Halloween Night
Well, I finally got the finishing touches done on the kids' costumes and they took them to school today and of course came home with a bag full of tooth-decay in pretty colours and great flavours! Polly looked so cute as a Faerie Princes...pretty little wings and all! The boys went as the darkside....Troy was the Grim Reaper and Taylor was the Scream dude. We ended up having to drive around this stupid Village of the Inbred Idiots that we live in but we were able to see one of the home mothers from Polly's class and my AVON customer, so at least that part was nice enough. Surprisingly though, the boys wanted to call it quits before I expected them too...talk about a shock! Time to pick mommy off the ground! Even though we didn't go to too many houses, they still made out like bandits....then of course the tedious task of going through ALL of that candy and checking each and every piece....there's no way in hell I'm going to risk the well being and safety of my children!

Ok, so if you've read any of my previous blogs, you know I hate my current work situation. I love my job, just not who I have to work with and for. Monday's and Tuesday's the guys I work with sleep or watch movies all day. So I HAVE to buy a new car now So yeah, I finally got my car fixed. It was running great, had new front tires, just passed smog, paid the registration, had just put in a new starter, new throttle positioner etc. and now it doesn't work. Why doesn't it work you ask? Well some asshole slammed into me when I was making a left hand turn. I was at the corner of Evergreen and Harbor and was going to make a left hand turn to go towards the Pomadessie bridge. Death Visited Today
My beautiful little sun conure Hecate died. I'm not sure what happened to her. She was talking shit just last night like she usually does. We covered her up for the night and this morning she wasn't hollering at the top of her lungs which is her usual habit. I commented to my roomie that she sure was being quiet and when he went to take her cover off, we discovered her at the botom of her cage. I've been crying all day. I love all my animals and I wonder if I mised something, some sign that she was sick or uncomfortable. The odd thing is when we went outside there was a dead sparrow in the front of our complex. I live a very busy life. I am a student at UMA, and even though it's summer I'm still pluggin' away. I work in the Adult Ed. office at the school,even through the summer....I have a fourteen year old daughter,and her social life to deal with.....FIVE beagles! Have you ever raised beagles? My Mom pam had to go to the emergency room at hospital....we went to walmart & then had call Dr Shah, she had major headaches..& high blood pressure was 173 101 shah had us go it emergency room. it was noise a lot. they finally got place that was quiet...it was couch lounge room was only room free. if friends & family could please say prayer for her...it greatly appecatied. ty. Altough doctors and nurses got his heart beating again, he is not going to live. One of the most difficult things to do as a nurse is to be able to be there for the parents when their child is going to die, to comfort them... And it is important to let them hold their baby, no matter how many iv lines or tubes the baby has.. The thing that keeps me going is beliving that once they are gone, they go to heaven with the angels.. And the good stories of babies surviving and going home outweigh the bad..

Motorcycle Accident 1987
Ok I was on my way home from work. I worked in Huntington Beach and lived in Long Beach at the time. I was headed up Valley View from the beach and I was almost to the 405 (San Diego freeway). The traffic was pretty heavy (as it always is in the afternoons in Southern California), so I split traffic. (If you aren't sure what this is, it's where people ride their motorcycles between the lanes of stopped/slow traffic. It's a common practice in So Cal.) The facts of the accident I had to get from eyewitness accounts and from the police accident report. I still have no recollection of the actual accident. I was splitting traffic and someone abruptly changed lanes into me, forcing me to rear end a station wagon that was going about 45 or 50 miles per hour slower than me, causing me to come to a rather sudden and abrupt stop. Hard To Find
Have you ever try to look for someone special or just the right person to with..? I know have.. Well I can tell ya one thing it aint easy easy to find one no matter what u think or do. Update As Of August 3, 2007...
well guys & girls....lil' Alex is holdin' up pretty good so far. The doctors removed the tube from his left lung, but he still has two in his right lung and the one in his head drainin' all that fluid and they changed respirators...his blood pressure flutuates alot from what I'm told, but they are constantly monitorin' him and givin' him the meds he needs. I still haven't gotten to see my grandson, but maybe soon, my daughter will feel comfortable enough with all that's happened & she'll give in. Right now, she's still havin' a hard time copin' with the early delivery & all the complications that came along with it. So yeah, your prayers are still needed, as lil' Alex isn't outta the woods completely yet, much luvvvvvv......KK...

A Big Thank You
I just want to take a moment to thank all my friends and family for being there this week for me. It's been especially rough, but you all have stood beside me and made me smile through it all. I Am Crushed ...
Today we lost an important member of our family. Someone that had shared 17 years of my life. My beloved Piochi passed away at 6:45. She was diagnosed with cancer a little over a year and a half ago and my vet suggested not having surgery because of Chi's age. She had a strong heart, still thought she was a kitten, even if it was in her own little mind, and was not in any pain what so ever. She was a little over 15 then. We have watched her slowly lose the weight the last 2 weeks and yesterday I knew she was starting to fade. I remember exactly what I did that day. I was still a college student at that time. That morning I was watching my friends two children. We had just finished breakfast when my friend called and asked me if I had turned the tv on. I hadn't but as I did that is when the report of the second plane hitting the other tower. I just remember being in disbelief all day long. I went to my night class that night only for the professor to say now that we are here and with what has happened today I wish everyone a safe trip home and we will meet again next time. I then left and went home.

Panic Durring My Eeg
I had my EEG this morning, with a fallow up appointment on the 24th to talk to the dr and stuff. It went ok for the first little bit, i was a little anxious, but she put all the wires on my head and goo and i did ok untill i had to change my breathing. Finally!!! The volunteer reading program finally started up for this school year. A bit late this year, I guess due to space constraints at the school. The Wraps
I'm trying to figure out what I need to do or say, that will demonstrate a really great product that helps people who want to tighten up some skin on their person, and even loose some weight. I've only used the stuff around my eyes, in an attempt to lesson even loose the crows feet, and I have to admit that in the small amount I have used, I can definitely see a significant change. My old man, he uses a wrap that is applied to his neck and face, he's gone from having a 3 chin down to barely a double chin, a couple more wraps and it will disappear. And he's 72 years old. Company Christmas Party
Today, My Company did an awesome thing. The owners through a Christmas party outside in some big tents. They had it catered and had a live band Dr. Zarr’s Amazing Funk Monster, they rocked the place. 2nd Wrap Today
I did a wrap on my belly on Saturday. I was 39 1/2" around my gut. I did the wrap on myself, and in 45 mins, I was 38" around. Today, 72 hours later, is time for wrap #2. Swedish Pancakes
I have been making these since I was a kid. Learned this from my mother. If you only learn one recipe from me, this is the one. Super easy to make and once your pan is warm, they pop out super fast. 15 seconds or so. Plus they taste awesome. Easy to male a double batch, or cut everything in 1/3 for a single serving. Feel free to replace the sugar inside with cream cheese or jam. have fun, enjoy. SWEDISH PANCAKES 1 cup flour 3 eggs 1 cup milk 3 tablespoons sugar Pinch of salt Dash of vanilla Mix ingredients together. Pour onto very lightly oiled preheated surface. As soon as the downside gets solid enough, lightly separate from cooking surface. Flip when upside is almost solid. Once other side is cooked, but not brown, remove from heat. Lightly butter and sprinkle sugar on top. Use first side down as presentation side. Flip only ONCE. Makes 2-3 servings.

Much to my delight, our psycho pharmacy tech is being axed. *hmmm, perhaps "axed" is not the term to use for a crazy woman....* Just saying she is a flipping psychopath doesn't even begin to describe what we have been dealing with for the past 7 months. My Deployment
well i have about 3 weeks till i start training for my deplyment. It cant get here fast enough.
