Life Goes On
So this won't be a bitch fest. Although its been awhile since I've had one. But, here lately I really don't have much to bitch about. I'm back in Oklahoma. I don't know how long this will last but, we will see. I haven't been around much lately. I do check in from time to time to see how my friends are doing. Just because I feel like complaining... Not too long ago I bought a 24 foot aluminum extension ladder that I totally needed for the mainenance I have been doing on my house. The other night I cried so hard it actually physically hurt. Why? Because now that he is leaving and I only see my son half time, I will be alone. Another Update
Had my stitches taken out a week ago, been working my arm, trying to get it back to working full force, kids are doing good, me, had a pretty bad day today, miss my mom so much, still dont seem real, such a horrible tragedy, I'd give anything to hug her right now, its so wild, how in life, u dont notice the lil things, until you lose someone, I miss so many things about my mom, just to think the two people who brought me into this world are both gone, I lost my dad back in 2003 at the age of 65 and my mom at 65, she will be gone 2 months the 15th. If any of you, still have parents that are living, cherish every moment, because you never know when they can be taken from you. Please keep my kids, my family and myself in ur prayers, I hope all of you are doing well, miss and love you all! Love Jen xox

A Month Today
Today makes A Month that I lost my Dad. Everyone says its gets easier. When will it get easy? To me its harder. I miss him so. It still hurts so bad. I know he is in a better place. Sad News
I will not be on much I found out Friday my 11 yr old son has T cell Leukemia. Update: Sorry I was in such a hurry when I wrote this I left out many details. A week ago today my son Mason's lung collapsed, then last week Wednesday one of his kidneys failed and he had stopped breathing for 2 mins. He was air lifted to the Mayo Hospital in Rochester, Mn. On Friday he was diagnosed with T-Cell Leukemia which is treatable thank god. Mason has had one blood transfusion already, several kidney dialysis and many kemo treatments already. So far he is doing good despite what he has been through. He will still have to remain here at Hospital for a month. After that he should be able to go home but will need kemo for at least 3 yrs after that.

Well this is the first writting Ive done in this place, but i have found that i need to let the friends on the pages that i sometimes come to know whats going on in my life, even if its sounds dumb or crazy/ as of the 15th of june i started seeing my doctor for back pain, went to my chiropractor for two weeks did not help as it had before,so he wanted a MRI and the doctor askked the ins CO for one, it was found that i have degerentive disk dez and a blown out disk at L3/4 I have been a good boy and tried to work thru the pain and drugs but it got too bad to even drive to work and so i went on temp disability till the doctors have ruled out and used all none surg.treatments, so i'm stuck at home 24/7 borred to death, does any one want to come by and just share a cup of coffee?

My Friend's Death
A very dear friend of mine was shot and killed by police sunday night. his girlfriend call police for help because Steve was talking suicide. His mother recently passed away and he was very depressed. A cry for help resulted in death. He had a shotgun in his back yard, wouldnt drop it the first time asked, fired it in the air and they ( the police ) opened fire. Why wasnt someone there to talk to him, to help him get help? Does society not care anymore when you cry out for help. Please keep his family in your prayers, as he was a very sweet and upstanding citizen, business owner and had many friends.

More About Me.
If you've looked at my pics and see I don't smile alot, there's a good reason why. For the past few years I've litterally been thru hell and back. In '06, I lost everything I'd worked so hard for so many years for, and had to end up moving in with mom and dad. A few months after that, mom died. Then a year later, my sister gets murdered. This year I lost my dad and no will was left, so I'm going thru a legal mess here. I don't let it consume me, but most of the time I just seem to go thru the motions to just get thru the day. Hopefully better days lie ahead, but I know it's gonna take a long time, so please try to understand that I'm not cold, it's that I'm pretty much emotionally numb. I also lost a brother to suicide in 2001, but I'm dealing better with it now. So understandably there's quite a few days where I'm more withdrawn than others. PEPPER STEAK 2 lbs lean round steak, 1 inch thick 2 green peppers 1 cup beef bouillon 1/2 cup soy sauce 1/2 teaspoon ground ginger 1/2 teaspoon garlic powder Cut steak into serving portions.Cut green peppers into 1/2 inch strips. I have two young children and the cartoons today are just plain dumb. Why can't they bring back the old ones like bugs bunny, mighty mouse, and woody woodpecker. Dear friends and family, As many of you know my family is enduring yet another tragedy this year. So far Angel remains on life support, and is making little progress. We are having a difficult time discontinuing life support measures that were put place due to his age. I know that miracles happen every day as an ICU nurse I see it all the time. However, I cannot find it in my heart to believe that there will be a miracle in Angel's situation. Having sustained 3 shots to the head it is not likely he will survive, and if he does he will not be the same Angel we once knew; but will always be our Angel. i think i learned to be stronger since this hole thing happened to me now my sister is off her feet she had surgery to fix her back and it hurt to hear her on the phone this am but was reasured by her husband she is gonna be o.k. my brother is moving back this way and well hmmm not sure how this is gonna be he has no job and has no where to live and hoping he does find a job soon cause i don't know if i can support him and my mom and my own family and going nuts trying to get my self out of the ditch Johan and i hope to get our lives back to order and his new job is going great unlike the others have told us we finally started getting paid for his job and slowly getting back to where we were my mother is finally getting back on her feet slowly but doing better so i hope to keep being strong and hope to have a break soon to recharge my poor body before i am the next to be in the hospital just not a good month for me i guess but hope you all have had a better day and month.

I cant believe i thought i would never get to godfather. Wow. Doing way too much thinking tonight. Guess I do that when I am drinking. I feel like such a loser sometimes. I live with my Dad and 4 younger siblings. My job...well...it sucks. Happy Birthday.
My significant other takes her birthday Very, Very seriously. After 5 years, I've yet to surprise her with a gift because she's so sneaky about it. Last week, for her birthday, I finally pulled off the perfect surprise and flew out her best friend from the East Coast out to visit. A wonderful gift by any measure -- a beautiful 29 year-old fitness instructor/nurse who's is my SLF's best friend and look-alike (photo soon). The visitor and my SLF love to party together and the Red Bull Vodka's were the drink of choice. On the way back from the airport, we stopped at the discount retailer to get a six-pack of Red Bull and a bow to put on both the visitor and the Red Bull. I causally say we won't need a bag. The clerk asks if it is a gift. My guest says, "Yes, I'm the other half of the gift." I say, "Yes, for my SLF." It was a good weekend.

Kids Ever notice how a 4 year old's voice is louder than 200 adult voices? Several years ago, I returned home from a trip just when a storm hit, with crashing thunder and severe lightning. As I came into my bedroom about 2 a.m., I found my two children in bed with my wife, Karen, apparently scared by the loud storm. I resigned myself to sleeping in the guest bedroom that night. The next day, I talked to the children, and explained that it was OK to sleep with Mom when the storm was bad, but when I was expected home, please don't sleep with Mom that night. They said okay. A friend and I were having a discussion this morning about how "some lies are worse than others." I don't know that I buy it, entirely. I think that all lies - no matter how small - are potentially equally harmful. Thus, what we should judge lies on is not how "big" the lie is but what effect it has on other people. Workout Diary, Day Three Signed up yesterday on sparkpeople.com. I love that it has cool tools to track my progress. I can plan my meals by entering the foods I am actually eating, as well as enter my workout totals. I think this free tool will be very useful and help keep me motivated. Driving Again
Today i went driving for the first time in 9 years. I havent drove since i been in a chair. It was quite an experience . It was not as easy as i thought it would be driving for the first time. My mom drove my car out to a sub division out buy were i work and my grandmas neighborhood. I realized that it was not as easy as i thought. First you have hand controls which are so awesome. When you drive with hand controls you have to be careful not to drive while holding the brakes and gas together. It takes a lot of getting use too. I was good at making turns and i am going to practice going in reverse next time. I also am working on making turn a rounds when u hit a dead on. Next time without curve checks lol. I'm sure some people are wondering about my weekend. Thinking..how did things go with her dad the second time? Well things were okay. We didn't get much of a visit, but that's fine. I'd had other things planned anyway. Did those happen? Not so much. I just kind of feel like instead of spending all the money that I did spend, I could have went shopping here and got him something and then mailed it to him. If I really wanted to get out of the house, I could have left like I did Friday morning and seen him Friday evening and then just came home Saturday morning. It was really a waste of my money. My dad loved to plant tomatoes and grow vegetables in the garden,however because he was in the military, we had to move every three or four years. But even if we were about to move Dad would plant and tend ther garden anyway. Don't particularly know why, but I felt the need to explain this. Is about how I use my brain and why I may say some of things I say on here, when you all may think I am being detrimental to myself. Basically, I have as few thoughts running around up there as possible. A clear mind, for me, allows me to use it to it's full extent when I actually have a reason to think. For example, you ask me a question, I can answer without other things interfering with the thought process. I am by no means a forward thinker, I think on the spot. Today I was actually busy with work, I know, go figure! Anyway, I did spend a bit of the morning checking in on PNG, finding out a little bit of her history. She grew up here, but just moved back. She's living with family till she gets her own place (I noticed she didnt say "we" so I am thinking no bf) and where she worked before. I talked about how I got the job and the place up here with never being here, but I am used to that being in the Army (work that soldier angle in) and she laughed at my jokes. I told her I'd let her get back to work, and I went about my own business. Then later, I had to go to another office, I told her "Try not to miss me too much" and she said "I'll try" so I told her "Be strong!" and she laughed. What's New With Me...
So my week thus far has been rather shitty. I went for my yearly exam and that did not go so well. I get to have a mammogram, an ultra sound on my pelvis and get vampired for tons of blood tests. Lucky me. And then to just complete my shitty week John and I are having issues. I am in a bit of a slump :/ I lost my job 3 weeks ago and have applied for probably 250 positions. I have had a few really great meetings and have another tomorrow. I find it depressing that it is so difficult to survive, you cannot rent a decent place for under 1800.00 a month which is 600.00 more per month than if I had a minimum wage job. I need to figure out a way to maintain a positive attitude till my income builds. I am going back into finance/insurance and it will take me a few months to get a client base. How many ppl really know u? This is just my opinion, but I think it depends on how well u really know ur self. Most ppl are multi feasted, but only put forth bits and pieces of there self. The Date
So I pick the husband up from work and he says since the kids are taken care of why not go out for dinner. Oh how I long for meals that don't come in a box. I wanted dinner without crayons for my menu and I got it! Happy day! Little dinner little something else... ya know what I mean. I got a little tipsy with the lager AND I ordered spinach and there was NONE! I know that that there is a big spinach scare in California but what does that have to do with my spainach pizza? almost everyone that i know has a kid or going to have a kid soonm, expect for me & like 3 of my friends. my friend from high school just had her child today at 8:36 AM it was a girl, she was 7lbs. i wont get to see her until tomorrow cuz the hosiptal is packed with new moms & all the rooms a filled up.
