Orchestra performing Beethoven, and all over sudden an enormous nostalgia swept over me. I have been playing in a symphony orchestra for over 10 years, and had to quit just recently because of my work schedule. I miss performing downtown in a beautiful Navy Pier Ballroom, traveling to other countries with the orch, and reading orch music in general. This was amplified by my conductor asking me recently to come back and be a principal of second violins for his orchestra at NEIU and me turning it down. I love working nights, but for health reasons can't afford orch rehearsals and being on night audit. Grrrr Grrr Grrrrr

The Zoo
I went to the zoo one hot SUMMER day with a bunch of friends. It was me, CHEF JAY, JENUHPHUR, HELLYION, ROBIN, SCHAD, JOHN SMITH JR and KRISSY. We ate lunch at a barbeque joint called GOD BLESS TEXAS and since we were drinking RUMDUMB we were feeling a little FIESTY. (except JENUHPHUR, she drank SPRITE) By the time we got to the zoo HELLYION had smeared her LIPSTICK all over CHEF JAY's 2BALL and his DRILL. But thats another story. As we filed out of SCHAD's volkswagon SCARABUS I fell down and hit my MCBOING BOING. I also spilled my JUICE on KRISSY's TA TA's. (if you could see her (RAGE) We saw lots of animals including DONKEYPIGS, FLUFFY THE RHINO's, CUBBY's, SEAMUSBUFFALO's and a IDAHO CATDOG named MISFIT. WE even saw the rare BABYBLUE RUSSIAN FOXX named BLUDGEON. We didnt get to see the SPIKECOON cause it had the FLU and was taking VITAMIN DE. Everybody has a sad story to tell and mine is no different. On September, 3rd ,1981 It was my parents anniversary, I was working at a pizza place at age 16. I took out the nightly trash and a guy came up from behind me and pushed a gun in the back of my neck just my under my ear. He walked me into the back of the restaurant. The owner was in the kitchen and he waved the gun and forced in the freezer. He made us lay down and put the gun to my head. The only thought I had was I got to talk to my parents that night to wish them well. Another employee walked in and he ran away. I never told my parents, i just got angry. I would pick fight with anybody that was bigger than me. Just to prove I could beat them up. So one night I got in a fight with a senior football player. I stood my ground and got some nice shots in. Well...things have changed yet again... The ex and I are working on fixing things and getting back together. Blissed Out On B12...

Finally Some Good News
Well it is about time I had some good news to put up about grandfather. We had a meeting with the staff that is taking direct care of grandfather. As most of you know he had heart surgery almost 3 months ago and its been a hard battle to say the least. Just a few days ago he got moved from being in ICU for the past 2 1/2 months to the next lower level. He is not in any immediate danger right now. Which as most of you know is a vast improvement. The meeting went rather well. We asked that everyone got on the same page on his care. From physical therapy to voice therapy to everyday things he needs done to help him. The meeting has already gotten results. They put up a set of goals everyday that are to be met by his nurses and for those from each therapy. This way no one can say again "Well I am new so I don't know what he does". One thing that bugged my sis and I was uh damm there is over 2 months worth of notes on him. JULY 30TH, 2008 BLOG ENTRY As I sit here waiting for a video to upload, or be created, I find all of this useless time on my hands. Sure, I follow my FSWO plan and routinely use bungee cords to exercise with during such moments. I play the drums. I play basketball, when my back pain permits it. I use my fitness machine, I beat the holy hell out Otis, my heavy bag. And this year, I have been wearing my hair short and want to be consistent about getting out in the sun. I havent spent much time on the screenplay. I believe that I have enough that I could meet a 2 week deadline for completion. I have been training my voice and taken an interest in learning other instruments, like the keyboard or guiatar. I also find it easy to come up with an original score in my head and the lyrics just seem to flow. I need a way other than drums to express my songs. The title of this blog is "Time". I wonder how many people realize how precious time really is. Hard Times
Right now I'm having a really hard time finding a job out here. I'm a graduate Accountant but its very hard to find a company that will hire me because I'm entry level. Which mean I don't have even a years worth of experience. I'm negative in both of my bank accounts and I have no way to bring it back up without a paycheck. I'm needing help very badly. I can't afford diapers, diaper wipes, or anything for my kids or even me. We are just skimming by right now and its about to get even worse. I moved out here to Texas being told that the job market is easier and I will be able to provide a better life for my kids but right now I'm not able to do any of that and its really getting to me. I've been depressed and stressed out getting turned down for even a housekeeping position because I never did it professionally. I won't do telemarketing or sale because I suck at it and its all commission. I need a guaranteed paycheck at least 12 bucks an hour to be able to take care of my kids

So here's the thing. I talk to people on here, and some of them are cool, weird, flat out funny, or creepy. I've basically weeded through all the retards more or less and if I don't talk to everyone..oops...I'm pretty sure you'll get along just fine if I don't. ANYWAY.. Seizures
They suck. Enough said? If not, let me say that I think I suffered one this afternoon. Scary as it is, it was minor, but it seems my black outs are slowly escalating. There has been a drastic decrease in the time between them, as in what was once maybe one a month has become an almost daily event. Today was the scary part though, because I had a seizure, I think. I blacked out while sitting in my computer chair, and when I came to I couldn't see or hear anything, only felt my body jerking around. Then my vision started to come back and my hearing returned last of all, only I didn't know it had gone away until I realized my ears had been ringing. It was a very disturbing experience. It was most definitely frightening. I called my doctor immediately, despite my natural tendency to ignore these things. Okay, well, last you heard from me things were getting interesting. I will keep this short but fill in or answer any questions... I just got home, today from the hospital. My pacer crapped out almost a week ago and my 2nd device saved my life by taking over. Just not as well. So I had major surgery that they don't even call an operation on Monday. They have me down to one device/combo now and my wiring is very differant and safer. I just wish the trip to the or had gone better and my heart had stayed at full capacity the whole time. The word leukemia has become a word my family knows all to well. Several years after my aunt got married did we all learn that her new husband was diagnosed with leukemia. By this time we had all came to know and love him very much especially me. For years after that we have been lucky when he would go to the doctors. We had a couple years of him being in remission. Our lucky ran out about two years ago. They found some spots on his lungs and it was cancer. Just so you can an idea of how much of a favorite I am to him. My buddy hit me up a short while ago. He and his family lost their house in all this mortgage crap. Amazing turn of events. He qualifies for a loan that he shouldn't have been given. Nobody questions how much he said he makes per month. He knows he can't make the new payments when the loan shifts. The lender doesn't check anything, just pushes his loan through. The real estate folks don't care since they are selling another house. Everyone down the line is fat, dumb, and happy and nobody questions how this guy can afford this house. It sucks that my buddy and his family are now in a small appartment, but it is truly amazing the amount of greed demonstrated by everyone in the process. Bush signed the Sallie Mae, Freddie Mac bailout today. Amazing a company can do bad deals out of greed and stupidity and then get rescued by the government.
