Whopper Of A Giant Squid Washed Up On The Australian Beach
One of the largest giant squid ever found washed up on a beach in southern Australia this month. The squid was discovered on a beach late at night on the western shores of Tasmania. The great beast weighed 250 kilograms (550 pounds) and was 8 meters (26 feet) long from head to tentacle-the same length as a school bus. "It's a whopper," declared Genefor Walker-Smith, zoologist at the Tasmanian Museum. It is believed to be of the largest giant squid ever found. Scientists took samples from it fur further study, hoping it will offer crucial insights into the creature's habits and habitat. Giant squid can grow to a length of 10 meters (33 feet) or more and weigh more than 275 kilograms (600 pounds). The marine animal is exceeded only in size by the Colossal squid which can exceed 14 meters (45 feet) in length. Prep Time:15 min Start to Finish:1 hr 5 min Makes:6 servings 1 1/2 teaspoons dried minced onion 1 lb lean (at least 80%) ground beef 3/4 cup cheese dip (from 15-oz jar) 2 cups Original Bisquick® mix 1 cup milk 1 egg 2 cups frozen bell pepper and onion stir-fry (from 1-lb bag), thawed, drained 1. Heat oven to 375°F. Spray 8-inch square pan or 2-quart glass baking dish with cooking spray. In small bowl, cover onion with hot water. 2. In 10-inch skillet, cook beef over medium-high heat 5 to 7 minutes, stirring occasionally, until brown; drain. Stir in cheese dip. Cook 2 to 3 minutes or until hot. 3. In medium bowl, mix Bisquick mix, milk and egg until blended. Pour half of the batter into pan. Top with beef mixture and bell pepper mixture. Pour remaining batter evenly over top. Drain onion; sprinkle over batter. 4. Bake 40 to 45 minutes or until golden brown and center is set. Let stand 5 minutes before cutting into squares. If desired, heat leftover cheese dip as directed

Well I had the second part done on my lower back. Things didn't go so well. Surgeon hit a spot on my spine and caused me to have a spinal headache within 3 seconds!!! It's worse than a migraine!!! So far nothing is helping with the pain but I'm trying to stay hopeful....please continue to keep me in your thoughts and prayers!! Am I Not A Good Person?
So, Am I not a good person? I deeply believe I am, but I guess few others do. It's another Saturday night I am spending alone. I know I am somewhat to blame. I am a bit shy. Im not a religious person by no means but please pray for my dad hes in critical condition at the hospital here in Joetown im here in the waiting room waiting to hear something back about him and Im really hoping that u will keep him in ur thoughts and prayers. Well....its been a while since I have updated, so here goes nothing. Nikki, after 5 1/2 months still does not have her kids, and only has SUPERVISED visitation once a week @ the DHHR office. THANK GOD!!! She is being drug tested 2x a week, and the last one came back dirty!! It's been a short ride but also a fast and furious one. However, now it is over. My breaking point was the Sarah Palin rally today which I was dragged to while in the midst of fatigue hysteria. A black congresswoman (this would be Sheila Jackson Lee, of Houston ), reportedly complained that the names of hurricanes are all Caucasian sounding names. Had A Little Scare Tonight
Tonight was work detail at the fire department. After all the work was done, we had a training class on the thermal imaging camera we are trying to get with a grant. It's used to find bodies in burning buildings, car accidents, etc. Also it can register transfered heat...meaning if a person was sitting in a car when it wrecked and got thrown out of the car or walked away, you will be able to see the heat left on the seat of the car with the camera. Anyway.....I was standing in the back of the room handing out refreshments as the class went on. Suddenly I felt a hard thump in my chest, right in the sternum area. A teacher in New York decided to honor each of her seniors in High School by telling them the difference each of them had made. She called each student to the front of the class, one at a time. First, she told each of them how they had made a difference to her, and the class. My co-worker & smoking buddy Nova (no longer works here, was laid off last year) was in the Army for 16 years. Her last duty assignment was Ft Bragg NC (when she got out, her & husband who was still active duty bought a house nearby, so that's how she ended up in my neck of the woods). HOW TO "RIP OTHERS PHOTOS" AND LATER ESTABLISH GALLERIES TO PUT THEM IN. 1. When viewing someone's photo, if it says "rip to gallery" then you can rip it, which means copy it into you "default" gallery. There is an indication there of where it came from originally. If you can't irip, you may want to save as favorite -- only one per such person's account allowed, for your later viewing pleasure -- not seen by anyone else. 2. Sporting A Phoner
I ordered a new phone Wednesday, a Blackberry Curve. With the discount they were giving me, it seemed silly to not get it. I put in my order about 2:00 on Wednesday Afternoon, and they had the phone shipped by 1:00 Am so it got delivered yesterday. Knowing it was waiting for me, I stopped on the way home and got a holster for it. I charged it up, then I had to call support to transfer my number, but once that was done I was able to get it going with no major issues. I did have a problem getting Yahoo to work on it, kept saying my password was wrong, so I would log in on my PC with that password, worked fine, then try on the Blackberry, "invalid password." Misanthropic Tendencies
I am in danger of developing misanthropic tendencies even after 8 and a half years experience homelessness I thought I had seen it all in terms of the horrors of what humans to do other humans, but what I witnessed the other day on a news site just left me horrified. I really couldnt believe what I was seeing and as I knew relatively little of what goes on in Africa found more stuff that I found more horrifying. I was sitting here thinking about what I want. It's not something unusual of me to do. Just seems like I'm doing it a lot more lately. I'm not sure why, and honestly...the feeling sucks. Well I have yet another stalker...at least I think that's what you'd call them. They come to my page and do nothing. They have no picture and have their profile set to friends only. The only thing I can think is..what new person knows about this feature? I'm sure a few do, but not many. That leaves me to think it's someone that knows me, but doesn't want me to know who they are. Firstly THANKYOU ur kind words and gifts and prayers have touched me more than u know. so yesterday i went back to the oncology center to get some results n see where we go from here .. well i think i need my very own ........ Well my Saturdays start ai midnight like everone elses but I start my cooking for Muddy Pond BBQ at that time..no partying on Friday anynoe...What a bummer..Anyway I have to prepair he meat get the smoker fired up and load it when it gets to temp (220 degrees) the split more hickory...have u ever tried that early in the mornind and in the dark'''it's a work out. Then I have to get the mobil kitchen restocked and set up on a site that a good friend here in Muddy Pond has allowed me free access to. Then it's about every half hour to load more hickory into the smoker to maintain the proper temp to make my Butts yje old fashioned way of slow and low cooking so they will melt in ur mouth tender.. Funny our motto is "Que so tender you don't need teeth" which was thought up by a great customer. Now I pull the kitchen 1 1/2 miles and level it on site at around 7:oo and retuen to keep the smoker tended which will some times allow me to be on line or just ply eith my rwo cats Goldie and Tink.

I have had alot of free time on my hands here lately, and have had alot of time to think. Q2, Ole Friends And Camera Woes

My New Years Eve...
So I just got home driving from my friends house. (I didn't kill myself or any small furry animals!) For those that are interested let me tell you about my night... Drove to Friends house...did make-up got ready and got picked up. Went to shops to buy alcohol...drunk it in the car (Classy...inorite?). REALLY needed to PEE whilst going down the motorway (destination was about 2hrs). I Don't Get It.
Okay, really I do get the whole idea of the "pants on the ground" song that some old man sang on American Idol last night. I really do. However, I do NOT see the humor in it that everyone else seems to see. The song is about all these people that wear their pants so low that they are prett much on the ground. That concept has always bothered me. I want to just run up behind them and pull their pants down. The way I look at it, that's what they want, if they didn't, they'd wear a belt or get pants that fit. Nothing is less attractive than seeing a person that looks like they don't know how to get the right size in clothes.
