Well I had the *whispers* colonoscopy...Well that was all kinds of fun =| Everything looked normal, which is good but...they still dont know whats wrong with me...so i'm still tired and weak, but i get to go to work tomorrow. Today was the first day of a perinatal nursing conference I'm attending for work. Day after day and night after night I sit here. Why am I consumed with this all encompassing sense of empty sadness? At night I can hear all the nocturnal sounds... crickets making their endless chirping – coyotes calling to each other – the horses making their habitual demands. I am surrounded by life but none which can touch me. So, I sit and I wait. Eventually I allow my imagination to roam across the wall of my prison. I start at the far upper left corner of the wall and make a tracing pattern across to the opposite end. Then back again to the other side…. back and forth until the pattern is completed on each wall. The scrutiny of my eyes seek out each and every flaw to be uncovered. Why do I look for flaws? I know there are flaws. I've seen them a million times over. My Trip To The Er Today
OK... for those of you worried...and so I don't have to explain it all over and over I'm just going to write this. I guess I should first give you some "histroy". Last December/January I was sick for 33 days. Woke up on a Thursday with what I thought were the first symptoms of the flu. Every muscle in my body hurt so bad. I had no fever but I figured it just hadn't hit yet. I figured I'd get in early and get some tamaflu so it wouldn't last so long so I made an appointment for the next morning. I got there and was met by my doctor with a "Wow, you look like you feel like shit" (we're friends so yeah that's normal conversation between us), but yeah... I did feel like shit. I was tested for the flu and it was negative. I told my doctor how much my stomache hurt and so of course had to lay down and allow him to push around on my belly. Yesterday was great. I got off work early and my friend, that I haven't seen in about 4 months came down and spent the day/night with me. Me and her went to the bowling alley and she watched me bowl and met John. Then me, her, and John went and got something to eat. Well today my Mom had her surgery. The doctors said she came out of it fine. She has normally high blood pressure and they said that it stayed normal through the surgery. They also said they were able to remove the whole tumor in one piece. They are keeping her in the ICU Step-down over night just to keep an eye on it. Earlier this evening I signed on with a contractor to do my roof- depending on the extent of squirrel damage (cost to repair) I may even be able to do the garage roof also. Bad Day At Work But Atleast I Came Home
hi all sorry to vent these feelings on u all. Well as most of u know i am a volunteer fire fighter, but my 9 to 5 job is with a roller door factory and today at 2:50 pm we had a work place incident. i was at work doing my job when an employee came running in and said we need an ambulance, having first aid i responded to the scene of the accident to find work mate laying on the floor bleeding from blunt force trauma to the head. i proceded to administer 1st aid until the ambulance arrived but sadly the employee passed away before he got to hospital. so this blog is in memory of him (Marvyn i am sorry i tried but could do no more for u buddy i regret the fact that u drew ur last breath in my arms, and that ur kids will never know how hard i tried to bring u back to them, but rest assured mate i did everything i could). Well...i Dont Even Know What To Do
I was talking to someone recently.. I asked her what she thought of my pictures. I think this is an honest question, something I have asked other people before. My albums are clearly labeled/named it is obvious what is in there. If this person didnt want to see what was in there, she could choose to ignore me or tell me she wasnt interested. Instead she flipped out on me, and started telling me how much of an asshole I am. I apologize if I have offended anyone on here, and I am sorry to this person. If you dont want to see things like this, go back to MYSPACE But I am not sorry for my intentions being as clear as day, and my pictures being labeled clearly. If you dont want to see something, then dont open an album that has a label that clearly says "HEY I HAVE NSFW pics in here!!"
