here is my favorite excerpt from this novel...I read it once and working on reading it again...it has impacted the way i think about society and relationships and i feel its a book everyone, every sex, every race and every religion believer should read....true enlightenment lies within its pages!! ......Unfortunately, all of the stories being told to Blacks in America, Europe, Africa, and the Carribean have made Blacks worldwide feel low, weak, crazy, backward, and powerless. So low that the storyteller has set the conditions for Blacks to be robbed of all their stuff and too stupid to recognize it. So put your brews and blunts on pause. Rock with me for a few. ............. A story not to be missed.....make sure u check out her other novel...The Coldest Winter Ever....which is also a revolutionary page turner who highlights life for many young women in America.....Midnight...the lead character in Midnight: a gangster love story, is also a character in The Coldest Winter Ever....i would suggest reading The Coldest Winter Ever 1st.
