Long Live The Christmas Trees!
Driving along Loop 360 on my way to work yesterday, I noticed a pine tree that had garland around it and a Santa cap where a star would be. Then just a little ways up I saw a man with two children heading back to their truck. I looked at them a little weird and thought - why in the world would they go decorate a Christmas tree, especially AFTER Christmas??? I quickly dismissed it with thoughts of the traffic up ahead. Later, today, I went to my daughter's apartment to receive my Christmas gift from them since I had to work on Christmas day. After spending some time with them, I came down MoPac to 360. I made a quick stop at Taco Cabana for a taco on my way home and then returned on 360 going southbound of 183. When I did, I saw a whole bunch of decorated Christmas trees. Ooooooh, I get it now!!! In My Humble Opinion.. I do not know why or how people end up in this situation but they do. They get complacent and then they wonder what happened to the person they are dating or are engaged to or, yes even sometimes married to. I went from 73 degrees and beautiful in Atlanta over the weekend to 10 degrees and butt cold in Detroit in one day. I swear I've been all over the past couple weeks, and this weather has been crazy all over. I was in Pennsylvania and it was 55 degrees, then went to Tennessee and it was 20 degrees. And I have met some crazy ass people. LOL But there are still a lot of cool people out here I keep runnin' into. Kinda cool to get paid to travel all over. It is gettin' kinda stressful on the road. I barely missed the ice storm that hit the plains states, but I'm catching some cold ass weather now. Ugggg Work
Don't get me wrong I love my job, in fact until the last couple of weeks I woke up with a smile and couldn't wait to get there to begin my day. Sure like everyone else I loved weekends, my days off, but I liked going to work! So what changed? My boss who I really, really liked and got along well with resigned. She moved onto greener pastures, a good move for her. It left me with some people who live for drama, and with out her around to tame it, it grows daily to new heights. Time To Go I Think

Today After Grandpa's Funeral
I think of many things that I've done in my life, and realize ... I'm ok with dieing ~ I've raised my child and been a good Mother ~ I've been a great commanion and friend to many , and done everything in my ability to strive for success . I've put my own life aside to take care of the people that needed me the most. I took care of my dieing brother, I cared my ailing father, and now I'm tending to my disabled mother. I've never really had much of MY OWN life to live.. but I've lived my life through others !! I've been all over the US, and been to or at least through at least 30 of the states. I've even ventured into Canada several times. I've ran my own successful business. I've bowled, I've owned part of a racing team , I've swam in the ocean.. what more can a person ask for ?? Boredom To The 9th Crazy Level
Wow this is a boring time for me. I am dog/house sitting, which is great in theory and on the wallet considering the ups. I'm 1/2 the distance closer to work, I don't need to pay any bills here, food is provided PLUS I get paid $120 for 8 days. The problem? It is boring here. They have cable, blah. I realise that though I will watch some TV that T and TV alone is so not enough for my entertainment. They have an Xbox, blah. I just got back from a hella awesome trip to San Antonio. I went to go se my bestest buddies, who I haven't seen in quite a while. We had such a blast. We went everywhere in San An, it was a much needed getaway. What made it even more awesome is that my daughter had the time of her life too. She got to go the zoo, ripleys believe it or not, louis tussauds wax museum, the alamo, and Seaworld. It was amazing. It was great to be able to get out of the house for awhile and just have a good time. The only down side is that my boyfriend didn't get to come along with us. Ho Hum!
Well I havent posted many blogs on here at all so i figured i might as well do so now. Lately it seems like everything i do is wrong, no matter what it is. Just An Update
Okay a little update. I had two jobs...the Tax place and at a day care. But I quit the day care because they were hitting the kids and I didnt want to be part of that. Well I called state to report them but I got an answering machine. I left a message and they never called me back I even told them what it was reguarding. I guess the state of NC doesn't care. I Lost Someone Special Today
Today one of the most beautiful women I know died. She always called me her Lula Bell. She made my first birthday cake and dressed me up every Halloween. She truly treated me like her daughter growing up. She made me smile always and made a point to always call me beautiful. She was the person who shaved the rest of my hair off for surgery and the one who taught me to make mints. Her son and I were like two peas in a pod. She was the lady who put me in vinegar when I had a bad sunburn. She was a mother to me growing up. She always introduced me as her daughter. The last time I saw her was 2 years ago since she moved away. Today I get a call telling me she is gone. She died of a heart attack at the age of 58 years old. I will miss her greatly. Clan Of The Cats
Was reminded today of a comic I used to follow pretty regularly back around seven years ago or so, Clan of the Cats. It had stopped in the interim at least once (I'd checked in that time) but has restarted/continued/... something (in typically odd, imaginative fashion.) As to the concept, storyline, ... - about a curse, a human/panther/witch (as I recall the author- who participated in discussions in the Keenspot.com forums regularly back then- not Wiccan but this aspect both integral and treated extremely positively - how knowledgeably I would not know)... I may have already said too much right there, but I do recommend this. Will write more about others I like, such as Ozy and Millie, soon in this blog. (Not everything in Ozy and Millie is sketch - see Jan 1 2007 and work forward for instance...)
