New Traffic Camera Locations For New Orleans Metro Area
The parish is going to be installing traffic camera's to catch red-light runners. The cameras snap a picture of you running the red light and you get the picture with a fine slip mailed to you and you can either pay then or take it to court to contest it, at which time the fine/court costs go up. This is going to start in September. Recently, I was diagnosed with C. A. A. D. D. (Child Activated Attention Deficit Disorder) This is how it manifests: I decide to do the laundry. As I start toward the basement, I notice that there are cheerios all over the floor and my car keys are in the cereal bowl. I decide to pick up the cheerios before I do the laundry. I lay my car keys down on the counter, put the cheerios in the trash can under the counter, and notice that the trash can is full. So, I decide to take out the trash. But then I think, since I'm going to be near the mailbox when I take out the trash I may as well pay the bills first. What I Have Been Up To Lately.
I am so sorry that I have not been on in a long time but I have been busy with the baby. She is now 21/2 and she just started school on August 21st. Have you ever done something that you thought was the right thing and it make you feel like crap? About 5 months ago me and my wife seperated which i thought was the right thing to do. We argue daily neither of us were ever happy and we wanted to seperate and eventually get a divorce before we ended up hating eachother. I don't know about most people but i think it would be better for both are kids who are 3 and 2 years old if me and my wife could atleast be atleast friends. Music Buff Needed!
Ok, here's the thing. This has been driving me crazy for about a week now and I figured since I (nor the immediate people around me) can figure it out....I would put it out in FUland. There is a song that was done in the early 90s (I think) that has what sounds like the same melody as the breakdown part (that starts on minute 1:45 of the below video) of Three Days Grace's "Scared." The Idea Of A Public Meeting

What a day its been. Today around 7:45 AM the power at work went out. We had to close the store till the power kicked back on. New
Everything's changing in the next month for me. I'm going back to school in a new school and a new program. I'm keeping one job and starting another. I'll be working with 11 new kids at the one, and new staff and kids in the other. I also just broke up with the boyfriend, so it feels weird to be single again after two and a half years. The new job I have is at a Respit program for kids with special needs. So my days will be 8am-1pm at the preschool, 2-4 at the respit, then classes 5-8pm Mondays and Thursdays. On weekends I'll be on call at the Respit program so I can pick up more there. So between learning my new kid(s) at the preschool and respit i'll have homework again too. Now before I get into my rant I want to ask...why are we paying extra fees at the airport for nothing? I have noticed that our fine US Government is very lax in everything. Other countries check at least 80-85% of all cargo at the ports where we check only 15-20%. Other countries check your car and person before you can come within 1000 feet of an airport while our country lets you drive right up no problem. We are also inconsistent with the TSA. One airport stops someone for something stupid (a granola bar) while the returning flight this person takes lets him go through with a similar granola bar. Updates! Current mood: aggravated Just to let everyone know, everything is going great. The second trimester is way better then the first, I can actually take pre natals and not get sick. YAY! So hopefully that will give me more energy. I am getting huge, and hope to have a picture of the belly up soon. I have a Dr's appointment on the 28th...hopefully they will give me an ultrasound, and be able to tell the sex of the baby *hopefully a girl*. The boys are doing great, getting big, and the are trying to listen to mommy and daddy, but you know how that goes. Calvin will be starting school next year, 2008, and I am so affraid with all these shootings. I might just homeschool him, but then that doesn't give him any social skills. But now a days there are programs that you can put them in to get that social thing in there. He can say his ABC's and count to 10. I am going to start working with him on other things. He is a very smart boy, and will pick up on it quickly.

Man, it was raining so bad here. I am so sick of rain I can cry. I feel like thats all it has done for the last month is just rain. It was a nice storm we had tho. Parmesan Baked Fish
INGREDIENTS: * 1/4 cup milk * 2 teaspoons salt * 2 pounds thawed fresh or frozen fish fillets * 1/2 cup fine dry bread crumbs * 1/2 teaspoon paprika * 1/4 cup grated Parmesan cheese * melted butter PREPARATION: Preheat oven to 375°. Grease a 11 1/2 x 7 1/2 x 2-inch baking dish. Blend together the milk and salt in a shallow bowl. Combine bread crumbs, paprika, and Parmesan cheese in another bowl. Dip fish fillets into milk mixture then into crumb mixture. Arrange in the prepared baking dish. Drizzle melted butter over fillets. Bake for 25 to 30 minutes, depending on thickness of fillets. I finally got tickets to see two bands that I like and the third band I don't mind to much. I am excited and counting down the days until this concert!! Not Enough Hours In The Day
Have you ever realized there is not enough time in the day. I used to sit behind a desk and count the hours until five. I would swear that from 3 to 4 took like 7 hours in itself. This is part of a mum that I need help on.... I've been engaged to a man for a year now who has a 13 yr old daughter that has slight autism.. Well problem is that she is a major drama queen and thinks she should get anything and everything she wants. Cool air fills the morning as summers grasps at a futile attempt to stay the inevitable. A lite mist brings back memories of past and present, memories about expectation. I am not honest about what I expect of people. I know that most would read this and speculate about how negative I must be. Humans are capable of the most hanus acts. It seems depending on how much they think they will get away with it the more hanus the act becomes. The fact is when no one is watching most will do what is in their best interest. There are few who shine when no one is watching. How bright that light must be that none of us can see it. How sad is it when it is seen we look away. So though I expect quite a lot out of humans, I must say I am most happy when my expectations are not met.

Just A Day And Notes On Pregnant Teens
It is worth noting first that this is my first blog post. Hmmmmmmmmmmm, I have been blogging a very long time, just not here. I had to get groceries again this morning. It seems I spend an inordinate amount of time gathering food. I start off the week with a menu, and food but always end up re- visiting the store. Its enough to drive one nuts. So anyway, I am at the store and happen to notice at least three pregnant teenagers. I guess they got busy this summer, or last winter. It is bizarre, this need to be 16 and pregnant. I often wish I could have these kids hang with me for a few days. Three kids at home, and just my food bill alone on a weekly basis is 300.00 easy. Not to mention that I cook all homemade meals and we rarely have takeout. So if these kiddos could spend a few days with me, I just wonder if they would rethink sex unprotected. Grill or broil these tasty pork kabobs. Ingredients include marinated pork cubes, mushrooms, onions, hot cooked rice, and bell peppers. INGREDIENTS: * 1 can (14 ounces) beef broth * 2 tablespoons cornstarch * 2 tablespoons soy sauce * 1 tablespoon light brown sugar, packed * 2 cloves garlic, finely minced * 1/2 teaspoon ground ginger * 1 1/2 pounds pork loin, lean, cut into 1-inch cubes * 1 large red onion, cut into wedges * 1 large bell pepper, cut into squares * tomato wedges * hot cooked rice PREPARATION: In a saucepan, combine broth, cornstarch, soy sauce, brown sugar, garlic, and ginger. Bring to a boil, stirring constantly. Reduce heat and continue to cook, stirring, until thickened. Arrange pork cubes on skewers, alternating with mushrooms, peppers, and onion wedges.Grill or broil for 20 to 30 minutes, or until done, turning and brushing with the sauce mixture frequently. Barbecued Country-style Ribs
Recipe for grilled and basted country style ribs. INGREDIENTS: * 3 to 4 pounds country-style pork ribs (not boneless) * 1 can (8 ounces) tomato sauce * 1 large onion, chopped * 1/2 cup dark corn syrup * 2 tablespoons Worcestershire sauce * 1/4 cup cider vinegar * 1 teaspoon salt * 1 teaspoon dry mustard * 1 teaspoon chili powder PREPARATION: Place ribs in a large Dutch oven or stock pot; and add water to the depth of about 1 inch; cover and bring to a boil. Reduce heat and simmer for 1 hour. In 1-quart saucepan, mix together remaining ingredients. Simmer for 10 minutes. Drain ribs; brush with sauce. Grill, basting and turning frequently, for about 20 minutes, or until browned.

Back Issues
A few weeks ago I started being awakened at night with terrible shooting pain in my legs. I went to my GP and he scheduled an MRI. Last week I got the MRI on my lower back. I've had MRIs before and they never find anything but this time they did. I just talked to my doctor and he has scheduled me to see a back doctor next week. I am so glad they have finally found something. I doubt they will be able to do anything for it but just having it confirmed feels good. And if they can do something for it then all the better. So next Friday I will find out what can be done and hopefully be taken out of a lot of pain.

Things I Just Want To Say
I beleive to everything wrong in a realtionship, there is something that can make it right. or how about instead of worrying about the crap that bothers us, we focus on the stuff the person does right. Instead of focusing on the stuff your loved ones do bad, we need to see what they do right as well, otherwise it can be a negative relationship. People have there down sides, but also focus on what they do right. So heres what my man does, he is there for me when i need him most, He makes me smile when i need a smile. Most of all he is my shoulder when i need one. he cares and he is also one of my bestfriends.
