My Best Friend
Truly blessed in life am I
for my many trials and tribulations, I have never faced alone
When I was so low, nothing left to me that I wanted to die
you were there keeping me safe
When people laughed and ridiculed me
you stood proudly beside me
If I only needed someone to talk to
your ears were always there for me
When all I could do was cry
your shoulder was better than the softest tissue
You never left my side
Where would I be without you
you are my best friend
and I wouldn't trade you
for anything in the world.
