Peggy Update-tuesday
Just got off the phone with Peggy again and she said to tell everyone she is going nuts without her internet..LMAO.. All storm damage has been cleared as of yesterday... all power has been restored, but the Internet Provider just started reconnecting internet service yesterday... no estimated time of restoral. She says that the bad thing is that the WHOLE TOWN is out of service... she can't go to the library or a friends house to log on... Death Of Best Friends Daughter
it was friday night, a friend called me to tell me one of our best friends 5 yr old daughter was in the hospital. she was in a coma and needed a liver transplant. it hurt very badly to hear that. you see, i knew her since she was born. she was a beautiful little girl, big brown eyes long curly brown hair. then saturday came, 2:30 in the afternoon, i got the call, she had just passed away. the tears began, the hurt and pain inside worsened. why, why take a little girl who hasn't even lived life to the fullest. people said she's in a better place now, that may be true but it still doesn't replace the pain. What's Best
Moving was reall hard for me to adjust to, no friends or family here made it extremly hard. But i have learned that what i want is no longer important, my son's happiness is more important. He needs to have both of his parents, so in that aspect i am trying to adjust as much as i can, though i miss my family I can only do what's best for my son.

The other day I noticed something odd that has been with me for as long as I can remember: streetlights will go out as I walk past. It happened three times within a single one-mile walk, and again the day after. I can't recall ever seeing it happen when other people walk past streetlights, nor happening from a distance. It doesn't happen to every one I walk past, but the only times I've noticed them go out was when I get within about twenty feet from the base. My Mother
Linkin Park - Numb I love my mother dearly, and we are very close but if I could scream this song at her I would. She wants me to be what she wants me to be. She wants me to be unlike she was, which I understand. I can never please her. My whole adult life I've tried every way I know to please her and now I've got to try to please myself and keep the relationship with her. I Love my mom. I looked out of the windshield and seen more than the rain pouring down. Watching it hit and form with the rest, forming a mass. Like my life has been it seems. Many small things hitting my surface, some grand and others minuscule. Some having a great impact others just a ripple, but when combined its become united and has more power than expected. Time was that this was never an issue to me. If it was more powerful than I, I ignored it or let it go away leaving it's trail of resentments that I would use to make me stronger. This served me well, learning as each obstacle tested me or not letting some things even have a chance to prove their power. I missed a lot by doing this for many years/decades. New Horse
Just got a new (old) horse...I feel so bad for him. He's been without food and water for five days, is bone thin and sick. Why in gods name do people, who think taking care of horse, is so easy, that when they decide it's not covenant, are willing to let the poor thing die from starvation. Home From Hospital
I just wanted to update everyone what was going on with me. Tuesday morning I woke up not feeling good...Walked in the bathroom and I had another siezure. 2nd one in 2 weeks so we thought. Tony rushed me to ER. My Dr admited me I had a CAT Scan, MRI and EEG. The CAT scan and MRI was ok.So the ruled out anything major like brain bleeding or tumos. The EEG showed lots of seizure activity. Come to find out was not just 3 seizures I had. I been having them often somtimes a few times a day. I get disoriented often and just feel crappy and that all has been seizures. Its a load of my chest to know whats going on. I still don't know the cause of them I may never know. Its called Temporal lobe seizure. I am on medicine to try to see if that helps and I can't drive for awhile. I am feeling better somewhat, much better mentally to finally know about these couple years what is going on with me. Thanks for all the well wishes means the world to me. Dream - A Great Day For My Students
Last night was a good night to dream I was attending a grand gala, so grand I was in a tux with a top hot. I knew I had it going on :) The gala took place over several rooms of this fictitious high-end shopping mall my mind often uses. The event was to celebrate my students. They had pulled off something marvelous and everyone was there to celebrate. It began with a dinner - they even had something vegetarian for me. Another male who looked a bit like Will Farrell was my co-teacher and he had prepared a powerpoint show to "roast" our students in a goof natured way and he asked me to play along - no problem I can do funny improv. Right after the salad, my students presented us with a photo album. Each had a 5x7 headshot and the album was dedicated to one of our students who died during our class. We all got weepy, me too. After dinner, we went to another part of the mall for the awards. It was a bit tricky to get to and we had to do a bit of rehearsal to get it right.

Online and off, It's hard to believe that just a year ago my husband left me and wiped out my baank account. I've come a long way and still have so far left to go. I start a new job Monday doing something similar to what I'm doing now, I'm taking care of business like I should have been doing a long time ago. I'm halfway to my goal of my GED I passed my pretest with flying colors. I am very proud of my self and am going to keep pushing myself to go further. Why do people think they can weather the storm and ride it out. They are saying to expect lives lost. The 20 foot sea wall they built after the 1900 Galveston Hurricane has settled since it was erected. If they are lucky the say it's 15 foot. With the high tides,water surge and wave heights there is going to be some major flooding with Galveston. I only hope and pray that everyone has or will vacate to safer grounds. As we all know, school pretty much sucks. Either the subject is boring or the professor is a moron. At the moment I happen to be in the latter though can't seem to do wrong. I love the class subject. Finding True Love

So, among the photos I have posted of myself, men keep making comments about what their tongues could do to various parts of my body. Each and every time, my first thought is "ewwwwww." So Sad
I am so sad today. We lost my mother yesterday very suddenly. She died in her sleep at home and was found by our dad. We are all deeply saddened by her death and are having a very hard time coping with it all. She was only 61 years old. you never realize how much you love someone until they are gone, then you sit and wonder what if...... and I wish I would have............... Like last week I wanted to just sit and have a chat with her about nothing at all, just sit and talk like we always did, but I was getting home late from work and she was sleeping so I didn't want to "bother" her. Now I really wish I would have woke her up to talk, even for a little while. Now that she's gone, I really wish she was here to talk to and to help us thru this difficult time but we are all adults now and should be able to deal with death but in a way I'm still like a little girl and want my mommy.

Holiday Meringue Dessert
Ingredients: * 1 egg white * 1/8 teaspoon cream of tartar * 1/8 teaspoon almond extract * Dash salt * 1/3 cup sugar * 2 scoops chocolate ice cream * Chocolate sauce * 2 tablespoons flaked coconut, toasted * Maraschino cherries Directions: Place egg white in a small mixing bowl and let stand at room temperature for 30 minutes. Add the cream of tartar, extract and salt. Beat on medium speed until soft peaks form. Gradually beat in sugar, 1 tablespoon at a time, on high until stiff glossy peaks form and sugar is dissolved. Cover a baking sheet with parchment paper. Spoon the egg mixture into two mounds on paper. Using the back of a spoon, build up the edges slightly. Bake at 250° for 35 minutes. Turn off oven and do not open door; let shells dry in the oven for at least 1 hour. To serve, fill shells with ice cream; top with chocolate sauce, coconut and cherries. Yield: 2 servings.

Up Date On Hubbie Condition
Okay just this past monday he had another heart attack while I was at class, when i came home he was comen out the door, thought he was going to check mail but instead came to car clasping his chest,,, speed to hospital where they chopper lift him to the Heart hosptal again, Massive heartattack,, double bypass emergency surgrey done, They said this happen cause not taken meds that which VA refused to fill and we have no money for.. I'll also be experimenting with "lentils" and rice and if the "lb of red kidney beans" can be transferred to about any legume my guess is yes except peanut. The question is why, when red beans are awesome and adhere to pork products so well. My answer is- not everyone likes red beans, and they're not as nutritious as other members of their family. well, I'm not normally a blogger, but I need to vent on something, and this is safer than the people around me. my status atm is day's got me down, feels like a kick in the teeth, kick in the gut is more truthfull. my med board came back today, fit for continued service, when my medical hasn't been taken care of, and I'll be kicked out due to admin sep. can't say it surprises me much, but I had hoped it wouldn't happen. I was granted a formal hearing, but if things don't change after that, I'm stuck. this is literally my last ditch to get this taken care of and get myself home with my medical benefits and my various other benefits intact, otherwise I lose not only what the Navy owes me, but also my ability to help support my family. just doesn't seem right to me, I came in able to carry over 300 lbs, and I'll be going home barely able to carry my seabag off the bus.

I am very frustrated and on edge today. Today marks a week since I was told that I had two weeks to leave. My Life In Combat...last Tour.."lessons Learned"
Veterans Day was yesterday and we are well past the one year mark in our deployment so I wanted to take a few moments to reflect on our year here and some lessons learned. First off I just wanted to extended my gratitude to the friends,family and even strangers who have supported me and my fellow soldiers along the way. well finally im as happy as i think i can get. ive gotten married and i have 3 wonderful step children. i love it. ive been waiting 5 years for this to happen (2 years were my fault) but i have a wonderful family now. im trying to wait until the youngest is walking and out of diapers before i have one but i dont think thats goin to happen. i have to go to the doctor in a week and i just might be prego. i dont mind i just wish it could have waited. im on birth control but the doc put me antibiotics cause i ended up having gallbladder surgery and it was infected. so now i think it messed with my birth control. im happy but im scared. we have an 11 yo, 9yo, and a 10 month old. they r 3 of the best children but the youngest is a handful. so i hope its a false alarm. dont get me wrong ive been wanting a child for a long time but right now it needs to wait. but if its meant to be there then so be it. i guess ill just have to put my big girl panties on and deal with it.

OMG Steam Con is this weekend!!! With that out of the way, what's Steam Con, you ask? It is Seattle's first authentic steampunk convention, down by Sea-Tac Airport. Aside from general geekery, I'm looking forward to meeting other enthusiasts. Maybe it's just the types of folks that are attracted to the sub-genre, but I find it easier to socialize (initially) with Steampunks. I've been to Sakura Con twice, and the folks I encounter just don't seem as gregarious as the begoggled ladies & gents I hang out with at the Wayward Coffee House. The notable exception being the "Free Hugs" kids, but they creep me out a bit. Anyway, I'll definitely have some tabletop games in my car (Steampunks tend to like old-fashion stuff like that :> ), and hope to get some pictures posted of the event, afterwards. Well life sometime take unexpected turns you can either go with the flow or run away from it. well, where 2 start... I was an ass when I was a lil' 1. As I grew up I realized that I was just a Jackass. I got arested and convicted of a robbery w/ fire arm in 1994. on January 5, 1995 I started my sentance of 10 yrs incarcerated and 10 yrs on paper, w/ 5 yrs to run concurrent w/ the first 10. It's a long story and not important as 2 why, but rest asured that it is, just don't judge. Since this is about being released from probation I felt that it would be nice to know what 4... N-E-ways, I was locked-up until April 2, 2002 and then released time-served. Actually 2.5 yrs more than my actual discharge date, but again neither here nor there.
